Something Big Coming In 2016?: Five Prominent Watchmen Issue Exceedingly Ominous Warnings

Planet Earth Globe Ominous - Public DomainIs a great shaking about to hit America?  Is 2016 going to turn out to be one of the major turning points in our history?  On The Economic Collapse Blog and End Of The American Dream, I am constantly warning my readers about what is coming, but today I want to shift the focus to what other watchmen are telling us.  And as you will see below, when I use the term “watchmen” I am also including women.  All five of the individuals that I am featuring in this article are people that I highly respect, and all five of them have issued extremely ominous warnings about our future.  So hopefully you are ready to receive what you are about to hear, because their messages are not to be taken lightly.

 

Firstly, I want to share with you a recent interview with a wonderful lady named Glenda Jackson.  She is the founder of Glenda Jackson Ministries, and she has been sounding the alarm since 1974.  She doesn’t know this, but she has impacted my life in a powerful way, and I would love to meet her in person someday.

Even though many people didn’t want to listen, Glenda warned that Barack Obama would be elected in 2008 and she warned that he would be re-elected in 2012.  But according to her, this coming election will be even more ominous.  In this interview that was posted on YouTube, she expresses her belief that this will be “one of the worst elections we have ever had”.  In fact, she says that “it would not shock me at all if someone got killed in this election.”  She is convinced that the events of the next six months will eventually result in martial law being imposed in America, and that “things are going to turn upside down” in this nation…

Another watchman that has just issued a very ominous warning is Chuck Pierce.  I once saw him speak at a conference down in Arizona, and the very specific things that he is saying about the next six months are more than a little bit chilling

On Saturday morning (April 23) I shared what the Lord is saying to us for this season.  We have now crossed over into a time that will determine our future.  Starting April 25, through October 20, it will be the most tumultuous, confusing time this nation has known in over 160 or 170 years.  I want you to know how you are connected in the Body of Christ, and that the Body of Christ will not be the same. This is a time that America determines its future.  But also understand that this is a time that the Kingdom of God and those leading it move into their next identity.

To say that it will be “the most tumultuous, confusing time that this nation has known in over 160 or 170 years” is quite a bold statement.

So why would our nation be shaken so dramatically?

Well, many watchmen are pointing to the great sin in our land.  On April 27th, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn had another opportunity to deliver a message to national leaders on Capitol Hill.  What he had to say about sin, revival and the parallels between ancient Israel and modern America was quite stirring.  You can view the entire address on YouTube right here

Another Christian leader that is being very bold in speaking out about sin and the coming judgment of America is Anne Graham Lotz.  She is probably best known for being Billy Graham’s daughter, but the truth is that she has become a very powerful evangelist in her own right.  And her message for this hour is that “God is backing away” from America because of our sin…

Commenting on the moral state of America and God’s judgment on sinful nations, evangelist Anne Graham Lotz, the daughter of pastor Billy Graham, said America is imploding “morally and spiritually,” that God is removing His “blessing and protection” from us, leaving us to our sins, and that this encroaching judgment is evident in the chaos of the political scene, the economy, and even the weather.

“Romans 1 describes the type of judgment where we sin, and we refuse to repent of our sin, then He backs away from us,” said Anne Graham Lotz in a recent interview on CBN News with host Mark Martin.  “He removes Himself from us and He turns us over to ourselves. That’s what I think I see in America. I believe we’re entering into that phase of judgment, where God is backing away.”

Sadly, most people don’t understand what this means.  We aren’t just going to experience a couple of weeks of bad news.  When judgment fully comes to America, our nation is going to be brought to its knees, and life as we know it is going to be totally transformed.

Just consider what another very prominent watchman is saying.  Heidi Baker is one of the founders of Iris Ministries, and she is deeply respected all over the world.  Her work with the poorest of the poor in Africa is already legendary, and she is a woman that absolutely exudes the love of Jesus Christ.  If I had to select just a handful of people in the world that I wished that I could be more like, she would be one of them.  Through deeply sacrificial love, her ministry is transforming entire regions of Africa, and that is why the ominous message that she has for America is especially alarming.  According to her, she was shown that a horrible famine is coming to this country

I saw bread lines, soup kitchens, and I saw people wearing beautiful clothing. Their clothing was not worn out. Now in my nation when people are hungry you can tell. I mean they are in shredded rags. They don’t have shoes or they have flip flops. Most of them [have] no shoes. They are hungry and they know they are hungry. They come for food, not because they are beggars, but because they are hungry.

Because of her long experience in Africa, she understands what starvation is very well, and she is warning that it won’t be too long before the same kind of starvation that she has seen in Mozambique shows up here in the United States…

I have held starving children in my arms. I know what starvation is. I know what pain is. I know what suffering is. But in this vision that I had that was in your nation, my nation, which the Lord is helping me to say, I will identify with America as well as Mozambique.

All of us that are watchmen only have a few pieces of the puzzle.  Personally, my wife and I are doing our very best to sound the alarm about what is coming through our websites, our books, our DVDs, and our new television show.  Time is short, and most of the country is still dead asleep.

If what these watchmen are saying is true, America is headed directly for the greatest shaking that any of us have ever experienced.

That means that “normal life” in the United States is about to come to an abrupt end, and the way that virtually everyone has been envisioning the future is dead wrong.

So are these watchmen right?

      What is a watchman? Isn’t that a comic book character? The entire world seems detached from reality. Everything is zombies, vampires, super heroes with super powers, etc.

        A Watchman is someone chosen / appointed / selected by God to be both a witness and a herald of things that our sins and the
        “times” will bring upon our individual lives and nation. A Watchman does not choose this for him or herself.. no person would desire to truly be such a person. It leads one to be considered as an outcast or at best a weirdo. It leads one to many sleepless nights and heartfelt prayers. It is painful, for you see the danger that is coming and you know you are one who must issue warning; whether it is heeded or not; usually, but not always, the warning is not heeded. But a true Watchman must and will sound the alarm, speak the Truth, seek to reach those that can be reached.. because it is what they are. Like a bird is a bird; it did not choose it nor can it be anything other than what it is. So is a Watchman… and though it is a painful and fearful thing, they would not want to be other than that.. for it is what they are. So there you have my answer to your question; whether you truly wanted an answer is questionable; but you have one none the less… do with it as you please.

The rioting, killing of police like theres open season on them and anarchists movements like black lives matter runs rampant.         I respectfully come to you with all honesty and love. THERE IS NO pre-tribulation rapture. Read Jesus’ own words on the subject in Matthew 24, mainly verses 29 – 31, but by all means read the whole passage in context.
        The apostles ask about the second coming and Jesus tells of what we will see. I say that anyone who mistranslates these verses as something other than what Jesus said is leading to the great falling away and spreads a doctrine of demons…
        When the pre tribulation rapture doesn’t happen, will you lose your faith? Since you put so much hope in the false doctrine – your faith will be tested. And what about others that you told about the pre trib rapture, will they throw away their faith also.
        Acts 14:22 “we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God.”
        The truth is that we need to live every day righteously, as if we will die that day and face God. We must be fully faithful and know that if we must go through the great tribulation – we shall and prosper in our faith until death if necessary. Jesus died for you, will you be willing to die for him if he asks?
        EVERYONE save one or two in the history of the world has died. It is vane to think that you wont, complete vanity to think that you will be raptured up before you die.

          Michael, thank you for bringing this verse into the conversation. As a Christian, I have struggled with the thought of the pre-tribulation rapture. Do I pray that it is true? Absolutely. But as I read Matthew 24…specifically verses 4 – 13, I am interpreting Jesus as He says the “elect” will be persecuted and put to death because of Him. Am I interpreting that correctly? And then in verse 22, Jesus mentions the “elect” again, as if we will still be here when He returns.
          Thank you for any guidance. I think this one issue has split so many Gospel believing churches and isolated so many Christians from the church.

