‘Limits On Free Speech’ – The Pope’s Latest Effort To Bring Muslims And Catholics Closer Together

Pope Francis - Photo by Alfredo BorbaShould criticism of Islam be banned?  Should the kinds of cartoons depicting Muhammed that were published by French magazine Charlie Hebdo be against the law?  In recent days, there has been a massive outpouring of support for free speech in the western world in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo massacre.  But there have also been a few dissenting voices.  One of these dissenting voices belongs to Pope Francis.  He has publicly stated that “there is a limit” to free speech and that “you cannot insult the faith of others”.  So obviously he does not approve of the cartoons of Muhammed that Charlie Hebdo has been publishing.  By taking this kind of public stand, the Pope is going to further endear himself to the more than one billion Muslims in the world.  Since he was elevated to Pope, he has been doing more than any of his predecessors to build bridges to Islam.  So precisely why is he doing this?  Why is he working so hard to bring Muslims and Catholics together?  Could it be possible that he is laying the groundwork for a future one world religion? The Charlie Hebdo Massacre Shows How Exceedingly Vulnerable Our Society Is To Islamic Terror

Islam Muslim Protest - Photo by Jamie KennedyIf just three crazed jihadists can cause this much worldwide terror, what could thousands or even millions of them do?  We live at a time when our world is becoming increasingly unstable, and thanks to the Internet hundreds of millions of people can know about a major act of terrorism within minutes of it happening.  And that is what Islamic terrorists want.  They want to cause fear, panic and terror, but more than anything else they want attention.  They want the world to know what they did and why they did it.  Even as much of the world recoils in horror in response to the massacre at the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, there are millions of radical Muslims in the Middle East that are greatly celebrating and are hailing these jihadists as heroes.  This is the biggest global news story of 2015 so far, and it is going to encourage other jihadists to commit similar attacks.  And without a doubt, these kinds of attacks have already been increasing.  It is being reported that worldwide suicide attacks by Muslims nearly doubled from 2013 to 2014.  Sadly, what we have seen up to this point is probably just the tip of the iceberg. Is Pope Francis Laying The Groundwork For A One World Religion? - Photo by FczarnowskiDoes Pope Francis intend to help the global elite achieve their goal of uniting all of the religions of the world under a single banner?  Will he be instrumental in establishing a single global religion for the glorious “new age” that the global elite believe is coming?  After he was elected, the cover of Time Magazine declared Pope Francis to be the “New World Pope“, and since his election Pope Francis has made it abundantly clear that he is going to make ecumenical outreach a top priority.  He has spoken of his “determination to continue on the path of ecumenical dialogue“, and he has already held a number of very high profile ecumenical meetings.  Not only has he worked hard to reach out to leaders from various Christian traditions, he has also made it a point to try to acknowledge the mutual bonds that he feels with all other religions.  For example, in one recent address he made it a point to say that he believes that Muslims worship and pray to the “one God” that he also worships.  This “all roads lead to the same God” philosophy is a hallmark of the one world religion that the global elite have been slowly building toward for decades.  The global elite know that even with a one world economy and a one world government, humanity will never be truly united until there is a single global religion.  Unfortunately, this one world religion that they are seeking to establish is diametrically opposed to the Christianity that we find in the Bible.  By throwing out Biblical truth for the sake of “friendship between men and women of different religious traditions“, is Pope Francis fundamentally betraying the faith that he claims to represent? The Fastest Growing Religion In America Is Islam

Do you know what the fastest growing religion in America is?  It isn’t Christianity.  According to the latest U.S. Religion Census that was just released on May 1, 2012, the fastest growing religion in America is Islam.  The data for the census was compiled by the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies, and the results were released by the Association of Religion Data Archives.  From the year 2000 to the year 2010, the census found that the number of Muslims living inside the United States increased by about 1 million to 2.6 million – a stunning increase of 66.7 percent.  That is an astounding rate of growth.  Meanwhile, most Christian denominations had rates of growth that were far below the overall rate of population growth in the United States, and some Christian denominations actually lost members.  Sadly, when Barack Obama once said that “we are no longer a Christian nation” he wasn’t too far off the mark.  Christianity is rapidly losing influence and other religions such as Islam are rapidly gaining members and building new places of worship.  As other major religions such as Islam continue to grow in the United States, it is inevitable that this will reshape America in many different ways in the years ahead. Barack Obama Apologizes For Burning Korans But Not For Burning Bibles?

It has become exceedingly clear that Barack Obama does not believe that all religions should be treated equally.  In recent days Barack Obama has gone to great lengths to apologize for the “inadvertent” burning of Korans by U.S. military forces in Afghanistan.  In fact, Obama has given his word that the United States will be “holding accountable those responsible” for the burning of the Korans.  But when the U.S. military purposely burned Bibles in Afghanistan a few years ago, there was never any apology from Barack Obama.  Christian groups all over the U.S. expressed great outrage but there was dead silence from Obama.  So why the double standard?  Do Muslims get an apology because they are willing to become violent over the burning of a Koran?  Does Barack Obama consider a Koran to be more valuable than a Bible?  Exactly what in the world is going on here?
