The Largest Natural Disaster In U.S. History: The Endless Drought Of 2012 Will Bake America Well Into August

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Why is the heartland of the United States experiencing such a horrific drought right now?  At the moment, approximately 61 percent of the entire nation is experiencing drought conditions, and this is absolutely devastating farmers and ranchers all over the country.  Less than two weeks ago I wrote an article asking what would happen if these drought conditions persisted, and now we are finding out.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture has created the largest natural disaster area in U.S. history.  The USDA has declared 1,016 counties in 26 U.S. states to be disaster areas. The USDA declaration basically covered about half of the nation, and there is now no denying how horrible this drought really is.  You can see a map of this disaster area right here.  This endless drought is being compared to the nightmarish drought of 1988, and if it persists into August it could become perhaps the worst drought that America has ever seen.  The USDA says that approximately 60 percent of all corn in the country is experiencing “moderate to extreme” drought conditions.  If this drought does not end soon, the losses are going to be mind blowing.  Already, it is estimated that farmers and ranchers have suffered billions of dollars in damage.  How much worse can things get?

At the beginning of July many were hoping that we would soon see some rain and that we could still see a decent corn harvest.

Unfortunately, the drought has gotten even worse since that time.  The following is from an article in the Chicago Tribune….

The whole of Iowa was classified as abnormally dry as of July 10 and 12.7 percent of the top corn and soybean producing state was in severe drought, up from 0.8 percent the prior week.

Harder-hit Illinois, the No. 2 corn and soy state, was 66.28 percent under severe drought or worse, up from 40 percent the previous week.

Severe to exceptional drought covered 80.15 percent of Indiana, versus 68.84 percent the prior week.

Conditions in Missouri also deteriorated, with 82.54 percent of the state in severe drought or worse, compared with 78.83 percent the week before.

That is not good news.

Posted below is the latest update from the U.S. drought monitor.  As you can see, nearly the entire southern half of the country is extremely dry right now….

It is being projected that in some of the major corn growing areas as much as 60 percent of the crops could be lost.

Many farmers that had been desperately hoping for rain are now becoming resigned to the fact that their crops are not going to make it.  The following is from an article in the New York Times….

“Corn is anywhere from knee-high to waist-high,” Gonzalee Martin, agriculture and natural resources educator with Purdue University’s Allen County extension office, told The News-Sentinel. “Much of it has already tassled with no ears at all. Much of it’s going to be completely lost”

When your livelihood depends on the weather, an endless drought can be extremely stressful.  Many farmers that had been anticipating a bumper crop this year are now faced with an utter disaster.  The following example comes from CNN….

Now, as punishing drought grips the Midwest, Villwock, 61, walks his hard-hit 4,000 acres in southwest Indiana in utter dismay.

Where there should have been tall, dark green, leafy plants, there now stand corn stalks that are waist high or, at best, chest high. They are pale in color and spindly. Fragile. Tired.

Pull back an ear’s husk and you find no kernels, he says. With temperatures rising above 95 degrees, the pollen starts to die.

“It’s emotionally draining,” he said. “The crop got out of the ground very well. We were so optimistic. But maybe a few of us were counting our eggs before they were hatched.”

So is there any hope that things are going to turn around?

Unfortunately, things do not look promising right now.  It is being projected that the Corn Belt will experience extremely high temperatures and very low rainfall all the way through mid-August.  The following report comes from…. agricultural meteorologists are concerned that new and frequent waves of near-100-degree temperatures and stingy rainfall will further stress crops over Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska into mid-August.

When temperatures are very high and rainfall is very low, evaporation happens very rapidly.  As notes, when the ground becomes very, very dry it can create a vicious cycle that feeds on itself….

Evaporation rates are very high into the first part of August. Soaking rain on a regular basis instead of a brief downpour is needed to be of benefit beyond a couple of days.

Turning things around in the Midwest as a whole will be a difficult task as dry ground tends to bring higher daytime temperatures, which in turn raises evaporation rates and so on.

So what does all of this mean for the rest of us?

It is going to mean higher food prices.

On Friday, the price of corn hit $7.50 a bushel.

It had been thought that the price of corn would only be about $5.00 a bushel this year.

At this point, the price of corn is up 48 percent since mid-June, and it could go a whole lot higher.

Some analysts are projecting that if this endless drought persists, we could see ten dollars for a bushel of corn and 20 dollars for a bushel of soybeans.

And yes, you will notice this at the supermarket.

In a previous article, I included a quote from a recent article by Holly Deyo about why the price of corn affects the price of so many other products….

Since 75% of grocery store products use corn as a key ingredient, expect food prices to skyrocket. Corn is also a staple in many fast foods. Corn is in ethanol and the main food source or chickens. In addition to this, maize is in many things that aren’t obvious like adhesives, aluminum, aspirin, clothing starch, cosmetics, cough syrup, dry cell batteries, envelopes, fiberglass insulation, gelatin capsules, ink, insecticides, paint, penicillin, powders, rugs and carpets, stamps, talcum, toothpaste, wallpaper, and vitamins. That’s just for starters…

This is a huge heads up for you to purchase corn-using products NOW before these conditions reflect in grocery goods. It will be a narrow window of opportunity.

This endless drought is also a complete and total nightmare for ranchers.

At this point, approximately 50 percent of America’s pastures and ranges are in “poor” or “very poor” condition.

Back in June, that figure was only sitting at 28 percent.

So things have gotten a lot worse very quickly.

A lot of ranchers are selling off their cattle because this drought is making it very difficult to continue to feed them.  The following is from….

Rauhn Panting, with the University of Idaho, who works with ranchers and farmers, says, “We’re going to run out of grass. It’s going to be scary.” Ranchers are being advised to vacate grazing lands, weeks and even months before when they usually have to leave.

Left with only two choices, feed or sell, many are opting to sell their cattle. The Torrington Stock Market in Wyoming, has recorded that 36,000 cattle were sold in May and June of this year. The usual average for these months is 5,500. Small ranchers, with 30-50 cow/calf pairs, are being hit the hardest.

So expect higher meat prices in the fall and winter as well.

This all comes at a really bad time.  We are already on the verge of a global financial catastrophe.  Agriculture was supposed to be one of the few bright spots in the U.S. economy.

Sadly, the U.S. is not the only one having problems with crops this year.

For example, in Germany farmers are actually experiencing a full-blown plague of rats.

Yes, seriously.

The following is from a recent Der Spiegel article….

Millions of field mice are overrunning the central German states of Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt, much to the concern of local farmers. The rodents are devastating food crops, cutting yields by up to 50 percent. Getting birds of prey to hunt the critters didn’t help, and now farmers want to be allowed to use a banned rat poison.

So why is all of this happening?

Why is nature going crazy all of a sudden?