            I am grateful to God that I may have offered you some understanding on the subject. My understanding when taking the Bible as a whole into consideration is, the elect are those going to heaven of ALL Jews and gentiles, ALL of which some will need to be purified through very difficult times in the tribulation (because of not being totally committed in their walk with God) and those walking righteously before God will be protected through the tribulation. Those protected will be the few who will make it till the end of the tribulation. Don’t forget that all those who sleep will arise first and then those left here alive will rise into the air. All living and dead included in the “elect” will meet Jesus Christ in the air after the tribulation.
            How many do you know who believe, but don’t live fully committed in truth? How many are lukewarm? In my estimation – most of the “Christians” in America today are not fully committed to live according to God’s truth. Many might think that they do but many will find that they didn’t know truth. MATTHEW 7:22-23
            My understanding is that ALL alive at that time will be forced to make a clear decision: To be fully committed to Jesus Christ, or decide to fall away.
            Please think about all of those souls that will be lost when the persecution and mark of the beast comes into place. How many who consider themselves “Christians” who believed in the pre – tribulation rapture will lose all faith in Jesus Christ.
            Why – because of a doctrine of demons that sets up otherwise good people who have a heart for God, to put their faith in a fairy tale – and so many see it as the easy way out and want to believe so badly that they will be ok, that they just chose to believe – most of which is never checked thoroughly with scripture.
            Salvation is not of human death – it is salvation of eternal damnation.

            Thanks, I agree with you about believers enduring to the end, per Jesus’ words. Look at all of the people who have died for the name of Christ in the world in the last 30 years. It is more than in all of Christian history put together. I do believe that if a person truly has a personal relationship with God through faith and reception of Jesus’ gift of the Cross for the forgiveness of sin, then Philippians 1:6 applies, “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus”, also, Paul’s statement, “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIm, until that Day.”

            My hope is that all those who are walking righteously through the Tribulation will all be protected as it APPEARS to state in Ezekiel 14:12-14 & 19-21. In ALL honesty, only God knows if any one of us are walking in the righteousness of Job, Noah, and Daniel, who are the three examples GOD gave of those who would be delivered from the Tribulation!

            As to everything else you have mentioned, I am in full agreement that the Word of God teaches such things!!

            The “elect” is one group of people but those within it may have different destinies. The Greek word translated as “many” could also have been translated as “most” ( Brown Driver Biggs Hebrew Lexicon-BDB) in Matthew 24:5 &10. Please read Michael Snyder’s book, “The Rapture Verdict”. It will clear up a lot of issues.
            Disclaimer- I have not read it (it is on order), but I do know by various interviews he has given what his position is on the “rapture”. He is correct, and Biblically so!

          A good principle to remember is, whenever Christ’s Return is spoken of in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, it is never the Rapture; but, rather, the return of Christ at the conclusion of the Tribulation to judge the nations. The Rapture was a mystery, revealed unto the Apostle Paul after the Church Age had begun (Ephesians 3:1-10). The Church does not go through, or into, the Tribulation period.

            Good principles to remember when we attempt to interpret Scripture are the tests God gave to us that we must apply before developing our doctrines and teaching them to others;
            1. Man is to live by EVERY word that comes from the mouth of God and EVERY word is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness so all of His people can be throughly furnished for every good work. (Deut 8:3, 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
            2. By the mouth of two or three witnessess, that agree, facts are established. (Deut. 17:6, Mt. 18:16, 1 Cor. 13:1)

            3. We are commanded not to ADD to God’s Word or to SUBTRACT from it, or we will receive all the curses written in the Book (Deut. 4:12, Rev. 22:I)
            4. Any doctrine, including the rapture, must be found in the beginning of Scripture as well as the end, and be revealed to His servants the prophets (at least 2 or more, see #2). (Is. 46:9b-10, Rev. 10:7, & Amos 3:7).
            5. There is only one nation that comprises God’s people- Israel, and Israel, including the house of Judah are the recipients of “the New Covenant”. (Ex. 12:37-38, Eph. 2:11-12, Jer. 31:31 see also verses 35-37. Ez. 37:15-23, Mt. 10:6, John 10:14-16) Did Jesus not know who He was sent to?
            6. There is only one Law for ALL of God’s people. ( Lev. 24:22, 1 Cor. 1:10. Eph. 4:4, and especially see Mt 12:25 where Jesus says a house divided against itself can’t stand.
            (The US has different laws for different nationalities and so is divided against tiself- it will not stand! We can see this principle in action- TODAY! Do we really think God doesn’t understand this truth? That He actually has one set of rules for the Jews and a different one for Gentiles? Read Romans 2:26-29)
            7. God is immutable, He does not change: and Jesus doesn’t either. (Mal. 3:6, Heb. 13:8)
            The point? If we knew what God’s Word teaches and we applied these “tests” God gave us to determine if something our (Scripturally ignorant) pastors and theologians tried to teach us really lined up with God’s Word, we would have to throw out most of their doctrines, including a pre-trib rapture. If Paul, a NT writer, is the only person people think taught this doctrine, or is the only one who teaches God did away with His OT Law, it is a false doctrine according to these 7 tests for Truth!!

            Delusional thinking is very difficult to break.
            The second coming and the rapture are part of the same event. You can continue to believe the fairy tail – however you need to get hard into prayer, loose all preconceived ideas and start over in your studying of the word on these subjects. Don’t try to do it on your own – the Holy Spirit is the one who will open the word up for you and show you truth. Stay away from teachings and books by people if you want truth. Otherwise it is very likely that you will never find the truth. God Bless you in your journey.

            The Rapture takes place BEFORE the Tribulation, and then 7-years later the Lord returns to the earth with all the saints who were Raptured.

            A Pretribulation Rapture is the only thing that makes sense. Why would the Lord Rapture the saints after the Tribulation, at the same time He is returning to the earth to set up His millennial kingdom in Jerusalem? Clearly, the Rapture must occur separately from the Second Coming.

            A good thing to remember is that the Word of God gives very SPECIFIC instructions concerning the development of proper Biblical doctrine:
            1. God’s Word is the ONLY Authority- (Deut. 8:2-3), which Jesus quoted to the devil and 2 Timothy 3:16-17 which states the [entire] Word of God is profitable for “teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness”, to completely furnish the man of God for “every good work”!
            Paul was reminding Timothy the Old Testament Word was good for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:14-15.)
            2. God’s Word says facts are established by TWO or MORE Witnesses that AGREE- (Deut. 17:6-Moses, Mt. 18:16-Jesus, ! Cor. 13:1-Paul). Who besides Paul taught what you are claiming?
            3. God;s Word says we can’t ADD to His Words or SUBTRACT from them (Deut. 4:2, and Rev. 22:18-19. Where are the plain teachings of the apostles and prophets of what you claim? Don’t add to or take away from their words!!
            4. God’s Word says He declares the begining from the end and reveals His secrets unto His servants, the prophets. (Is. 46:9b-10, Rev. 10:7, and Amos 3:7) Where are the two comings of Christ in Scripture, one for His Bride and a separate one to judge the inhabitants of the earth, and where are these two seen in the begining of scripture and what two OT prophets spoke of these two events, besides Paul (as you claim), and spoke of these events?
            5. There is only one nation God has chosen to be His people -Israel. Paul agrees and Jesus said, “I am only sent to the lost house of the sheep of Israel!” ! (Jer. 31:31, Ez.12:37-38, 37:15-23, Mt. 10:6, Eph. 2:11-12.)
            Did Jesus lie? Any doctrine developed must incorporate israel to be the center of the affection God has to establish His representaion on the earth. God chosen to work through Israel to manifest his presence on the earth; NOT the Church, though the church may be a part of Israel, IF they join the covenant of Abraham (Eph. 2:11-12), Isaac, and Jacob (Israel)!
            6. There is one Law for ALL of God’s people- (Lev.24:22, 1 Cor. 1:10, Eph. 4:4-6, Mt. 12;25). The stranger and alien among you must abide by the same rules you abide by. Paul said there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, that comprises Christ. In the US today we have different laws for different nationalities or peoples of various orientations. This is not Biblical and Jesus said a house divided aganst itself shall not stand. Is He correct? Based on what you see in the nation, do you think He knew what He was talking about?
            7. God’s immutalitity- God does not change. (Mal 3:6 & Heb. 13″8) Does what you are putting out there indicate God has a special people who are exempt from the previous doctrines the Scriptures teaches? Certainly! You teach the Church does not have to abide by all of the other criteria God laid out in Scripture to be considered as those who belong to Him.
            Please take ALL of Scripture into account when you decide to instruct others about God and His ways! Your rapture doctrine is not suppiorted by Scripture!

