That's right, folks...say it with me...Glass Steagall. Enacted in 1933 as a **direct** result of the **first** Great Depression, and repealed by ::BOTH:: political parties 66 years later for the sole benefit of Goldman Sachs and the rest of the criminals on Wall Street. Thats right, theres more than you in the world FYI, getting 1.5b chineese out of poverty seems like a good thing, dosnt it? So take your medicine, square your losses & stop your butchin. After all you fondly see yourselves as a nation of fresh starts & do overs, so get started & do it over sooner is better. One thing, you have to stop taking candy from children & calling it solid food, your national debt is a discrace & your unfunded entitlments will make yours a third world country long before Iran has the BOMB (and it will do less damage)... How about Gov't getting out of bed with big business and keeping American Jobs right here in America. And how about Big Business having the integrity to KEEP jobs right here in America. Because eventually as we are seeing more clearly every day. You have to have an income base of Middle Class to buy the products and services which you produce.... Take away their income and you lose your consumer base.... This system works if the Gov't and Big business look at the long term BIG PICTURE... However they do not. Thus we are now spiraling out of control in what will be the biggest depression in US History.... the writing is on the wall and TIME is the only thing that goes on from here.... The only question is how far will the standard of living fall before mass revolution in this country. And will the people who stand up and fight fight for unity or for themselves.... Clearly, Americans are need more independance from the Ecomony. 28% Unemployment could be turned into untold profits for new Millionares who could offset the fortold recession. Dollars that could be pored into impoverished areas in america. Someplace else to go when all the present doors shut America needs a job. Their only solution is to give more tax cuts to the wealthy. This can be proved by recent comments on them wanting to extend the bush tax cuts but will not extend unemployment.