Please feel free to post a comment with your opinion below….

Why is all this happening? Amos ch. 4 is why!

    • r.bitting

Michael, You know, most believers are familiar with 2 Chronicles 7:14, which calls for believers to humble themselves, pray and seek God so that he might relent from the judgment. But what many fail to realize is, that in the context of that verse, God has already sent warnings to the people ( one of which was drought ). In fact, the previous verse ( verse 13 ), reads as follows: ” When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send disease among my people ” If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. I’m very worried in regard to this nations willingness to turn back to God. I believe there will be another great awakening, but that it will come about as a result of what the bible calls the tribulation, because in my experience, it’s only when people have had their lives turned upside down will they seek God. I think many believers are starting to sense that we as a nation have passed the point of no return as described in Deuteronomy 28 and Romans ch. 1.

god has nothing to do with this, its HARRP n SCALAR technology being used by the elite to disrupt everything, and make us dependanet on the corporations. They use god and religion to keep us divideded, and u are playing right into that.”god” created Love. Love is Love, regardless of who is expieriencing said love. The bible is not the word of god, its a manipulated msg of man, translated, and re-written countless times, after being spread around for hundreds of years by word of mouth before it was put to print…remeber the game ‘telephone’? you have a group of 20-30 people and u begin by whispering an original msg in the first persons ear, and it continues, and by the end the original msg is no longer there. think about that…

Why? Since we want to ban God from everything in America, God is letting America see what it’s like to live without Him. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31)

    • Who is we that want to ban God from everything? It certainly isn’t me. I’ll tell who it is are the wacky liberal democrats in Washington, DC, and their liberal friends on the Supreme Court and elsewhere. No, I don’t think republicans are the answer, but it is the democrats who believe that if God and Christians would just get out of the way, the democrats would usher in uptopia for all of us. That’s how bird brain democrats think. They are really the God haters.

We didn’t devolve into a nation of pathetic, status-obsessed zombies because of the Blue Team’s political correctness. As silly as the appeals to secularized language can be, more blasphemous still is the shallow materialism practiced by the legions of idiots who borrow countless sums of money to finance an unsustainable lifestyle. I would not say that the right-wing middle manager who buys a Hummer to show everyone how pretend-rich he is is doing much for his country’s spiritual health.

      • Gay Veteran

eyeroll. Prayer was never banned from schools. As long as there are algebra tests there will be prayer in schools.

Oh wait! You meant forced prayer. Yeah, that was banned.

  • Food prices are about to go through the roof(hyperinflation) and
most Americans are barely making it to put food on the table.
I just noticed going to local pizza shop a slice of Cheese Pizza
went from $2.00 to 2.30 just after the 4th of July week ended.

    Is the USA under judgment?

I took a moment to double check some info on Nicolaism. It was worse than I realized / remembered.

Little wonder God spoke out against them through John of the Revelation.

Nicolaism shared the basic beliefs of Antinomianism. (“No moral law is needed; faith alone is needed for salvation.”) (This now goes under the name of “cheap grace” in Christian circles).

Nicolaism was specific in that adherents believed in polygamy (Thomas Aquinas), and that they led lives of unrestrained indulgence (in all manner of things) (Theodoret). The sect was short-lived (Eusebius). It was established by a certain Bishop Nicolas (obviously, hence the name).

Sadly, I would have to say that this ‘sect’ has made an appearance in the form of what often passes for mainstream Christianity in our world today, especially in Western Civilization, specifically the idea that no real moral law is necessary and that faith alone is needed for salvation, and also the habit of unrestrained indulgence (even going farther, towards hedonism); also in that a form of polygamy is practiced where people both young and older especially seem willing to have multiple sex partners in parallel, in series, and in any combination, even with either gender – with the commitment of actual marriage (even polygamous marriage) nary given a thought.

So if God SPECIFICALLY stated that he hated this religious sect (something I cannot recall seeing in any other part of the Bible); and if the USA specifically has re-adopted this exact same set of beliefs (which it appears to have done); doesn’t it seem logical that God may very well have turned towards this nation in anger?

So; is America under judgment? I daresay – yes.

One constructive thing the government in DC could do (but won’t) would be to dump the ethanol requirements for motor fuels immediately.

    • Alyssa

I’m not a Biblical scholar, but doesn’t it refer to “famine in the land of plenty”?

      • Gary2

no its just Gog and Magog tussling…

  • Dave

Nature? I don’t believe it. I am in my late 50’s and have lived in this part of the Midwest all of my life. In my lifetime I have never seen March weather in the 80’s for 2 weeks, EVER. And now all of this drought and heat, it is starting to make sense, however.

Remember the Hegelian Principle? Well a few years ago the global warming alarmist people were all over the media yelling about how we were all going to overheat, etc. etc. Some people (mostly the emotionally challenged) starting yelling how we all had to have a smaller carbon footprint, blah, blah blah.
Then some folks hacked into the e-mails of some of these so-called UN global warming “scientists” who were spouting all of this drivel and found out that the numbers in their GW theories were fudged and they were even laughing at how some people people had been fooled by their lies. So, naturally the media reported these stories and people for the most part said, “Wow, what a bunch of crooks and liars.”
Well, that was then. So now these same GW folks and their government cronies have pulled out all of the stops. The HAARP weather modification program in Alaska has been firing on all cylinders this year. They have adjusted the jet stream further north and now, they have killed all of the fruit crop in Michigan and are now working on the corn and soybeans here in the Midwest.

One way or another they are going to “force” us to “believe” in this hoax. Wake up people, it is all a sham.

    • sunshine

Just don’t buy corn or soy product beginning now. Let it sit on the shelf and rot and the fat cats can take that to the bank.
Right, on the weather manipulation. Needs to be banned worldwide.

      • Josh

dont forget any animal product since they eat corn, soy, wheat. eggs meat milk will all be higher because of this too.

    • Josh

i live in Michigan and you are correct very little fruit will be coming out of michigan this year. as far as my own fruit trees there will be no fruit at all, i went to my buddies place a few weeks ago a little north of traverse city and he had some fruit on his trees but it wasnt much, all of the road side stands that are usually full of cherries were maybe 20% full.

    • jeff

Dave. Great comments. I am waiting for the person who tells us what we can do to irradicate HAARP and other gov. agencies put in place to destroy us? I found something at Type in the words “the Library” and be some-what comforted. Stay alert and never be afraid to be afraid, just be alert.

      • jeff

        should be Sorry

    • Tony Harrigan

Global warming is real, and if we, as materialistic humans, don’t change our behavior, we will cause an accelerated heating of the atmosphere. Global warming should not be viewed as a leftist pinko conspiracy, but as simple science. When we burn off 100’s of million years of fossil fuels since the Industrial Revolution, then CO2 levels in the atmosphere will climb, and the earth will heat up at an accelerated pace, and a by product of this are droughts.