            There is one character of tribulation that God’s children in this age will never have to know, and that is exposure to divine wrath.

            “God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

            We look for His return as our deliverer from the coming wrath.

            In 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18, we have the Rapture. Chapter 5 continues with Christ’s Return at the Rapture, assuring all Christians that they will be delivered from the Tribulation Period.

            Ther are others who have dealt with this issue of divine wrath on these pages. The 7 vials poured out on the earth in “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” are the “divine wrath” of God. We do not receive of these vials. In this you arre correct. However, equating the Tribulation period to wrath, as much of the Church does, is incorrect.

            The Tribualtion is a time of testing and discipline to bring God’s people back into the terms of the Covenant, terms given at Sinai. Moses explicitly writes in Exodus 6:1-8 that God is bringing them out to REESTABLISH the covenant given to Abraham with Abraham’s descendents.

            The Church teaches false doctrine when it teaches the Law given at Sinai is a completely new and separate covenant. Paul agrees with my statement in Galatians 3:15-18 when he writes the Law did not change one iota of the covenant God gave to Abraham.

            God’s Word says Abraham walked in God’s Law (Strong’s #8451-Torah), in Genesis 26:5. At Sinai, God was reminding and requiring, as the Sovereign to the vassels He had delivered from bondage, that they walk in the same path, obedience, Abraham had already walked and in a way which would honor the Sovereign among the nations. They refused when they told Moses that they could not endure God’s Word and that he should go up the mountain and listen to God for them.

            The devil, through men, has twisted the Scriptures (the pattern given in the Garden) so they are almost completly unrecognizable from what God intnded to do with Israel, and therefore us. We need to get our noses into the WHOLE book, not just the butt end, and ask God to give us a fresh look and understanding at what He said and leave the religious leaders to argue about their false doctrines, just as Jesus did with the religious leaders of His day. Most just want to control you and get your money, as Peter warned in 2 Peter 2! Paul warned of the same.

            “Whatever has been will be… there is nothing new under the sun.” You can only hold to your position by adding to and taking from God’s Word. Learning the Truth will set you free from bondage to lies and men!

            I urge you to get Michael Snyder’s book, The Rapture Verdict”, and read it carefully. The pre trib rapture fantasy was dreamed by a teenage girl in England in the 1850’s and picked up by a pastor who was eventually excommunicated from his assembly. I learned this at William Tyndale Bible College as a student.

            The Rapture will precede the 7-year Tribulation Period. The Bible plainly states that no man knows WHEN the Lord will return (Mark 13:32), which means that the Rapture MUST come before the Tribulation Period. The reason is because the Bible plainly states that the Second Coming of Christ will happen 3 1/2 years AFTER The Abomination of Desolation, i.e., when the Antichrist declares himself to be god and demands worship from the masses of the world (Mark 13:14; Daniel 9:27). So it will be KNOWN exactly how much time remains before the Second Coming, once the Antichrist declares himself to be god from the temple in Jerusalem. If you study the King James Bible at face value, you can only conclude a Pretribulation Rapture.

            “The Bible plainly states that no man knows WHEN the Lord will return” That is correct. Why? Not the reason you think!

            He returns on the day known as “The Feast of Trumpets” which is aka by the Israaelites as “The Day No Man Knows” but is known as the 1st of Tishri, the first of the seventh month. The reason no one knows that day is twofold: 1) Everyone who knows the Scripture and Hebrew culture argues about whether the first of the month occurs at the sliver of the new moon or the conjunction of it, and, 2) No one even knows for sure the exact day the ancient Hebrew calendar starts. If you don’t know the starting date, you can’t know the first of the seventh month, right?

            Rome, the empire, and the Catholics have played with the calendar and today’s calendar is not the same as the one God gave Moses and not even the one used at the time of Christ. God’s initial calendar has been lost. There is something you can research!

            We do know Jesus will return however, on The Feast of Trumpets. We do know in what “season” that day occurs.

            But what is the bigger issue? Christians don’t know HOW Jesus fulfilled and WILL fulfill prophesy. Jesus died as the Passover lamb on Nissan 14, was put into the ground at twilight Nissan 15, on Unleavened Bread. He rose on Nissan 17, the day of the Firstfruits offering. He poured out the Holy Spirit on Shavuot, or Pentecost, 50 days later, a Jubilee day. He returns to gather his elect on a specific Feast of Trumpets, 10 days later He judges the inhabitants of the earth at Armageddon on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, and 5 days later on the 15th of Tishri the marriage supper of the Lamb commences at Sukkot, or Tabernacles.

            If Jesus fulfill the first four festivals of God within a period of about 55 days, why would you believe He will fulfill the other 3, which all occur within 15 days, over a greater than 7 year period? It makes no sense at all and breaks the pattern already established by God. God is ALL about patterns! It is His way of communicatiing with us. If we learn these, we can see Him in so many things that occur and we will have a very good idea where we are on His timeline. We have a ways to go!! The rapture is not occurring for a number of years.

            Paul said in Colossians 2 we are not to let anyone judge us for keeping God’s Sabbaths, including His Festival days. (Lev 23) He said Jesus is the SUBSTANCE of those days; in other words, we are actually testifying of Jesus when we do what God said and observe these days!
            The devil doesn’t want people keeping those days because they are an “in his face”, reminder of his impending judgment. He has convinced people they should not obey God and keep the days He said we are to keep, days which He said are a “sign” (wedding ring) we belong to Him. I love to antagonize satan every year by reminding him of his destiny, according to God’s plan by obeying God! How about you?

            The Bible does teach that Christ is coming back to receive His saints, the Church. This event is very different than the Second Coming, or Advent, of Christ, when He visibly ascends down upon the earth and every eye beholds Him (Revelation 1:7). In sharp contrast, at the Rapture (or time when Christ comes for the saints), the saints will rise up into the air to meet the Lord. These are two very different events, with which any skilled Bible student will see.

            As stated below, this statement fails everyone of 7 tests Scripture gives to develop sound doctrine. Each of these tests is supported by statements made in both the OT and NT and the references are provided. The Bible is ONE book that does not contradict itself.

            You state this “mystery” was something revealed to Paul after the Church Age started, but Paul in 1 Cor. 13:1 stated facts are established by two or three witnesses and you have no other scriptural witnesses. I hold that this “mystery” is spoken of throughout the entire OT, and therefore fits the 7 criteria listed below.

            Only one of two conclusions is possible: Either, 1. You pick and choose what statements you hold to that Paul makes, rejecting those you don’t like, or 2. Paul is a liar sometimes and “skilled” Bible students are able to determine when he is lying and disregard the lying statements he makes. You know which one I believe.

            Copy this entire thread and take a look at it in 5, 10, and 15 years and see if you still agree with your current position.

