You know, J Edgar Hoover hit the nail on the head when he said that 50% of the country in his time was criminal. I'd say it is nearer to 95% now. "Insanity" really is immorality , or to call it by its real name , sin. Crime is another word. No society can last when it has no moral underpinnings. I am happy that the right-wing fascists are afraid, though, of "communist overthrows" and other kinds of stupid conspiracies. It keeps them from thinking too hard about how self-undermining and slavish their own beliefs are, I guess. If it was that high back then, I've been very curious just how bad it really is now? I figure we're closer to 20% or more now, thanks to the fedgov's accounting gimmicks. They don't follow GAAP, so who knows what wizardry they're up to with the #???