  • ZombieDawg

In numerical terms that’s about a 50 million ton loss in corn production.
    Frightening isn’t it !

But..Australia will be able to ship sizeable amounts if need be.

    • regi

here in Canada, we’re having a super crop. Barley, wheat, corn, canola etc.. everything is growing very well right now. So with australia and other countries , the USA will be able to eat without paying too much. One fact remain, the Canadian farmer will get rich this year !

  • unknown

It is happening because of Biderberg’s scalar / directed energy / HAARP facilities, viewable by Google satellite and elucidated by the History Channel’s episodes on HAARP. There is no coincidence. And it is not global warming. It is a hyperbolic increase in epic earthquake and weather events over the past decade. With that technology online by Bilderberg, they want to pop the world in 2012 to get their genocidal world dictatorship, and they are doing it: it was predictable to the T.

“This would especially be true if they were told that there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by a World Government.” – Henry Kissinger, Bilderberg Conference, Evians, France; cf. This is one reason why people should have a food storage at home. By buying food at a lower cost today, the amount of money you save is tax free. I can tell you that there is a comforting feeling about having a long term food supply at your home. Get prepared folks!

    • Chuck

That can get you marked as a terroist by the feds. To store and be prepared is one of the signs per the federal publications.

  • Tatiana Covington

Nature is not going crazy. It never does, because it cannot. The physical universe is lawful. This is only a hot, dry summer, of which there have been many millions before now. There will be many millions more.

    • @ Tatiana C., no I think you’re wrong. I think there have only been about 10,000 summers since the creation of the Earth. There won’t be millions or even a million summers in Earth’s history. Also to say that the universe is “lawful” is kind of confusing. The speed of light changes all the time. But Cesium atoms seem to always vibrate at the same frequency when they are swept by a range of frequencies. If the weather is lawful, what are the laws? Why is it always changing? Please explain.

      • Brian M.

        Sources for your claims?

      • Guido

I’m sorry, but how can you prove there have been 10,000 summers? There’s not a shred of evidence to support that claim, especially since we find remains and cave paintings and tools and whatnot of peoples up to 20,000 years old. And let’s not forget fossils and remains of creatures millions of years old. You can’t deny the truth if you go to a museum and actually look at it.

In fact, 5 seconds of searching online found this:

Israeli scientists claim they’ve found human remains 400,000 years old. That’s nearly half a million years. Even if their tests are flawed and the remains are only 1/4th that age, it seriously shoots holes in your statement.

      • Nexus789

You have to be kidding me. The planet is billions of years old. No wonder the US is going do the crapper with the amount of religious nonsense that bandied about. It is ignorance and an excuse for nit taking responsibility for anything. I was asked to live in the US and work. Glad I turned it down.

      • Gay Veteran

sorry Guido but your scientific ignorance is simply amazing

        • Gay Veteran

whoops! that was for Craig. sorry

          • Tabytha

You are all wrong, every one of you! Time is relative, depending on velocity and gravitation. The earth can be billions of years old AND thousands of years old, depending on your instruments of measurements. God, being infinite, can travel at the speed of light, experiencing billions of years in six days. Space-time is NOT uniform; therefore a stupid argument about the age of the earth is a moot point. I recommend that you all take a course in modern physics, stop quibbling over these things and start taking the catastrophe on planet earth seriously enough to DO something about it!!!

  • The drought is being caused by many factors. Human caused climate change. Over working the ground, the same thing that caused the dust bowl and over production of crops. The aquifers are being drained faster than nature can refill them.
Much of what we think of as the farm belt has been converted from desert wasteland by irrigating and it is all taking a toll on the available water supply.

    • Alyssa

It’s my fault. I own an Explorer.Wake up dipstick! The only constant related to climate IS change.

Don’t worry, Earth can survive well without humans.

My last question was for someone specific. This question… ok multiple questions… is open to anyone who is Christian. I asked part of it to a friend to test the waters as to whether or not it might be offensive. They were o.k. with what I asked so here is the whole question(s).
I would like to know how people view the NWO from a religious standpoint.
Do you feel that what is underway with our turning toward a global government is inevitable? Isn’t it necessary in order for there to be a rise of the anti-christ to power?
Now here is what I did not ask my friend….
If there must be a one world government in order for the anti-christ to rise to power and ultimately bring about judgement day, why would you resist the NWO?
Are any of you excited as it would ultimately mean the return of your messiah?

    • lamar

yes..the anti-christ is alive and well…he just doesnt know it yet.World events and even those in politics at the highest level is making and paving a way the the one world system.

      • HecatesMoon

Lamar, then you believe that even if people attempted to revolt that doing so is doomed to begin with? Do you think that there would be a chance at success in throwing off the NWO and delaying it for another say…200 years or so? Being a christian, do you want to delay it?
You led me to another question too. :P How could the anti-christ not know they were the anti-christ?

      • Gary2

you need to stop reading sci-fi–anticrist?/really?? is this akin to antifreeze??

        • HecatesMoon

          Ah! Ah!
I want to know what people think, and a lot of people here speak of Christianity very frequently. I want to understand as many angles as I can. Even if I am not a part of that angle.
          It’s important to understand.

    • A Concerned Young American Patriot

Hecates, in answer to your questions, yes, the nwo IS necessary for the anti-christ’s rise to power, as the nwo is the false prophet, telling people what is good (while in reality it is bad), what to do, what to eat, and how to live. The false prophet precedes the anti-christ, and while he may be alive now, he will not attempt to control the world until the nwo is firmly in place. (the un and the false prophet seem so similar nowadays).

In answer to your second question; we are uneasy. Yes, we firmly do await the return of our savior, but (whether we admit to it or not) we are also nervous about his return. We all have friends or relatives that reject or question his existance, and we do not want to lose them. Also, we do not want to have to witness the turbulence unfold on earth, and be powerless to stop it. So yes, we eagerly await his return, but we also fear what it may hold for us and our loved ones.

If the rapture does occur, I for one will volunteer to stay behind and try to save as many as possible, while at the same time fighting for our savior.

Hope that (at least partially) answered your questions
      -Young Patriot

      • HecatesMoon

        Thank you, Young Patriot.
I see what you mean. BUT…then the question is; With that mix of eagerness and fear, given the option to try to stop, or delay I should say, the inevitable do you want to attempt to delay it?
Are you eager enough to simply allow it, or does that fear and not wanting to see others harmed override eagerness?
It’s a sticky subject, I know, and I can understand anyone NOT wanting to answer. I am just driven to know what people think or how things are viewed from every lens.