            Here are some Scripture passages from which we can conclude a Pretribulation Rapture. The Days of Daniel (Daniel’s 70th week) plainly establishes the 7-year time period. Jesus called the last 3 1/2 years a time of “Great Tribulation” (Matthew 24:21,29). It is from these Scriptures that the word “Tribulation” is applied to the 7-year time period of Daniel’s 70th week. In Matthew 24:15 Jesus teaches about “The Abomination of Desolation” (the event when the false messiah, the Antichrist, proclaims to be God from the temple in Jerusalem). After The Abomination Of Desolation (Daniel 9:27), the False Prophet demands that the world worship the IMAGE of the Beast or be killed, Revelation 13:15). The event of The Abomination of Desolation marks the half-way point of the 7-years, or Tribulation period.

            That is all fine and dandy, but what does this have to do with a pre-tribulation rapture that occurs 3.5 years before the tribulation even begins (7 years before the return of Messiah)? That doctrine is not in Daniel nor in Mt. 24 and is therefore a made up doctrine.

            Fifty years ago, when I was a child, the doctrine the Church taught was that when the “Restrainer”, the Holy Spirit, is taken out of the way then the anti-christ will be revealed. Then someone finally discovered that there are many people that come to salvation during the Tribulation and this can only happen if the Holy Spirit is still around to “seal” believers. Then the docrrine developed that the Church is taken and the J_ws are left. How convienient!

            End time doctrine has been evolving for centuries and we do not have a complete understanding of it yet. That it revolves around the festivals of the LORD is indisputable, since these all reveal the entire work of Christ. Most Christians still have no idea of these since they think they belong to the J_ws but Leviticus 23 was given at Sinai to Israel, not just the J_ws who are only one tribe of Israel. Hold end time doctrine loosely and be willing to adjust your position as God reveals more.

            The strongest evidence in the Bible of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture (that is, the Biblical doctrine that Jesus Christ will return FOR the saints BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation period) is the PROPHESIED ELEMENT OF SURPRISE! Plainly, the Lord Jesus taught that NO MAN KNOWS THE TIME of His return. Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Luke 12:40, “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Anything other than a Pre-tribulation Rapture (in time of event) totally REMOVES this Biblical element of surprise.

          I agree. The pre-tribulation rapture is one of the biggest frauds perpetrated upon the church. Beware of study Bibles and the comments contained therein. You need to read and study the Bible on your own so that you need not rely on others to understand what God wants you to know. If you rely on others, you are susceptible to being led astray.

That isn’t to say that I could become familiar with them, but as with all preachers, prophets and anything that I read or hear, I am going to be a good berean and check it out in the bible. I am just being careful.. as all Christians should in these last days of the age.

      Agree! “The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus”, as the angel told John in Revelation. In Acts, the Holy Spirit used many believers through prophecy. This was for the edification of all, but all gifts of the Holy Spirit which are exercised will line up with Scripture, in context, and point to Jesus. Lots of well meaning but deceived people out there are claiming things to be of God when they’re not, or gifts are being practiced outside of the prescribed parameters. And then, there are many Christians who are absolutely being led by Him to share what He would have known, especially for guidance and strength. Every time a pastor gives a godly sermon, for example, we’re seeing the Holy Spirit at work, or when a Christian shares the gospel, etc. God is still using people, especially believers.

      Acts 11:27-28 “Now at that time some prophets [plural] came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. And one of them named Agabus [ a prophet] stood up and began to indicate by the Spirit there should be great famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius.” This was just after Peter went to the Gentiles.

      Acts 13:1- “Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets, and teachers…and Saul [Paul- who was a prophet also, as well as an apostle].

      Acts 15:32- “And Judas and Silas, being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brethren with a lengthy message.” This was probably about 46-48AD just after the Jerusalem Council.

      1 Cor. 14:29-32- “And let two or three prophets speak, and let the others [prophets also] pass judgment. But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, let the first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exorted; and the spirits of the prophets are subect to the prophets.

      Why is Paul giving instruction about how the prophets are to act in a gathering, if they don’t exist? I Corinthans was likely written about mid50’s AD, 20+ years after Jesus died and rose again! Jesus was certainly a prophet, “the Prophet like unto Moses”, who lived during and after John the Baptist!

      In Ephesians 2:20 Paul said the Church was built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. I heard one preacher say, who is also a prophet, the apostles are the general contractors for the building and the prophets are the building inspectors. It seems quit appropriate to me. Building inspectors look for areas of construction where things weren’t done according to “the Code”, God’s Word, and point these out so the errors can be corrected.

        Apostles had to be eyewitnesses to the Lord’s Resurrection… Luke 1:1-4, “Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, JUST AS THEY WERE HANDED DOWN TO US BY THOSE WHO FROM THE FIRST WERE EYEWITNESSES and servants of the Word. Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.”

          I’m not sure I understand what you are getting at, but I do know there are many today who reject Paul’s writings and call him a heretic simply becasue they are not able to reconcile his writings to what they think the restof Scripture says. Is this what you are getting at?
          In context, Peter was affirming that his audience was to pay attention to what Paul had to say: “Therefore beloved, since you look for these things [the new heavens and new earth, in verse 13] be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless, and blameless, and regard the patience of our Lord to be salvation ; JUST AS ALSO OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL, according to the wisdom given him , wrote you…” (2 Peter 3:14-15)Peter woud not call paul “beloved” and tell the people follow his example, if he considered Paul to be a heretic, would he?

    I have noticed that the voice of Yah inside me has been getting quieter and quieter for a couple of years. On Trumpets last year, Father asked me to climb the top of a hill and place a banner bearing his name and put it on the cross representing His Son’s that was at the top of the hill as a reminder of Whose Son He is. I have physical limitations, but I made it anyway with His strength. This came about after spending some alone time with Him in the mountains. On the way from the mountains, to the hill that I was to climb, He gave me a message…”The restrainer HAS BEEN removed and the birds are asking for meat.” I asked Him for a confirmation in a sign. I hadn’t seen any, what I call eagles, but they may or may not be, I don’t know, for almost a week. I asked Him, that if I understood His message correctly, that He would let me see an eagle that day. I started looking around as I was driving to the hill.

    As I rounded a corner at the base of the hill, 2 of the birds that I asked for were flying around above me. As I was climbing the hill, another showed up. As I neared the top, 4 were flying over my head. I will say at this point, that what He shows me or tells me, usually takes some time to manifest, but before long, many, many others are saying the same things, or the events start taking place.

    Somewhere around January, I had a dream. They are a lot rarer than they were a few years ago. In the dream, I was standing in a gray void to the right hand of the Father. He yelled at something I could not see, “GET OUT OF HERE!!!” He took His right hand and put it around the front of me and kind of scooped me around to His back. I know that I represent the Bride of Messiah in the dream. I am taking it as a warning and as a promise.

    For at least 3 years, Father has been telling me a certain series of events will take place. I believe it is Him telling me and I believe that it is the Truth so much that I have told Him that if they do not, in part at least, come to be, then I will have to shut my mouth because I have been listening to the wrong voice and instead of worrying about where other people’s souls are going, I will need to worry about my own.

    What I saw, what He has shown me is 2 9.2 earthquakes off the coast of California, with an ensuing tsunami so great that it comes into DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, AZ. Martial law will be declared, PRIOR TO THE ELECTION, so that BHO will stay in office. That, while we are distracted with our own problems, Iran will take the opportunity to nuke Israel and then….paint your own picture and use a broad brush.

    This election cycle has been by far the most violent and nastiest I have seen in my 60 years. Of course Obama has brought on the atmosphere by encouraging black poor people to go as far as even killing cops. Many innocent people have been brutally beaten by black gangs because of Obama condoning it. On the other side I see the white people getting fed up with this and their patience is about to run out. You have these two sides full of hatred ready to go at it when something happens and I believe it’s going to happen this election. We totally missed a God moment in not choosing Cruz, a King David, a man of God and choose instead Trump like King Saul. God always gives people choices and when they choose wrong it’s their own fault.

It seems this is much like the atmosphere that existed in Israel/Jerusalem just prior to the Temple destruction of 70AD. The people had become so poisoned towards each other that they were murdering one another and families were doing the same. “There is nothing new under the sun!” Those who don’t know history are bound to repeat it! The Romans came against them and the Russians will probably come against US, after we fight amongst ourselves.

