America Is Being Systematically Transformed Into A Totalitarian Society

America Is Being Systematically Transformed Into A Totalitarian SocietyIf someone were to ask you for an example of a “totalitarian society”, how would you respond?  Most Americans would probably think of horribly repressive regimes such as the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China, East Germany or North Korea, but the truth is that there is one society that has far more rules and regulations than any of those societies ever dreamed of having.  In the United States today, our lives are governed by literally millions of laws, rules and regulations that govern even the smallest details of our lives, and more laws, rules and regulations are constantly being added.  On January 1st, thousands of restrictive new laws went into effect all over America, but most Americans have become so accustomed to the matrix of control that has been constructed all around them that it does not even bother them when even more rules and regulations are put into place.  In fact, a growing number of Americans have become totally convinced that “freedom” and “liberty” must be tightly restricted for the good of society and that “the free market” is inherently dangerous.  On the national, state and local levels, Americans continue to elect elitist control freaks that are very eager to tell all the rest of us how to run virtually every aspect of our lives. According to Merriam-Webster, the following is one of the ways that the word “totalitarian” is defined: “of or relating to a political regime based on subordination of the individual to the state and strict control of all aspects of the life and productive capacity of the nation especially by coercive measures”.  And that is exactly what we are witnessing in America today – nearly all aspects of our lives and of the economy are very tightly controlled by a bunch of control freaks that just keep tightening that control with each passing year.  We still like to call ourselves “the land of the free”, but the truth is that we are being transformed into a totalitarian society unlike anything the world has ever seen before.  Where will we end up eventually if we keep going down this road?

If you still believe that America is “free”, just consider some of the things that are illegal in America today…

-Starting on January 1st, it is now illegal to make or import 75 watt incandescent light bulbs anywhere in the United States.

-In Oregon, it is illegal to collect rainwater that falls on your own property.

-In New Jersey, it is illegal to have an “unrestrained” cat or dog in your vehicle while you are driving.

-If you milk your cow and sell some of the milk to your neighbor, you could end up having your home raided by federal agents.

-In Miami Beach, Florida you must recycle your trash properly or face huge fines.

-All over the United States, cops are shutting down lemonade stands run by children because they don’t have the proper “permits”.

-Down in Tulsa, Oklahoma one unemployed woman had her survival garden brutally ripped out and carted away by government thugs because it did not conform to regulations.

-Over in Massachusetts, all children in daycare centers are mandated by state law to brush their teeth after lunch.  In fact, the state even provides the fluoride toothpaste for the children.

-At one public school down in Texas, a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Bustamantes was arrested for spraying herself with perfume.

-A 13-year-old student at a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico was arrested by police for burping in class.

-All over the United States cities have passed laws that actually make it illegal to feed the homeless.

With each passing year, the number of decisions that we are allowed to make for ourselves gets smaller and smaller.

This includes some really fundamental things such as basic health decisions.

For example, the CDC will soon be recommending that nearly every single American be vaccinated for the flu every single year.  The following is from a recent Natural News article

An advisory panel to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that every person be vaccinated for the seasonal flu yearly, except in a few cases where the vaccine is known to be unsafe.

“Now no one should say ‘Should I or shouldn’t I?'” said CDC flu specialist Anthony Fiore.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices voted 11-0 with one abstention to recommend yearly flu vaccination for everyone except for children under the age of six months, whose immune systems have not yet developed enough for vaccination to be safe, and people with egg allergies or other health conditions that are known to make flu vaccines hazardous.

These “recommendations” are often made into mandatory requirements by school districts and employers all over the country.  Will employers all over the nation soon require all of their employees to take these vaccines each year based on these CDC “recommendations”?  This is already happening in the healthcare field.  Hundreds of healthcare professionals all over the nation are being fired for refusing to take certain vaccines.  It doesn’t matter that there is a tremendous amount of evidence that many of these vaccines are dangerous.  Many health professionals today are being faced with the choice of either submitting to the “recommendations” of the “experts” or losing their jobs.

We see this kind of “creeping totalitarianism” in the business world as well.  As I have written about previously, small businesses all over the country are being absolutely suffocated by mountains of laws, rules and regulations.

One of the biggest changes that small businesses will be dealing with in the next couple of years is Obamacare.  Many small businesses have been cutting back hours in an attempt to get around the new requirements contained in Obamacare.  The following is one example from a news story that was published earlier this week

Around 100 local Wendy’s workers have learned their hours are being cut. A spokesperson says a new health care law is to blame.

“Thirty-six to 37 hours a week.” That’s how many hours T.J. Growbeck works at the 84th and Giles Wendy’s restaurant. The money he earns helps him pay for the basics, but that’s not the case for all his co-workers. “There are some people doing it trying to get by.”

The company has announced that all non-management positions will have their hours reduced to 28 a week. Gary Burdette, Vice President of Operations for the local franchise, says the cuts are coming because the new Affordable Health Care Act requires employers to offer health insurance to employees working 32-38 hours a week. Under the current law they are not considered full time and that as a small business owner, he can’t afford to stay in operation and pay for everyone’s health insurance.

But the IRS has announced that it is going to make it very hard for employers to avoid these new Obamacare regulations.  According to new IRS rules, all firms that “have at least 50 full-time employees or an equivalent combination of full-time and part-time employees” will be required to provide healthcare for their employees and their dependents.  The following is from a recent New York Times article

Under the rules, employers must offer coverage to employees in 2014 and must offer coverage to dependents as well, starting in 2015.