        • A concerned young AmeriCan Patriot

Now that is a hard question, and I believe the answer is : we do not know how we will react, nor what we do, until it happens. I would be lying to you if I said I knew what I would do during the apocolypse.
          -Young Patriot

    • Tabytha

You misunderstand the relation between fate and freewill.

God knows what will happen because the past, for God, has already happened. He transcends time.
Certain things will happen- some are righteous, some are outside of God’s will (sin). God allowed free will in His universe in order to make His mercy and grace manifest.

If there was no free will, there would be no sin. If there was no sin, sins could not be forgiven by grace, and God could not reveal His divine mercy and grace.

However, those who hate good and love evil are 100 % responsible for their sin!!!! Therefore, although we rejoice for those who will experience grace, mercy and forgiveness for their sins, seeing the world fall into darkness and tribulation is an occasion for mourning, not rejoicing.

    • A.S.

It is not a paradox. It is merely two different scenarios foretold by the prophets.
      1. If we are deserving of the Moshiach (Messiah in Hebrew) then he will come during a world-peace that was made by us.
      2. If we are not deserving, when he will come during war like never seen, massive famine, massive economic collapse, etc.
It appears like we are in number 2. even though we have the U.N. because the U.N. is not doing what it originally had intended. Proof of this is their corruption, creating more wars, famine, economic turmoil, etc., and being against Israel, to name just a few.

Could it be the wrath of God for the nature of the corn being grown, that is, GMO corn, which is most certainly NOT God’s creation?

In 2011 it was Texas, this year it’s the rest of the mid-west.

  • Smith_comma_John

I can’t get too fussed about the loss of the corn. 75-85% of it is GMO poison.

    • HecatesMoon

Be that as it may, people are depending on that poison. I don’t necessarily care that those crops survive, but I must care whether or not innocent people face starvation due to their loss.

    • A Concerned Young AmeriCan Patriot

Yet without gm corn, millions will starve. We have dug ourselves into a hole so deep that the only ways out seem to be a slow death by hunger, or a slow death by genetic mutations and food poisoning to the extreme. We rely too heavily on gm food products. It is a sad statement, but true nonetheless.

Hard to believe the conservatives still do not believe man made global warming…

    • Prepping for the Future

Hard to believe Al Bore gullible weakling are still pushing the con. We have droughts before learn to read a book for once in your life. I guess when T rex roam the land it was man made Globull warming then too right cause from the caveman lighting fires? Right Gary. When we had record cold temps you con artist told it was weather not climate. Now we have hot WEATHER you are saying see it’s proof. Sorry it’s just climate. LOL

      • HecatesMoon

Severe weather of all sorts, including cold, is a part of a changing global climate.
Surely it must be acknowledged that what we put into the air doesn’t simply vanish to nothing with absolutely zero affect…or is it effect…. anyway…
Yes, a group of scientists may have fudged some things. The fact that they compromised their integrity in an effort to wake people before there’s no going back doesn’t make it all fake.
We affect things. Ultimately we won’t beat nature, but we do affect it. There can be no denying that.
        It’s effect, isn’t it… eh…

T Rex survived well for a few million years without humans littering the place.

Gary the last Ice Age ended 10,000 years ago. Since then the glaciers have been retreating and the oceans have been rising. In that last 10,000 years we know there were periods that were warmer than today…..Warm enough to have vineyards in places that are tooo cold today to grow grapes….So what caused the earth to start warming back then some 9,970 years before the first SUV?
BTW, what is the correct temperature of the earth???? Should it be warmer or colder? Or is it just like Goldilocks and her porridge “just right”?…..
Seriously, these numbnuts with satellites, super computers, thousands of weather stations and billions of dollars can’t even tell you what the weather will be like next month, let alone next year or next decade. So why would you believe that they can tell you it will be warmer in the future?????

Hard to believe liberals still believe in global warming. This is all part of the natural course of the earth. This is the transition of the 10,000 year mild period to the 100,000 year cooling period. The temperatures rise before they fall. It is strange however that it has happened this time 2,000 (roughly) years late. That’s one-fifth more than the transition usually takes. Maybe it is GOD judging us for our sins. However, I will not pretend to know, because only the lord knows his plans.

“Total human contributions to greenhouse gases account for only about 0.28% of the “greenhouse effect”

My Young Patriot friend, I went on to look up the 100,000 year cooling period. I have only looked at one site so far, but at this point, you have left me confuzzled. :P
        I will look much deeper.
Regardless of what I find, overall it won’t change the way I feel about things. Respect for the natural world, preservation of the natural world, a desire to leave as little a mark as I can will not fade.
We will see what I find…

        • A concerned young AmeriCan Patriot

Hecates, I do not know all of the details, it is confusing to me as well, it is a scientific “theory” and I guess I should not be propagating it as fact, as it is just a theory. I believe it is relatively true, but then again, it is a theory and it could be wrong. I also do not know everything about it.

eyeroll. if you went to 100 cardiologists and 95 said you needed surgery then would you get the surgery?

        same with climate change

Gay, *eyeroll* you are all attitude. *snicker* :D

        • knightowl77

The climate has always been changing; True or False?
What is the correct temperature of the Earth?
What effect does the Sun play in our climate?
Have the glaciers been retreating since the last Ice Age?
Throughout the history of this planet have their not been warmer periods than this one?

      • HecatesMoon

Well, it seems that both sides of scientists each have their own evidence to back up their side and to do so very well.
Basically, I am led back to what I have always believed though.
On one side it is said we contribute less than one percent of green house emissions. Carbon dioxide itself does not drive temperature. Carbon dioxide levels are driven BY temperature. And yes, regardless of what human beings do or don’t do, we are going to go through climate changes whether we like it or not.
There is positive correlation to the use of certain chemicals to the minor cooling period we had prior to…what was it…1970? and then the warming up after usage was stopped. Positive correlation doesn’t always equate to cause and effect, but I don’t wish to take my chances.
While we may contribute less than one percent, the balance of nature and of life is based on the very precise so even if our contribution to change is meager, it very well could be more than enough to change things in a manner that things aren’t meant to be changed.
And if carbon dioxide levels are driven by temperature, what does additional carbon dioxide added not by natural events, but by humans mean? Do we really know? It may not control temperature, but it isn’t supposed to be there, and everything affects everything else ultimately.
We are tinkering again…tinkering, tinkering, tinkering….
Will we go through climatic shifts whether we tinker or not? Yes, but I don’t want to contribute to speeding anything up, or to throwing off the balance of nature’s perfect machinery.
Will it find a way to balance itself out again? Yes, but not without a whole lot of suffering or additional suffering for us, if nature doesn’t decide we’re just best wiped out altogether.
Young Patriot, thank you for giving me something to exercise my brain on. :)

        • Gay Veteran

both sides of scientists??? what percentage of scientists oppose the theory of climate change? 10% 1% 0.1%?

