I agree with Mary-Elizabeth. Furthermore, wouldn’t it nice to see countries put an end to the endless “aid” to other countries and make them help themselves. We don’t need China and we don’t need the middle east. Everything we need is right here. Do we really need the Chinese to prove it to us on our own soil? Hasn’t Nevada already proved it could exist completely independent of the USA?

Well, this is a vote of confidence for the USA if I ever saw one! Even if we are “broke” everyone still wants to get here either legally or illegally. We are so blessed. Now, if the Chinese or any other peoples want to live here (as many now do) in an enclave, let them do so. They must obey all the state and federal laws, pay taxes, speak English, abide by all of our environmental laws, workers’ rights and the like, so why not have them here? Just think, some Americans may be doubly blessed by observing how others build cars at a rate of pay which would be much less than the $70.00 total per hour rate the unions saddled GM with helping to cause bankruptcy. Imagine, working in an auto factory at about $30.00 per hour or less…….

I don’t feel so bad. Too bad we couldn’t have done a better job so that we would still have control of our destiny, but, alas, we didn’t.

Concerning the faith of our fathers: Just think of the opportunity for evangelism in the Christian faith. Just think of how God may be working to bring unsaved people right to our front door since it is not too easy to get to their front door overseas. Praise the Lord!!!
