Now We Are Being Told That The Incubation Period For The Coronavirus “Can Be Around Two Weeks”

The more we learn about this mysterious new coronavirus, the more frightening this outbreak becomes.  As you will see below, we are now being told that the incubation period for this virus “can be around two weeks”.  That means that there could be countless numbers of people all over the globe that are carrying this virus around without even knowing it.  In fact, a woman that returned to Chicago from China on January 13th was not exhibiting any symptoms when she arrived.  So even if she had been “screened” at the airport, they would have let her through anyway.  But now it has been confirmed that she has the Chinese coronavirus, and she is in the hospital at this moment

A Chicago woman who returned from a visit to China earlier this month has been diagnosed with the respiratory coronavirus that has sickened hundreds in China, according to the Chicago Department of Public Health.

The woman, who is in her 60s, remained hospitalized Friday and her condition had been stabilized, said Dr. Allison Arwady, the commissioner for the Chicago Department of Public Health, on a news call with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The woman traveled to Wuhan, China, in late December and on Jan. 13 returned to Chicago, Arwady said.

Could it be possible that there are many more people that have flown from China to the United States in recent weeks that will become “confirmed cases” in the days ahead?

And meanwhile, how many others are they potentially exposing to the virus?

According to the CBS affiliate in Chicago, health officials are now telling us that the “incubation period for some can be around two weeks”…

According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, the patient is in her 60s and traveled to Wuhan in late December. She flew back to Chicago on Jan. 13.

Officials said she did not exhibit symptoms when she arrived. The incubation period for some can be around two weeks.

That should definitely send a chill down your spine.

Some people could literally be walking around for two weeks before they even realize that they have the virus.  That makes it an ideal disease to spread around the globe very rapidly.

Here in the United States, this outbreak could soon explode.  According to the CDC, “63 patients in 22 states” are currently being evaluated…

Nationwide, more than 2,000 people had been screened for the virus as of Thursday, and 63 patients in 22 states were being investigated Friday because of possible signs of the virus, according to the CDC.

And we have just learned that this virus has officially reached Europe.  The following comes from CNBC

France confirmed on Friday its first two cases of the Wuhan coronavirus, with one patient being hospitalized in Paris and the other in the southwestern city of Bordeaux.

Health Minister Agnes Buzyn told a news conference these were the first two confirmed cases in Europe and that more cases were likely to occur in France.

Subsequently, officials announced that a third case has now been confirmed in France.

Of course China continues to be the epicenter for this outbreak.

The Chinese government has announced that there have been more than 1,000 confirmed cases so far and the official death toll has reached 41.

And it also has been announced that the virus has now spread to “29 of China’s 31 provinces”

Chinese state media confirmed on Friday that the coronavirus, spreading from the city of Wuhan, has now infected 29 of China’s 31 provinces, a concession critics will likely take as confirmation that the Chinese government has not been honest about how rapidly the disease is spreading.

In other words, this is now a nationwide crisis in China.

The outbreak started in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and evidence continues to emerge that conditions in that city are far worse than the Chinese government is publicly admitting.

Over the past few days, video after video has been posted on social media showing residents of Wuhan literally “collapsing in the streets”

Disturbing videos have emerged purporting to show people collapsing in the streets of the Chinese city at the centre of the new coronavirus outbreak.

Dozens of videos tagged as coming from Wuhan show people lying in the street after collapsing where they stand or being tended to by medics as people in face masks rush to help.

And as I wrote about the other day, hospitals in Wuhan are being absolutely overwhelmed by hordes of sick people seeking treatment.  Many end up being sent home because there isn’t nearly enough hospital beds for everyone.

To say that the medical system in Wuhan was “unprepared” for something like this would be a massive understatement.  According to one woman that claims to be a nurse, things are so bad that corpses of those that have died from the disease “are being left unattended in a corridor” at one of the hospitals in the city…

Corpses of coronavirus victims are being left unattended in a corridor of a hospital flooded with patients in Wuhan as the Chinese city is ravaged by the deadly infection, it has been revealed.

The chilling scene, captured by a woman who claims to be a nurse, was posted on the country’s social media network today but quickly censored.

And that same woman went on to claim that the number of confirmed cases is purposely being suppressed

In the post, the self-proclaimed nurse accused hospitals of covering up the truth of the epidemic, claiming that doctors were refusing to issue formal diagnoses to coronavirus patients in order to keep the number of confirmed cases at a lower level.

She said that her husband had had a fever for eight days and been found to have an infection in the lungs, but no hospitals were willing to receive him.

Of course she is not the only one reporting on the deplorable conditions in the city.

According to a doctor in Wuhan that was interviewed by BBC News, there are “thousands of patients” that have had to wait “for hours” before a doctor can finally see them…

A doctor in the central Chinese city of Wuhan said thousands of patients were waiting for hours to see doctors.

The doctor at a Wuhan hospital told BBC News that there had been “an alarming rate of spread” of the deadly novel coronavirus, or 2019-nCoV, over the past two weeks in the city.

What a nightmare.

The Chinese government has chosen to respond to this crisis by locking down city after city.

According to CNBC’s Eunice Yoon, 16 major cities with a total population of 46 million people are now under quarantine…

China restricts 16 cities pop. 46mln!

Wuhan: 11mln
Huanggang: 7.5mln
Xiangyang: 6.1mln
Yichang: 4.2mln
Jingmen: 3mln
Xianning: 2.8mln
Huangshi: 2.5mln
Suizhou: 2.2mln
Xiantao: 1.6mln
Ezhou: 1mln
Qianjiang: 962k
Enshi: 780k
Xiaogan: 780k
Zhijiang: 550k
Dangyang: 560k
Chibi: 530k

We have never seen China do anything like this before.

Authorities are not using the term “pandemic” to describe this outbreak yet, but it appears that it may just be a matter of time before that starts happening.

And even though “screening” efforts are being implemented at airports all over the globe, the truth is that it can be quite difficult to figure out who has this virus and who does not.  In fact, Mike Adams of Natural News is reporting that this virus is even spreading “among people who show non-respiratory symptoms”…

Coronavirus is spreading among people who show non-respiratory symptoms. This means detection of the carriers of the virus is going to be extremely difficult, given that nearly all health officials around the world are looking for respiratory symptoms such as coughing, sneezing and breathing difficulties.

Some carriers of this rapidly spreading strain of coronavirus show no fever and no coughing, but instead are exhibiting symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting and chest pains.

So if authorities are only looking for people with “respiratory symptoms”, they could be missing countless others that are actually carrying the disease.

A time of great global chaos has now begun, and life as you have known it is starting to change.

And as bad as things are already, the truth is that the rest of the year promises to be even more chaotic.