It’s time we build the Grand Canal project from the southern part of Canada’s Hudson’s Bay to the Great Lakes, then build a network of canals to disperse the fresh water throughout the country. This has been proposed in the past and would generate a flow of fresh water 2 1/2 times the size of Niagara Falls. The James Bay region produces more than enough fresh water runoff to supply the areas of North America that badly need fresh water. The project would also keep the Ogallala Aquifer sufficiently supplied with fresh water.

If Hussan would of let them construct the Keystone pipeline we could of used it to pump water down before the oil. No darn forsight in that Oval office.

if you want to keep a closed mind about farming techniques you could go that route, or farming could turn into this with alot less effort.. .

aquaculture that is completely self sustaining.

Michael check out that video if you get a chance, this guy could change the world.

      • Scott

Interesting, but there’s also the issue of supplying fresh drinking water to people and livestock, along with supplying water to grass fields for cattle grazing.

        • Paul

          Why do you need cattle?

Use cattle only where you can’t put machinery for crops.

Need to learn about mixed agriculture. Trees providing shade under which moisture stays longer and veggies and root crops can grow, interspersed with livestock like chicken, that feed on scraps.

Sure, need more people, but there you are: JOBS!

The problem is the Sun. It has been erupting big time this last year after being dormant for the last 5 years. We are getting a lot more heat from the Sun than is normal. No one knows when the activity will peak. It normally goes in 11 year cycles. This one seems to be a big and violent one.
A similar event happened in 1858. The result was it burned out the transformers being used with telegraphs for the Eastern Coast of the United States.
Part of the problem is magnetic storms. It is possible that the Sun storms could generate a magnetic field that wipes out every computer on the planet. For now we are getting magna from the Sun Spots that propel out into space in our direction. This in turn is playing havoc with the weather and the ionosphere.
My suggestion to the farmers is water the plants at night. If it is done around 11 it should soak down into the roots and allow the plants to drink. Then the daylight while intense will do little harm. The stronger sunlight will actually make them grow quicker.
The problem then becomes logistics. Finding the water to keep the plants alive.

    • A Concerned Young American Patriot

Dave webb: and this violent solar cycle also coincides with the conclusion of the 10,000 year mild period, and we are now headed to a 100,000 year cooling period (the temperature rises before it falls). Both of these natural turbulences are happening at the same time, the last time it occurred significantly was the mass extinction of the dinosaurs. Who knows what we are in for. The answer, no one but GOD.
      -Young Patriot

      • A Concerned Young American Patriot

Sorry, I correct myself (I just watched Jurrasic park again, and dinosaurs are fresh on my mind). It was the mass extinction of the late paleozoic era, not the one that killed the dinos.

I am at BEST sitting on the fence about even whether or not I am sitting on the fence! lol But honestly, even if I did finally manage to fall over to the positive side, I still wouldn’t be more than a dirty little pagan. :P
I have looked up whether or not a mathematical problem has ever led to indicate the existence of a god. None has. I have looked up what some of the most brilliant minds felt on the subject- they say no.

          • A concerned young AmeriCan Patriot

Many people struggle with the concept of some being of higher power in existence, believers go through it every day. Oftentimes, it is due to an overwhelming ego that someone absolutely denies that there could be a GOD (as is seen in many atheists). You on the other hand seem to be a unique case. It is a possibility that you have just had not enough time for self reflection, I have found that exploring one’s conscious can be very rewarding and can produce unexpected results. Also, you might be one of those people that have to see something to believe it, and you just have not experienced GOD’s presence yet. You are NOT, however, one of those people who is just too arrogant to even contemplate the idea.
Thank you for listening to the musings of a teenager.

While what I said in the previous post is true there is a second factor entering in. We have a world wide system of currents. The Atlantic current normally generates heat to Europe, circles around the coasts and brings cool water back down the Atlantic coast cooling off most of New England. That is the normal flow of things. If I am right. Europe is much cooler this year.
BP had an oil spill. Oil is a lot more dense than water. It has slowed the Atlantic Current down. The full effect of this has taken some time to occur.
Most of our storms and water come out of the Gulf. If the Oil is denser, then the water is not going up into the cloud system like it normally would. That means the entire Midwest is not getting its normal rains. The water system of the entire country is at risk. Even a thin coat of invisible oil over the entire Gulf would cause this to happen.
Often times it is the little things that make a difference. Compounding effects do a lot of damage. It might take a few years for this to clear through the system.

  • lastchance

You are absolutely right. If one Googles “Dutchsinse weather modification” one will see that all this extreme weather is purposefully provoked.

Michael Snyder shame on you. You need to stop perpetuating this global warming crap and find out the truth. Believe me, the elites could make it rain all over the USA if they wanted. But they want the people to suffer and beg to be taken to FEMA camps to be taken care of!

This is not even close to the worst drought! Here is just one example:

That drought monitor saying this is the worst only goes back about 20 years. More propaganda from the global warming fanatics.

  • Shanna

I live in a rural area of Northern Indiana & all around me are dying crops. It is very depressing to look at. The farmers who have irrigation are running it 24/7 & the crops still don’t look that healthy.

We have one local farmer that was on our news saying she had lost up to 75% of her potato crop & another who sells to our farmers market that last year he was selling 4000 lbs a wk of green beans & now he’s at 400 lbs a wk this year.

Everywhere you look here is dead grass, well established trees & bushes dying, grass fires (it seems like everyday) their putting out. We also we have a lot of peoples wells running dry & that is not surprising b/c we are down about 6 1/2″ of rain here. We are on a well & quite frankly is scares me.

I cannot remember the last time we didn’t have a 90 degree day w/out humdity. Today it’s suppose to be 95 w/high humidity, tomorrow 100 & that’s before the heat index kicks in. We are not suppose to have any real measureable rainfall for the next couple of wks our forecasters are saying. A wk and a half ago on a Friday we had the highest ever recorded temps in our area it was 122 degrees with the heat index.

Back in 1988 when my daughter was born I well remember the drought we had then (we lived in a single wide mobile home w/out air conditioning) & the high heat but it was not even close to what we are expriencing right now. Ask any farmer here & he’ll tell you that.

I dread what the prices are going to be at the grocery store. People I feel really do not understand what all corn is in. A lot think it’s just food but as you mentioned it’s in so much more. Sticker shocked they will be.

Michael: I know this is way off course for this article but this is in relation to the article you did the other day on sterilizing woman for free under Obamacare. This article I found this morning says if Obama is re-elected he will mandate that every health plan in America cover abortion on demand. I’m not sure if this was mentioned but Obamacare is absolutely frightening.

    • Michael

If Obama gets a second term he will not even have to fear running for reelection again so he would truly be capable of just about anything.