            They sure are, and our physical suffering is going to pale in comparison to the spiritual destruction which will occur as people choose to worship evil and self and call it good and good, evil. All those sins which lead to death, (physical and spiritual) mentioned in the New Testament are being practiced increasingly. I believe the mental/verbal assent-only Christians (no matter how vocal or well known they are) are those who rely on their own power to do good, then, after repeated failure to live up to the Law, their lives begin to show the true state of their heart, that they never really had a personal relationship with God through faith. It’s faith which results in obedience, according to Romans. Have you heard of the Romans project? People are encouraged to read through Romans in one sitting (it takes an hour or two to read through carefully), and then do so again, as possible, at least 20 more times. I usually disagree with the formula idea, but think this one is well worth it. One of my favorite verses is Romans8:3&4. Of course, the whole Bible is wonderful, and I have several favorite books in it.

      “For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, and like a young lion to the house of Judah, I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away and none will be none to deliver. I will go away and return to My place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek me.” Hosea 5:14-15

      Did God lie? Did He not “go away and return to His place”? The key phrase is “until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face.” How many are doing this today?

      God scattered Ephraim for over 2700 years and Judah for nearly 1900 and many of those who have returned to the Land are now continuing to get in His face with their wickedness.

      Scripture clearly records for us that when the nation or people of God choose their own way after warning after warning, God will indeed turn His back on them and deliver them over to their enemies. This is really what Michael is warning us about with his articles and bringing out what the Spirit is saying to others. He is absolutely right! The day is coming when God is ONLY going to be for those who tremble, revere, honor, His Word above all else!

      (I test every prophesy against the Word, and with many, some here, it can’t be determined if it is a “Yes” or a “No”. I put it on the shelf, but don’t outright reject it. I remain alert to the possibility.)

      I know this truth about God’s character, that He does turn His back on His people at times, is rejected by many “feel-good, prosperity, Jesus just loves you to death” people sitting the churches today but it is not in accordance with God’s Word as spoken by the prophets, OT or NT. The Book of Lamintations is an example TO US of what is coming on God’s people befrore the return of Jesus. “Whatever has been will be…” We fail to understand the patterns in Scripture occur over and over.

      Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 10 that the things written about the children of Israel while journeying through the wilderness were written AS EXAMPLES for us so that we might not make the same mistakes they made and suffer the SAME discipline at God’s hand.
      The biggest tests for Israel came just BEFORE the people returned to the Land. That is the pattern! Jesus is coming back soon to take His people to His Land and we are in the biggest test of our lives! Will we hold fast to ONLY His Word, or prostitute ourselves for satanic light?

        The writer of Hebrews said, “For if we go on sinning willfully [defiantly continuing to break God’s Law] after receiving knowledge of the Truth [entering into the New Covenant- the same OT Law but with the blood of Jesus as the guarantee, rather than that of bulls and goats] there remains no longer a sacrifice for sin, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.” [Doesn’t sound like the writer is saying God grants grace in this situation, but rather He has specific expectation of certain behaviour which indicates one has joined oneself to His family!]
        “Any one who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy [grace] under the testimony of two or three witnesses. HOW MUCH SEVERER punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the [new] by which he was sanctified [set apart for holiness], and has INSULTED the Spirit of Grace?”
        When I extend “grace” to my child after he has sinned against my word, I still have the expectation he will conform his actions to the instructions I gave him. If he insists on continuing to disregard my instructions, not only is there no more grace, but the discipline is more severe. Is this not what God had the writer of Hebrews write? Grace doesn’t say future behavior doesn’t matter, does it?

          Like I said above, Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth, consisting of ONE tribe of Israel (Je_s) and gentiles, and reminded them that the things written in the OT were written for their learning. Now I take that to mean we should expect the same things that happened to them can and will happen to us, if we do what they did. They were judged and died in the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land.
          I do understand there are many today who think the God who emphatically states He does not change (OT-Mal. 3:6 and NT-Heb. 13:8- Jesus) really does, but then they twist the Scriptures to try and make it seem as if He really didn’t.
          Why would Paul tell the Corinthians to pay attention to what has happened before as regards God’s physical judgment on Israel, when, as you claim, no judgment is coming until the Day of Judgment? There is a physical judgment that CAN occur in this life, God MAY extend grace but is not so obligated (as I have experienced) and a second judgment to which you are referring. Both exist, but one is/may be in this life, and the second is assured in the next.
          The claim God hasn’t judged any nation since the cross is ludicrous. History is filled with judged nations since that time. There is a judgment that occurs in the physical world and it will occur with the US since we have spit in His face!
          There was all manner of grace extended in the OT despite the claims of modern theologians and their followers.
          Adam received grace when the animal was slain for his own sin instead of him. Noah found grace in the sight of God. Ruth received grace though she was a Moabite and wasn’t to be allowed to enter the congregation of Isreal and the same with Rahab who was a Canaanite. Ruth was the grandmother of David. David received grace when he wasn’t taken out and stoned for adultery. Both houses received grace when God withheld judgment over and over after they refused to listen to and obey the prophets. I could give a two dozen more examples from the OT.
          The reason that specific false doctrine exists is because the OT was translated from the Hebrew text (now “mercy” in English) and the NT was translated from the Greek. If you go back and translate the OT Greek Septuagint into English, you will find that the “Church” and “Grace” are found all throughout the OT! The devil is the one who benefits from making a distinction between the OT and NT. He is the one who doesn’t want God’s people to know the Truth of their oneness with Israel. Paul clearly taught we are grafted into Israel and all Israel will be saved. The New Covenant wasn’t made with gentiles. Jeremiah said it was with the house of Ju_ah and the house of Israel. No mention of gentiles!
          People love to use Paul when they think he agrees with them but refuse to use him when he disagrees. They have no idea what he really taught.
          How can he say, “As to the righteousness which is in the Law, [I am] blameless” (Phil. 3:6) and then in Romans 3:10 and 23 say, “There is none righteous, no not one”, and “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” if he was blameless with regard to God’s Law? If we don’t understand Paul is claiming to be blameless with respect to the Oral Law of the Pharisees (he was brought up as a Pharisee), which Jesus condemned, as did Paul (Romans 10:3 (and you can research this in any encyclopedia or Je_ish history book) then we are going to draw false conclusions about what he taught and teach false doctrines about God!
          This fact is only now being revealed to portions of Churchianity as for most of the last 1900 years, Je_s and Christians have avoided each other and taught the other is anathema! The Holy Spirit is brinng both together today in preparation of the Bride of Christ into one body.

            The heart of God is that people would come to know Him. I believe we agree on this. That God’s judgments are not the same in the NT as in the OT is something we do not agree on. If they are, as I say, God hasn’t changed, which is what He claims concerning Himself. If they aren’t, as you say, He has chnged and is a liar. What evidence?

            “And on an appointed day Herod, having put on his royal apparel, took his seat in the rostrum and began delivering an address to them. And the people kept crying out, ‘The voice of a god and not of a man!’ And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.” (Acts 12:21-23) I could tell you about various deaths by those who persecuted Christians which demonstrate God was giving them measure for measure for their actions.

            I don’t need to quote scripture regarding Annanias and Sapphira since I’m sure you are aware of it. The OT parallel passage is of Nadab and Abihu who were also offering “corban” or “drawing near” (the correct Hebrew translation), to the presence of God in a way He did not command and would not accept. The parallel is there for a reason and it is so we understand that the holy God of the OT is still the same holy God of the NT.

            I certainly agree with your quote of and understanding of Peter.

