Although
it sounds a bit odd at first–and Owen, who appears to be a genius of
sorts, is odd indeed–the theory makes sense. It certainly explores
themes that the “global warmers” pass over without a second thought,
such as nuclear catastrophes, meltdowns, and test explosions. Owen
blames the nuclear madness for melting ice caps, which in turn leads to
the earth’s tossing and turning the resultant displaced water.

The same tornado destroyed parts of downtown Xenia.

The highways leading into Xenia were part of the problem.

Route 35 went from being a two lane small highway to being a four lane highway just a couple of years before this. It was not an interstate highway. But a lot of trees came down to make this highway.

Those trees block high winds from forming! So now we have high trees everywhere along the route.

Oklahoma is part of a vast flat land. It needs to break up those winds naturally with a lot of trees. That probably won’t stop a tornado. But it will lessen its effect.

I also suggest building the homes different. I mean cement block walls. I am no engineer. Only the engineers can design homes for this area. This has to be done with good design people.

My own choice would be homes built into the ground itself. That is not a cheap choice. However it minimizes the damage from high winds. It has the side benefit of keeping the homes at a solid temperature year round.

The Earth itself is at a surface temp of about 52 degrees. Anyone with a basement knows this and also knows it is probably going to be damp.

That is where good engineering can come in with better insulation.

The cost goes down if everyone does it. But it is still cheaper than rebuilding your home every few years and it is a lot safer.

The only real help is to determine the cause of the tornado alley and soften the effect with good natural engineering. That means a whole bunch of trees.

You may want to consider God hasn’t revealed Himself to you for a reason, that you have a hardened heart. One day you may require a dependence on something greater than yourself and He could reveal Himself then. You’ll never come to know God in the mindstate you have. You cannot know God with a rational mind of this world’s making. Mankind did not create itself, did not think itself into being.

When you begin accepting simple facts, such as that you did not create yourself and your parents didn’t engineer the sperm and egg to create you, then you’ll perhaps start to open up to the truth of God. God is holy, good, you are a sinner and Jesus is the bridge back to Him. It’s your choice.