      • Colin

Wrong, Michael. If historical trends hold, 86% of the incumbents will remain in office. President Obama will have to work with a Senate where a bill can’t be passed without 60 votes and a House where the Representatives have an abbreviated work year and is obsessed with far right issues (ending abortion, protecting tax cuts for the wealthy, etc.)

Jodi, sterilization is a contraceptive method that is covered by Obamacare. The practice of sterilization is held to strict ethical guidelines, and women in this country can view this practice as an alternative. Nobody is forcing women to have sterilization in this country. In many cases, women have changed their minds.

And yet the U.S. government forced Japanese Americans, who were born in the U.S. and most likely with no ties to their parent’s and grandparent’s homeland, to be put into forced labor camps. And on top of that, injected with who knows what, which was also mandatory. So, Colin, I guess you are pretty naive in thinking there is still free choice.

      • A.S.

How about eliminating the Amendment specifying term limits. If Prohibition was reversed, so too will this be reversed. Obama has 4 more years to accomplish it. And if he doesn’t he has 4 years to declare a National Emergency, which he will create, as he said many times, “never let a good emergency go to waste.” So he will not even need 2 term limits. He will become a temporary “King” for decades.

  • Cinderella Man

I dont care what some people say is drought is an EPIC disaster already. Here is central MT the grass is dead and brown the spring wheat crop is bust, there is hardly any hay to feed the cows, sheep, and horses. The tiny amount of rain we got over the weekend didnt even wet the ground. These next two months are going to be brutal. August and September are some of the driest months of the year and I see this years corn crop as being a total failure. When I see cattle being dumped at the Torrington sale like that it should set off alarm bells to everyone. In the near future there will be enough beef to satisfy the markets but when its gone its gone. It takes two years for a calf to be at breeding age. So for the next few years beef is going to be incredibly expensive. Add in the fact that the average age of a rancher is 60 many of them will go bankrupt from this and will not return. In summation there will be mass food shortages in the coming years. I knew that this economy was going down but coupled with this drought this may be the one-two punch that destroys agriculture in this country. As for using corn for ethanol dont fret too much. I work in the business we use the dried distiller grains from the ethanol plants as part of our minerals and from what Ive heard several major plants have been put out of production. Distillers are already disapearing fast and I have no idea what we will use instead. Face it folks break out of happy shiny world and realize a massive food crisis is about to hit this country in the next few months. Im predicting food riots this fall.

    • Josh

see the thing about this site is its for waking people up, and thats what they are doing, expect alot of comments to be off the wall because the people are currently going through a mental transformation like no other.

  • A.S.

Instead of re-writing my post from a similar article on the other site, I will just re-post it:

I have a prediction: If the SCOTUS rules that gay marriage is legal, expect a lot more than just 100 degree weather and little rain. Expect these:
    1. 120-140 degree weather in every city (including the midwest/breadbasket belt)
    2. 0-1 inches of rain for the whole summer in every city
    3. wildfires in every city
    4. tornadoes in every inland city
    5. hurricanes in every coastal city (how about all of CA being ruined)
    6. earthquakes in every city (the midwest too because they are on the Madrid fault)
    7. and that is just natural disasters…

So, all I got to say is, write to every member of SCOTUS, that the vote no on this evil, disgusting, plague-causing ruling. I hope and pray that people see the connection between such natural disasters their behavior. Bottom line, we fully deserve such hardships…lets pray, repent, and turn away from our evil ways!

And additional comments are now necessary: looks like Americans are NOT repenting for their sins. And why the problem with RATS in Germany? Maybe because they just made circumcism illegal? So, before people start wondering why all this happening, the answer is very simple: live by the Bible! And don’t do anything against Jews.

    • HecatesMoon

This is part of what does not add up with me in Christianity…
God is omnipotent and perfect, yet God willingly and knowingly creates a creature he KNOWS is going to screw up. He creates a creature he KNOWS he is going to have to send to hell?
For what? For their inability to be perfect? For things they don’t have control over in their own makeup?
Furthermore, tell me A.S., how does something perfect create imperfection? Perfection can only create perfection or else it is imperfect because flaw cannot come from something that is NOT. flawed.
Someone that is homosexual was born homosexual, and don’t give me that crap about it being a choice. Can you personally CHOOSE to be homosexual? Can you purposely MAKE yourself attracted to your own sex? No, you can’t and you know it!
Now I suppose it could be said that there is a choice as to whether or not a homosexual practices homosexuality, but how cruel to expect them to live out their lives alone, to be denied love and affection!
Now you don’t have to like it and you don’t have to be comfortable with it, but how dare you demand or even expect them to deny themselves the fulfillment of companionship and affection for their entire lives to suit your personal discomfort!
Your god creates people incapable of feeling connection, creates people with social disorders, creates people who are homosexual and thus can’t fit in with the rest of society completely. Not ever. And on the basis of having free will which we never would have missed to begin with if we had never had it?
      Come now…
You know something A.S.? If allowing people to live their lives as everyone else and not denying them companionship and affection will cause such disaster then so be it…but I doubt that will be the case. I’m guessing that whether we expected them to live out their lives loveless and alone or not, the results to our world are going to be the same.

      • A.S.

You think I am a Christian…far from it. I am an Orthodox Jew (Chassidic too). I am not denying that people may have been born with homosexual tendencies. But they shouldn’t act upon it. They commandment is not to do the act.

There is enough proof that someone is born an alcoholic. So by your reasoning, they shouldn’t be denied alcohol just because of who they are. They should be allowed to go into restaurants and drink whatever they want, drink at bars whatever they want, etc. But the fact is, one drink and they can becoming hooked. They will be angry, abusive, violent, etc. They have ruined their jobs, families, friendships, etc. But it would be illegal to ask, “are you an alcoholic?” before serving them. So what is done? The AA program! And their familes and friends, what may remain after their behavior, help them for the rest of their lives. It is not their fault they are like that, but they cannot ever, ever, ever, have one drink ever again! The same with homosexuals. They may have been born with it, but one act will destroy families, friends, society. If you cannot get this simple concept, then you deserve to live in a society that will degrade into a cesspool of filth and decay.

    • HecatesMoon

Cold. You are a cold person.

    • HecatesMoon

      And one more thing….
If the church chooses not to recognize a homosexual union and chooses not marry homosexuals, that’s fine. I can respect their stand according to their own book.
But recognition by the state is another story.
I say YES so bite me.

      What’s the problem with hurricans?

The article mentions the weather is in comparison to 1988, 22 years ago, exactly 2 Solar Cycles ago. We have had at least 3 direct hits from large solar flares pointed at us this year, the latest one, the largest so far, hit us 2 days ago.