            As to why God hasn’t judged the Muslims yet: the OT tells us God is going to use them to discipline His people who claim His name but actually blaspheme it by refusing to obey. This is covered in the blessing Isaac gave Esau. “And by your sword you shall live and your brother [Jacob] you shall serve; but it shall come about when you become restless, you shall break his yoke from your neck.” (Gen. 27:40)

            God had already prophesied to Rebekah that two nations were in her womb and one would be stronger thatn the other. This is understaood to mean one of the two would ALWAYS be stonger than the other of the two, and the one that would be stronger would depend soley on whether Jacob’s family was following God properly or not. In other words, Jacob’s family always determined whether Esau would be stronger by its OWN actions towards God!

            Today, Jacob’s family is not acting properly towards God and so God is giving Jacob into Esau’s hands. Recall Esau married into Ishmael’s family also and both men were archers/hunters. The offspring of both men are killing Jacob’s family throughout the world so they will turn back to God. God is allowing this as discipline, punishment for some, so their souls may be saved

            The Buddah countries appear to be judged at Armagedon as the kings of the east. The nation in the land of Israel at 70 AD was certainly judged and scattered for 1900 years.

            My final thought regards the parable of the man with one talent who hid it in the ground; this man represents those who know the OT God was a God who was harsh and demanded certain things of His servants. These servants didn’t like that and so only desire to give back what was received, and went off and did THEIR own thing.

            Who are these persons Jesus is speaking about? It is obviously one who knows about the harsh master! I do not believe Jesus was speaking this about the Pharisees or relgious leaders of that day, they didn’t view God as harsh but just, but rather about those of today. It can be summed up in the famous words of Joel Olseen’s wife: “God just wants you to be happy!”

            Jesus said Moses, those whom the religious leaders of His day claimed to be following, would be there to testify at the judgment against them. I believe, based on Biblical patterns, that Paul will be there to testify against those since the time of Messiah that believe and teach he taught something different than the OT.

            The 2nd century heretic Marcion was the first to teach Paul taught against the Law, and he even rewote Paul’s letters to more emphasize that point. Today, most of Christiandom follows the teachings of a heretic who was excommunicated from the church. This is the great end time apostacy!

            You can do your own research on him. I learned of him in Bible college. But even there they didn’t see the connection between the 2nd century teachings of a convicted heretic and today’s doctrine!!! Constantine didn’t fully pervert the Church until the 4th century. It’s doctrine was still relatively solid in the early 2nd century. I believe in doing my own due diligence. Thank God he brings various bits of information to me to allow this!

            You know, I don’t think I can prove that. It is a semantic argument that to “prove” something you have to be able to replicate it. Even in our court system the standard of proof is “beyond a reasonable doubt”. No amount of “circumstantial” evidence will “prove” what you are asking me to do. If you won’t accept the Word which says an angel struck Herod causing him to die becasue he did not give the glory to God, as “proof” God judges people,and has since the cross, or believe God is the one who caused Annanias and Sapphira to die for their lying to the Holy Spirit, there is no “proof” you will accept.

            My intent is to try and encourage people to take a fresh look at their doctrines by pointing out Biblical inconsistancies in their positions on their teachings. Many reject the Bible’s own word on these inconsistancies!

            I have definitly learned over and over that Paul’s words of 2 Timothy 3:1-5 have become the primary characteristics of today’s people of God, even as they were in Jesus’ day (“whatever has been will be”), both within my family and the leadership of the mega church in this area of which I was once a part. It is why America will not turn to God, until those who are left have learned their ideas about Him are incorrect!

            Not sure where you got the big stick approach but God’s Word still stands true that He had an angel smite Herod and kill him after Jesus died, rose again, and returned to heaven and He also caused Annanias and Sapphira to give up their spirits when they lied to the Holy Spirit, AFTER He went back to the Father also. As someone once said, “Facts are stubbon things!”
            You can continue to shut your eyes and claim God doesn’t judge anyone until the Day of Judgment despite the evidence in these two cases. But since the Day of Judgment is also known as Yom Kippur or The Day of Atonement and Paul explained that the natural comes first and then the spiritual (1 Cor. 15:46), some of us do understand there is a physical death that occurs from His judgment, when He so desires, as well as a more permanent spiritual one that will occur and is known in Scripture as the second death.
            I’m pretty sure when Paul wrote, “Therefore whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. For He who eats and drinks, eats JUDGMENT {Strong’s Greek #2917- “Krima: a sentence pronounced, a verdict, condemnation”] to himself, if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and many sleep”- ARE DEAD . (1 Cor. 11:27-30) I’m pretty sure Paul wasn’t speaking about them sleeping in their beds. Again, this was after Jesus returned to heaven and this concerns those who claim to be followers of Jesus!
            We study God’s Word to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen who do not need to be ashamed beecause we can rightly divide the Word of Truth!
            The battle of Armageddon occurs on The Day of Judgment, Yom Kippur. It is a judgment of physical death but will become a spiritual one for many at the Great White Throne Judgment, 1000+ years later. Because of the Grace you speak of, I will not be participating in the second death. That in no way allows me to disrespect His Word now by disobeying it!

            I have to admit I am a bit stunned that so many christians are willing to reject the plain text of the NT or OT in favor of their own theology. It was the same thing many religious people of Jesus’ day did.

            Jesus is the OT Word made flesh. There is love throughout the OT, though holiness is the more prevelant theme. The NT portrays the love side as more prevelant but it is still balanced by holiness. Both together make a complete picture.

          Only Israel hears Jesus. The Jews who hear are just one tribe of Israel. “Thus all Israel will be saved.” (Romans 11:26)

          Paul tells us in Romans 9 that it is not the physical descendents of Abraham who are the children, “but the children of THE PROMISE are regarded as descendants.” (Romans 9:3-8) A good thing to study out is, What is “the promise” Paul is speaking about?”

          Jesus and Paul were both sent to anyone who would hear, but only those who are part of Israel, the Israel of God (Paul in Gal. 6:16 and Eph. 2:11-13), will ever hear what He or Paul truely said!

      I agree. God never stops loving and seeking us, but He is a gentleman. He only hardened Pharoah’s heart after Pharoah hardened his own heart 3 times in a row. In other words, God gave Pharoah what Pharoah wanted. It’s all about relationship, we are created in His image, and He certainly has free will, we’re not gears in a machine. “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart”, and “Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you”. Yet, He seeks us, as in Isaiah, re-quoted by Paul in Romans, ” I have been found of them who were not looking for Me”. We could never save ourselves or keep our own souls alive according to Scripture. We had to have the Cross provided by God as the way of deliverance. I really think the worst torture of hell will be that those there will be conscious of the Lord’s love and presence, although they refused Him. They will have gotten what they insisted on having.

      A worthy watchmen would remind people (and the world) that the Lord’s return is near; that the time for repentance is short; and to look up, “[…] for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28, KJV). After all, on many occasions Jesus urged the disciples to watch. Therefore, watchmen that follow these directions from Christ will prove to be effective and reliable servants.

      For example, these honorable forecasters would implore and call out with warnings of the following nature: “Watch out for false prophets [as] they come to you in sheep’s clothing” (Matthew 7:15); “Watch out that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4); “[…] keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come” (Matthew 24:42); “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation” (Matthew 26:41); “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed” (Luke 12:15).

      Note that none of these urgings from the Bible requires a physical preparation; they are only spiritual ones affecting the heart. None concerns itself with worldly goods or material possessions. For again, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions” (Luke 12:15). A key distinction found here is that the concerns of these “worthy” watchmen are not about the “abundance of possessions.”

        What is a “watchman” and what is he watching for? Surely he is not watching for calamity and harping on economic, financial and worldly issues daily but instead is Watching and professing for the late hour because time grows short before the opportunity to repent is short–not the time of mundane possessions being short.
        Watchmen need to be heralding the impending return of our Lord and Saviour, not peddling survival biscuits and buckets of dehydrated food.