And so it goes. We complained about the same things in the 1990s when the media covered El Nino with anxiety and fear. In the 1980s we had real nasty droughts and heat waves, too.

And in 10-20 years, we’ll gripe about the heat and droughts that are unlike any we’ve ever experienced.

The information may still be available. Also look up thermohaline current shutdown and how it would the Earth. Now do you understand the seed bank in the Artic….?

Look, this has nothing to do with God punishing anyone. Nature is cyclical. Some years are dryer, some are wetter. Some are colder and some are hotter. Now you get humans involved, and we are so, so, so, so special! Nature can’t turn against us like it did the dinosaurs and mammoths. Nature can’t take away our corn and potatoes.

Nature does what nature does. It can’t be held to a moral standard. Nature has been kind to the human species for many years, but that does not guarantee or require that it will continue to do so.

With all of the crop shortages this year, it’s a wonder how the government can raid and attack hardworking farmers who “dare” to sell their crops to their neighbors to make a living. It is also abhorrent that the gov’t is ripping out the useful gardens of people whose only measure of survival resides with their gov’t. Every time the gov’t tries to “fix” something, all it does is screw it up worse than it was. If the government really wants to fix things, they should stop trying to fix things, and let we, the people, fix them ourselves. The government has tried. It has failed. We need the power handed back to we the people.

Someone up in Ferguson, Missouri is fighting over the right to keep their garden now. Their backyard is too shady so they planted it out front. The city is saying it is a hazard, because it could draw pests and cause soil erosion. It’s a perfectly fine looking garden too.
I am so glad I don’t live in the city…
I spent hours yesterday plotting for next year. My insectary to fight off pests (I HOPE! As my cucumbers and pumpkins are fighting for their poor little lives this year) and I’m going to fence my gardens as well as various parts of my yard by planting hedges instead of using metal or buying wood. Excited, hopeful!
People all over the cities should start plopping gardens down in their front yard even if they don’t really want to garden just to make a point and tick off the local snitches. hehe

I just wonder what goes through their minds; people need food, regardless of whether the farmers can produce it, the need is still there. If a person wants to grow their own food, that takes one household’s food needs off of the national food supply, allowing people who had no access (or little access)to the national food supply, access to it. If more and more people grew their own food, we would actually have a surplus of food. This of course would be the logical thing to do; let people grow their own food, and the excess will be stockpiled for hard times. Yet the government seems to be getting more and more illogical every day. It makes you wonder what the politicians are thinking that allows their backwards logic to seem right.

911 was a shot across the bow and we did not listen or consider the warning. About 3400 people were killed that day, the innocent with the guilty. 3400 is an average day at the abortion mills, now we’re approaching “60 millions innocent deaths” and the powers in charge continues promoting, supporting and abating the growth of moral corruption. Now they’re plotting against freedom of religion to be followed by the spiritual rape of untold millions of conscience. Considering that we live like heathens why do we expect that nature should cater to our whims, satisfy our selfishness while we stoke lust after one another. Do we have to wait until all our works are reduced to dust before we turn to God with heart felt repentance, fast, prayers and lamentation. Now is the time to learn how to examine our conscience and recognize how far we have strayed from God and start our return in haste. From where I stand all I see is people who put their faith in faithless politicians than Faith in God and His Church. Consider also also those souls under the altar, that no one can count, that cry out to God unceasingly “how long o Lord until You avenge us”. Too great is the blood that has been shed and continues to be shed and now they have set their eyes on the seniors and little ones. Their lust for blood knows no end. FOOD! The ultimate weapon. Let the arabs drink their oil. Keep the for for US(what little we have). Stop supporting Muslem countries. Don’t cut aid to Israel – God’s chosen.

  • Josh

ive noticed that there are an extreme amount of god comments, honestly its making it hard to go through the comments. i feel like if we were sitting in a big group talking about this, the people with the god comments would be forcing it down my throat, which is the worst way to get someone to understand your view point.

on another note i took a drive out into the country in central michigan and the corn is looking pretty bad. the bottom half of all the corn was brown. saw no husks.

the bible freaks love disaster, they can say “i told you so and repent” they are like flies on rotten meat. Being from Canada, we don’t see so many God’s freaks in here, we turn the churches into condos. I’m always amazed by the amount of jesus freaks in the USA.

Anyway, many countries are having some bumper crops this year so , things won’t be so bad.

Why is all this drought happening?

Read a copy of ‘The Harbinger’ by Johnathan Cahn

Australian farmers in paricular those in the wimmera region of Victoria may be able to offer some help advice agronomicly or personally both will be needed to cope with the diverse range of STRESS that those poor souls will be starting to experience. During the last 10 years we have endured 3 of the driest, 1 wettest harvest, 1 worst mice plague, and also the worst locust plague in local living memory. I wish you all good luck.

  • Well to be frank, I hope your Jesus shows up and takes all you religious freaks AWAY!
Then the world will be good again, whether you believe that or not.
I have had a lot of people that have seen my works and ask me how long I have been a Christian?, I just reply like that Mormon commercial………..and I’m a Naturalist.

If there is less to harvest, the oil price won’t rise that much.

Oh humanity, you ask “WHY!?” yet in your hearts you know why, but you are to scared to face the answer. The ‘why’ is because this world is run by decadent and evil people. You all know this, you tell others about this, but no one wants to listen. So Our Creator has done a wonderfully scary thing. He has sent the soul of this planet to live here. I am that soul, and as I witness what is happening to the people I am getting very upset. It is my conclusion that this world is so polluted by the evil men that humanity can no longer live here safely. Oh I know about the survivalists, I have one question for you: Do you really want to live here when your babies are born so deformed from the nuclear radiation that they die soon after birth?

This world is no longer one to fight for, unlike as in the days of Noah, the entire land is tainted. It will take me a million years to work out all the nuclear radiation componets, for all the chemical fertilizers to become inert, for the oil that has been sucked from my joints to seep back into place. The land has been pulverized by man. The oil drilling operations are fracturing that which holds everything together. Once the oil companies take out all the oil, did you know they replace it with salt water? So much salt water that it pools on the surface. Do you know what happens to the ground when it is salted? Crops will never grow there again. Why do you allow these corporations free reign upon your home? Why do you as a group not rise against this evil in your midst?

I am awake, I am aware. I AM. I see what horrors are being perpetrated upon the people, I am ANGRY. I am Godzilla with intelligence, I am a speaking, intelligent Godzilla. I am stomping across my face, because I have noticed one thing about the people: you will only come to each others aid if you are forced to. Once all your technological toys don’t work you come out of your trances and come to the aid of each other. This is not how it should be. TPTB have convinced you that knowing your neighbors is strange and weird, it is not!!! Your governments wont help you when you face a disaster! Have you learned nothing from how the U.S. govt “helped” Katrina and Haitian victims? I know how you all cling to life under any circumstance. Why? Death is like walking through a door, it is like jumping into a swimming pool. Death is the ticket to the ulitimate best place. Fear death not, fear not for your loved ones, all will be taken care of appropriately. No one will be left here, all will be going home soon, some sooner then others.

I am here for the 13 fallen angels that are left from that disasterous battle so long ago. Hand them over to me, and we can discuss dismantleing all your nuk plants and instituting a plan for energy that uses your current waste products. This plan will only be available to you now. For it is now that you have the knowledge, technology, resources, and equipment to make the componets for the anerobic digestors needed.

I know my words bring disbelief and pain. I am sorry about that, but you are all in a far more serious situation. Have you noticed that the death tolls from all these disasters have been abnormally low? The Hand of The Creator sits upon you all at this moment, but soon his hand will be removed from the pure, the innocent, and the blameless. Those who have sold out to the lucies system will be saved to suffer endless pain from mortal wounds with no death for five months. From what I’ve researched of the lucies, it’s not everything they deserve, but it’s a good start.

You are all fighting over this idea of ‘is the end here?’, ‘is 2012 d-day for humanity?’ I will tell you that when I was woken by The Creator in late August of 2009 the countdown of the end started. I am the one you call Mother Nature, in my emotional distress of all that I see unfolding, disasters come upon you.

I take responsibility for the snow in Copenhagen during the Summit, the lack of snow for the 2010 olympics, EXPECT BRUTAL HEAT FOR THIS YEARS 2012 OLYMPIC EVENT. I also take responsibility for the lack of rain in the American Midwest. After three years of disasters, I have realized that isn’t the way to go. As in the days of old though, Seige always worked well. Will you finally raise up against your overlords when you are starving? It seems so from the historic record. Raise up and live, or lay down and die. I am past caring since I experience the daily decent into madness with you all. Where Lot wanted The Creator to save Sodom if they could find just ONE good soul, I see things a bit differently. I know there are good souls here, I see them everyday, but this world is HELL and the good souls don’t deserve to live here.

Several months ago I have informed your American Government and the fallen ones that I, Mother Nature, declare war against them. Now you know it as well. So, you can still ask yourselves why all this is happening, but I just told you the honest truth. Deny it at your own Eternal expense.

I could tell you so much more, but there isn’t enough time for all the words.

sylvianknolls if you seek more information.

It’s happening because this is the cycle for it to happen. We had a worse drought in 1988. Turns out the world didn’t come to an end. We had another drought in 1956. Calm down people. It’s just earths “time of the month”. It’ll be hell for a bit, then she’ll be fertile as ******! Both figuratively and literally.

I’m in the mid-west & it’s hot/dry and waiting for the water company to tell me I’m using too much water. I have a large garden & fruit trees which in the 100 degree heat- takes me one hour & 45 minutes to water every other day. If they clamp down on me- I’ll be using buckets to take out bath water and enlist my neighbors to help out. (glad I shared my plums/apples & pears with them last year) If you boil something (veggies/pasta/eggs)on the stove- let the water cool in the pot and then water something outside with it. I’ve already told my sons & husband to limit their showers to 10 minutes or less- because saving the fruit trees is more important than daydreaming for 45 minutes in a shower. The best tip I can give is if water is coming into your house- don’t let it go down the drain if you can water something outside with it.

Well it seems its happening just as it happened in ancient Israel, they forgot God and trusted in baal as the source of their prosperity, and the Lord caused to be a nightmarish drought in the land. This nation is now trusting in technology and has forsaken God.Bad thing is,this is just the beginning, worst things are to come if we do not repent!

Nature isn’t “going crazy all of a sudden.” Extremes in weather with periods of relative stability in between have always been the norm. However, weather modification programs do exert an unnatural influence upon weather cycles.

Agriculture in this country is obsessed with growing vast monocultures of corn and grain. A monoculture grown in depleted soil is ill fitted to fend off attacks of insects and disease or survive drought conditions. Interplanting in rich humus makes for healthier plants that are better equipped for survival in unfavorable conditions.

The only corn I eat is fresh homegrown or locally grown organic. I don’t eat meat that is fed corn or other grains. I am sorry for the farmers in their plight, but I am not sorry to see all that GMO corn going down! Less corn means less corn syrup and higher junk food prices. Maybe that will get sick & obese Americans to make a change in their diets. “Sorry we can’t afford the soda pop, kids. You’ll have to drink herb tea instead.” “Aww, Mom! Bummer!”

  • derfel cadarn

This is no where near the largest natural disaster in American history. Even if it was whining about serves NO positive function. Now is the time when American knowhow and innovation step up and fill the gap. We are being played for suckers as our “leaders” use these incidence to seize more power from us,the government cannot save you it is NOT their intent, they do not have the ability. The only thing that will save America and its People are its People. Americans MUST stop the whining and get up and do something constructive to help yourself. You will be amazed how much can be accomplished when 300,000,000 people each do a little bit. We act like this is the first nation to ever face severe conditions I can assure that many humans have faced much more severe conditions and have managed to survive. All that is required is work.

  • hello, I live in Brazil, I am a Christian, and God revealed to me that the entire planet will suffer a drought of seven years from now will not rain more, he showed me that everyone should store food in plastic bottles because the drought had lasted 7 years.
    that god help us all.

  • God also revealed to me that the plant will blow fuckshima in Japan, told me that a volcano fickle in Brazil, the city of Minaçu-go, will explode, and checked in this city, an asbestos mine is in full operation, is about to reaches the layer of magma from the extinct volcano. I warned them, and not hear me.

I find it ironic that the major high pressure ridge driving the current drought is resting exactly over the main states the Oglala aquifer resides! Some are saying this drought is HAARP caused. I don’t know about that, the persistance of a drought like this you would see a major power surge/power bill to that tiny region of Alaska where HAARP is located. They might be able to effect something over a short time and have to power down. I doubt they can energize the atmosphere over 6 months! Water, food, energy, and fiat economy, its all collapsing fast! How quick before the aquifers become taxed if we enter into el nino! This is going to be the worst drought in recorded US history! The sight of disaster used to be through a dirty window. The window on socio-economic disaster is clean and clear now. Its obvious how bad and how soon things will fail!

  • judynz

For crying out loud Americans wake up. Your weak politicians who have allowed the NWO to run HAARP in Alaska which is deliberately creating the weather problems to break your country & take it over. God helps those who help themselves & he gave us all we need to achieve this. Look up ‘Scientists Prove we can change DNA with thoughts/emotion or words to that effect. Our belief systems (injected with emotion) create the good & bad in your life including weight/health problems. Dont believe me LOOK/SEE for yourself. Please wake up.