    Check out David Wilkerson’s book “the vision”. He was founder of Teen Challenge and pastor of Time Square church. 6 weeks before 9/11 their church cancelled all engagement and spent 4 days a week in prayer for calamity they knew was coming, just didnt know what.

          The Old Testament …parts were written over 3000 years ago these would be those written by Moses or the first five books called The Pentateuch or in Jewish the Torah.

            Yeah, I mentioned Wikipedia, since GV hasn’t seemed to acknowledge that anything in the Bible could be based in truth (despite the fact that numerous historical and archeological evidences have shown it to be the most validated book in history) since some large earthquakes are mentioned in it. Found a good source on Live Science’s website, which is secular, saying the same things. While a tremor might have gone unrecorded in the past because of lack of sensitive instruments, there’s no getting around the big ones, and they certainly have increased in the last 10 or so years. The scientists just have mixed theories as to why.

            My neighbor gets updates from the U.S. Geological website re: seismic events, and according to them, there have been more 6.0 or above, (which is considered a large quake, I think tremors are under 4.0) in the last 10 years, than in all of recorded history.

            Duh, GV, pugilistic as always. 10 years of recorded history re: 6.0+ earthquakes compared to what, 5500+years of recorded history. Wikipedia probably has listings of major earthquakes recorded which include some written about from antiquity. Geologists are very good at reading fault lines, subduction zone info, etc. I’m sure they could tell you their guesstimates involving the average yearly-hundreds of yearly, large earthquakes around the world. The U.S. Geologic survey sent my neighbor these statistics, not me.

The establishment does not want Trump in there because he is not part of the establishment. He cannot be bought and he cannot be told what to do. He said he is going to shake things up. You know the Republicans are so crooked that they are willing to vote for Hillary, just to keep things as they way they are. That is messed up. I’ve never seen the Republican party so divided and they would intentionally invite another 4 years of Democrats and their ridiculous and anti-God laws. Also, I have never seen so many demonstrators attacking a candidate. If Trump is nominated, expect some group to take him out, or the people to go nuts and rebel. Like I said, trouble is brewing.

    Michael, you need to go back and do more research.The tribulation period is called the ‘wrath of the Lamb’. 1 Thess.1:10 “…even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thess. 5:9 ” For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” I do believe in a pre-trib rapture, but I also believe times will get bad before we’re caught up – we see signs of that now. Enoch and Noah was pre-view of the end times. Enoch, a type of the church, was taken up before judgment, then afterwards Noah, a type of Israel, was saved through the judgment. Who are you to be asking if people will ‘lose’ their faith? You ask -‘Jesus died for you, will you be willing to die for him if he asks?’ – Will You?You say – ‘EVERYONE save one or two in the history of the world has died. It is vane to think that you wont, complete vanity to think that you will be raptured up before you die.” BTW – it’s vain, not ‘vane.’ Of course we die, but they’re is a generation of saved believers that will escape death when the trumpet sounds at the rapture of the church. 1 Cor. 15:51, 52 “Behold, I shew you a mystery: we shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” Also 1 Thess. 4 where it says – ‘we which are ALIVE and remain shall be caught up…

      I am having a hard time undestanding why so many Christians find it so difficult to accept the 7 vials of wrath ARE the wrath we have been delivered from by faith in Jesus and are what Paul spoke of in 1 Thess 1:10 and other places. It seems the connection is so simple! Why insist the entire 3.5 year Tribulation is “wrath”?

      In Revelation 14:14, “one like the Son of Man”, with a crown on His head (hint: that’s Jesus) is told to reap the earth for the harvest is ready. The harvest is ready only ONE TIME. Fall comes only once! Then the vails of wrath are poured out immediately after the harvest!

      The Tribulation is called “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble” and it is SPECIFICALLY a time God has appointed to discipline His children (Jesus’ second cleansing of His Temple), along with those who are NOT believers, so members of both groups will come into a proper relationship with Him BEFORE His wrath is poured out on the earth on those who REFUSE to repent and give the Creator the honor and glory He DESERVES from His creation.

      What we need to do in this age is take an fresh, objective, look at Scripture and make sure we are doing the things God told us to do, not just continue doing what we’ve been doing for the last 2,000 years, or 500 if you are a Protestant that brought Catholic baggage along.

I used to think the wrath was all 3.5 years, but, am starting to understand it being the very end of the 3.5 year (2nd half of final 7 years)

          You know Michael, I agreed with everything you said to the person we both responded to, even though I said it in a different way. I did point out the need to not blindly accept man’s doctrine but to go back to the Scriptures, as a good Berean, and test things for onesself.

          I’m not sure if you are disagreeing with my comment about the troubles coming to those who “say” they are following God, but if you are referring to my comment of “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble” being a time when God is disciplining His own people, it is good to look at patterns in Scripture and see where else this is seen, and whether we should expect to see it agin.

          A wise man once said, “That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. See, there is nothing new under the sun.”

          Shortly after Jacob returned to the land God called him to Bethel to renew the covenant and Jacob rose up and informed his family to give him their gods, which he buried. They were commiting spiritual adultery. We are also about to go into the land and we have to rid ourselves of many gods, but many today love their false gods and do not want to leave them behind.

          Also, the final test for Israel before entering the “Promised Land” was for the women of Midian, Abraham was Midian’s father, to entice Israel into sexul sin and eat at the festivals of their false god’s. Again, the people were committing spiritual adultery, just as His people are doing today! Today this would be Christmas and Easter.

          When Jesus began His ministry it was at Passover and He cleansed the Temple, His physical dwelling place. (John 2:13-25) When He returns to accept His Kingdom He will cleanse His Temple again, just as He did prior to His death, only it will be His spiritual dwelling place (Mt. 21:12-13 & 23-27)

          There is a reason Paul tells us the natural comes first and then the spiritual. (1 Cor. 15:46) This second cleansing, still to occur, regards those He wishes to have His presence dwell, and He can only dwell in a HOLY vessel. Holiness is rarely taught today!
          If this is not the point of your response, please be more clear. If you have never thought about the layers of meaning in Scripture, please pray about it and consider this possibility.

      The tribulation is NOT the wrath of God. The tribulation is a time of purification where everyone alive will be forced to make the choice, do I serve him or not. (completely committed or not) Anyone who is not willing to give all to Jesus Christ is not heaven bound. The wrath of God is what comes after that tribulation, after the harvest. It is the final judgment of all unbelievers.
      Of course there will be some that will not see death – but for 2000 years or so – everyone who believed that they would be raptured were wrong. It is God who choses who is saved and who is not, and who is to be raptured and who will need to die. Rev 6:11
      It really doesn’t matter what you think will happen to you in the future and after you die. That is all up to God. Matthew 7:22
      As for me, I serve Jesus Christ with all of my body, mind and soul. Whatever he calls for me I will obey. If that means to die for my faith in Christ – I have no choice and am fully willing – since I now live for him and not myself.
      Don’t think that when you allowed Jesus to come into your heart to become a part of your life that you became so called “saved”. He demands a complete dedication – The proper way is – Jesus, I give you my life in total to do with as you please. I ask for you to come into my heart to reside forever and I will obey.

          I think the actual wording is, “if possible, even the elect”. That would not necessarily mean that all or even some of those who are true Christians will be deceived by the antiChrist. That said, I’ve been a believer for decades and have believed false teachings before. I’m still a work in process, but the longer I go, the more my hope becomes anchored in Him. He promised to finish what He started in us.

    Then the fun begins. Because everything is about to shift.
    The alternate reality might be Hilliary is put in jail. Bernie is the candidate and possible elected president.
    The second alternate reality might be Hilliary becomes your next President.

    Will Jesus come back?
    Historically not likely.
    Possible yes.
    We as a nation are wrapped into the possible return of Jesus.
    What I say is we need to depend on ourselves not some future return of Jesus.
    That means get out there and vote.
    That means do your homework before you vote. Meaning check out who represents what. Check out who and how they voted in the past. or if they are new what they mean to do if they get elected.
    Your attitude needs to be everything depends on us. Pray like everything depends on God. Because when all is said and done, God appears to help those that work not sit back and play “poor little me.”‘
    Jesus died. Was brought back from the dead. Then left this planet.
    He disappeared in the clouds.
    Only his Father knows the time when he will return.
    I hope it doesn’t happen soon.
    Because when it does happen the end of this planet is near. A new Earth is being prepared for us. Meaning a new sky and a new place.
    When and if Jesus returns I hope he brings an army with him and proceeds to weed out the hypocrites in his own churches.
    Do I expect that to happen in my lifespan. Not really.
    What I wouldn’t give to have Jesus come and heal all of us from the physical problems we suffer with. But do I expect it. Reality check here is only God knows when he will return.

    I always question private revelation. How can i know if it is true? This is especially true when there are competing private revelations. However, having said that, anyone that studies his or Her Bible and what is happening knows that disaster is coming to America. America is living well off of debt and that cannot last forever. Our leaders and the Global Elite have done a number on us. But I doubt the election will be cancelled or that marshal law will come until there is some type of disaster or financial crisis that severely restricts or shuts down the economy. However, when that happens it will be terrible. The dollar will either fully collapse or become extremely devalued one day and i believe the demise of the dollar will be one of the biggest events in human history. It will result in mass starvation in may areas of the World including the United States. But the Global Elite will probably decide when it collapse at the time of their choosing when they believe it will yield global governance and a global currency – an event the Bible clearly predicts.

    The Bible. It is the most read book in the world. It is also, the most confusing book ever written. Do not get me wrong, I believe it is the Word of God, however, take any verse and have ten individuals read that verse and you will get nearly ten different interpretations of that verse. How can a loving God give such a profoundly confusing book of instruction to His people? This is one reason we have so many different denominations of Christianity today and why there is such doubt and confusion over the Bible itself.

    Why should I believe your interpretation over my interpretation or that of my relatives interpretation or that interpretation reiterated by my church? Is your interpretation set aside personally by God himself? Have you and only you been chosen to relay the “true” version and interpretation of His Word? Until such time as someone unlocks the “true” interpretation of the Bible, I think it best not to be too preachy regarding same.

    My point, as simple and humble as it may be, is that all one can do is try to live a good and moral life, giving praise and thanks for all that God has deemed to share with us. Stressing over what may or may not come is fruitless as we have no control over any of it, only control over how we live our lives. Prepare yes, fret no. Those who have lived a good life will not fear whatever plan God delivers. One thing we do know, is that it is never to late to repent and live in God’s light. So, begin each day with that and build from there. Stop over interpreting and live in His Light! Believe that you WILL know when the time is near and rejoice in knowing that all is in His hands. If you really believe, then “fear not” my friends…..

      Appreciate where you’re coming from, having been in several different Christian denominations in 43 years of faith, since Jesus found me at age 19.

      I believe the root of the problem is that we rely on our power and understanding of righteousness to try and wrestle with Scripture, but are operating in the flesh, not being led by the Holy Spirit, so we end up with many interpretations, when we’re told specifically in the New Testament, that His word is not subject to private interpretation, but speaks for itself. So many times, (and I’ve been guilty of it personally) we utilize isogesis, (cherry picking) to advance our own agendas, or see things mainly figuratively, or only literally, rather than reading in context, in faith, asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit (He has promised to guide us into all truth through His word!). Lots of false doctrines out there have come about because of going with one, two, or three verses which seemingly support this claim or that, when truly Biblical doctrine almost always has at least dozens of verses directly related and many more supporting it indirectly besides that, to qualify. If we let Jesus be the head of the Church, come together in the unity of His Holy Spirit in love, we’d avoid a lot of these disputes, as well. As a teacher of mine said, We have to stay under the text. God’s words are perfect and divinely inspired, but we’re only humans, even as believers, we’re still a work in progress. There’s a verse in the OT which says that even a child can understand His words. I think we make it much more difficult than it was meant to be, because basically, at some point, we rely on ourselves and or are seeking our own agendas. He is patient and loving with us though. He’s keeping His promises to guide and grow and use us. You’re right, Jack, no need to fear, if we’re in Him.

    It is said, that much harm will come to many, this stands as truth. It is said, that the weak will forfeit their faith at the last, this also is truth. What we feel, hear, conjecture, will soon be of no consequence, since evidence will present itself all too soon. Is not His return near imminent? Do not all feel something is amiss? Do not many hide themselves in distractions, that they may forget for a time, that which will soon be upon them? Howbeit many will run to and fro seeking for that which will save them, when none can be saved except through He Who Is? Will it not soon be too late to seek Him out? For will not His Word be hunted down and destroyed? For will not only those with His Word deep within them, be saved, and all else perish? Seek The Word while it be found, for soon, it will be too late.

    This is insane. I just lost a half hour of my life reading and arguments below and seeing them devolve into hating on candidates with ostensibly 3/4 (or more) of the commentators being Christian.

    Have you given your life over to God through the atonement offered by our Messiah? This is the only thing that matters.

    The rest will happen. Things will be good – Things will be bad. Many see the season we are in. Keep God’s commandments. Share the good news. Pray.

    There’s never been a time when those who followed God failed to have His freedom. Those who fail to follow God lose that freedom. Result=Totalitarianism Regime. Anarchy and or invasion. THAT’S WHERE WE ARE TODAY. America has gone into captivity. Believers choices are now captivity, the sword or flee Babylon. Wrath is not redemptive. It’s terminal. Judgement is redemptive. It’s meant to restore you into right relationship with God into a healthy relationship so that God is justified in acting on your behalf. There’s a difference between God’s wrath and God’s judgement. When God removes people from their captivity and they don’t have a change of mindset, they go right back into captivity. Part of the process is us changing our mindset. When your heart is not changed, you’re going to go back into captivity. THAT’S WHERE WE ARE TODAY. There’s consequences for not changing our heart when we’re asking God to remove our enemy. TRUTH IS BEING COMPROMISED IN THIS NATION. If you look at what the Prophet Isaiah says in 59:4,14,15: “No one calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies. They conceive evil and bring forth inequity. Justice is turned back. Righteousness stands afar off. Truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter. The truth fails and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.” In other words, you put a target on your back if you don’t go along with the political correctness or what the bible calls evil. When justice and truth and trust aren’t there anymore, then here’s what the Prophet Isaiah says happens. “When truth erodes, justice decays, truth evaporates, anarchy appears on the horizon and CAPTIVITY IS NOT FAR BEHIND!”.

      Agree!! Christians aren’t destined for God’s wrath, but He often allows us to face the consequences of our actions, as you said, for His redemptive plans. If He didn’t discipline us, as Paul said, He wouldn’t be our loving Father. Believers are also promised tribulation and persecution, in fact, we’re told that it is “granted” to us and Jesus said this persecution can be considered a badge on honor. Not that we should go looking for it, but if we really have a personal relationship with God, as you mentioned, we will become a prey. But, “in all these things, God overwhelmingly conquers for us”. An eternity of joy, peace and righteousness with Him, waits for us. I love the last line of the hymn, This is my Father’s World, “Jesus, who died, will be satisfied, and earth and heaven will be one”. I’m longing for His return, because my heart breaks for the misery and destruction which sin brings to humanity, but He knows best. He won’t wait one second longer than fits His perfect plan.

    Now, here is the thing; Matthew 28:19
    19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
    Did the disciples had the time to teach all nations? Or are we the one who is doing the rest of the job right now? How can the gifts of the spirit be only for the disciples while the assignment is for all christians?
    And if we have to preach the gospel to all nations too, this verse Mark 16:20 ►
    Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
    The signs have to accompany us too.

    Now, go and pray about it and Holy Sprit will guide you into all truth. That is the advantage we have. We don’t have to believe opinions of men or demons.