The new rules apply to employers that have at least 50 full-time employees or an equivalent combination of full-time and part-time employees. A full-time employee is a person employed on average at least 30 hours a week. And 100 half-time employees are considered equivalent to 50 full-time employees.

Thus, the government said, an employer will be subject to the new requirement if it has 40 full-time employees working 30 hours a week and 20 half-time employees working 15 hours a week.

So conceivably an employer could have only part-time employees and still be required to provide healthcare coverage under Obamacare.

Of course many small businesses will not be able to afford to do this, so expect to see a significant number of them shut down or to try to survive with skeleton crews in 2014 and 2015.

As the number of laws, rules and regulations that govern our lives continues to multiply, the control freaks that run things will continue to try to use technology to watch us all and make sure that we are obeying their rules.

One way that they are doing this is with automated traffic cameras.  Of course much of the time the performance of these cameras is terribly flawed.  Just consider the following example which recently appeared in the Baltimore Sun

The Baltimore City speed camera ticket alleged that the four-door Mazda wagon was going 38 miles per hour in a 25-mph zone — and that owner Daniel Doty owed $40 for the infraction.

But the Mazda wasn’t speeding.

It wasn’t even moving.

The two photos printed on the citation as evidence of speeding show the car was idling at a red light with its brake lights illuminated. A three-second video clip also offered as evidence shows the car motionless, as traffic flows by on a cross street.

But even though technology sometimes fails, the control freaks that run things seem absolutely obsessed with using it to monitor us.  After all, there are so many of us and watching all of us is a very big job.

For example, did you know that listening devices are being installed on public buses all over the United States?  The following is from a recent Wired article

Transit authorities in cities across the country are quietly installing microphone-enabled surveillance systems on public buses that would give them the ability to record and store private conversations, according to documents obtained by a news outlet.

The systems are being installed in San Francisco, Baltimore, and other cities with funding from the Department of Homeland Security in some cases, according to the Daily, which obtained copies of contracts, procurement requests, specs and other documents.

According to the article, some of these systems are incredibly advanced and pair the audio that is being recorded with video that is being taken at the same time…

In Eugene, Oregon, the Daily found, transit officials requested microphones that would be capable of “distilling clear conversations from the background noise of other voices, wind, traffic, windshields wipers and engines” and also wanted at least five audio channels spread across each bus that would be “paired with one or more camera images and recorded synchronously with the video for simultaneous playback.”

But that is just one example of how the surveillance of the American people is rapidly growing.  For many more examples, please see my previous article entitled “29 Signs That The Elite Are Transforming Society Into A Total Domination Control Grid“.

If America continues down the path that it is on right now, the United States will eventually be transformed into a “Big Brother society” that is far more restrictive than anything George Orwell ever dreamed of.

We need a fundamental cultural revolution in this nation.  We need a revival of the principals of liberty and freedom that were so important during the founding days of this country.  We need to teach people that even though liberty and freedom may be unpredictable at times, such an environment is greatly preferable to a society where all of our decisions are made for us by a tiny elite.

Please share this article with as many people as you can.  Time is running out, and we need to wake up as many as we can while there is still time.

This new food safety law from two years ago is being put into action now that the election is over. When the farmers start getting surprise inspections from the government to check if a cow or horse was in a field and left some manure they might receive a fine or worse. They will regret having voted Obama back into office. Cass Sunstein has been busy during the first four years
Cass Sunstein counsels thinkers/academics/politicians to embrace the findings of behavioral economics as applied to law, maintaining freedom of choice while also steering people’s decisions in directions that will make their lives go better.
Ha, freedom of choice they say as they steer you with new laws and regulations, that if you do not obey, you will be punished. There is so much that we do not as yet know how bad it will be. The government bureaucrats will turn the 2000 pages of Obamacare into around 100,000 pages before they are done with it.

I have a form that the USDA wants filled out and they state the law the requires me to fill it out and send it back in. They even tell me that the report is due by February 4,2013. They want to know all about our production expenses such as how much fuel oil, gasoline etc, and then all of our repairs and maintance costs, any labor hired or a contractor used, any rent paid, interest paid on debts and if the debt is secured by real estate or not,our property taxes paid, any other expenses paid during the year and the total deprediation expense claimed by this operation for all capiltal assets. That is just part of one section and there are 37 sections. Another section demands the value of the land, buildings, machinery and equipment. Section 35 is called operator characteristics: they want the full name of any oprerator, the sex, what equipment they ran, if you are retired, how many days and hours each operator worked off of the farm, did you live on the farm, what year did you begin to farm this place, what year did you ever farm ant place, what is your age, if you are a latino and if you came from mexico or where else you came from, what is your race, how many live in your house, etc. I guess you get the picture. The government claims that this imformation will be used only for statistical use. Do you really believe that this will not be used for surprise checks by the USDA food police. Like it or not, we intend to get rid of most of our cows and not raise anything except our garden and a cow a year for our freezer. This government is overbearing and is going over the line with all of their regulations. If little guys like us quit because of this crap, you will have less good quality food and you will be stuck with factory farming.

  • I had a little talk with my inner child about our societal default setting…

This ought to throw a monkey wrench into the totalitarian plans of ruling elite…

  • Mark

Eugene,Oregon it the perfect example of control freaks. That is what having a big college in town does for you. It attracts progressives and they are control freaks.

    • Colin

I am a progressive. I am not a control freak. My philosophy in life is this, if you do what makes you happy, and it doesn’t harm someone else, I am OK with that. By harm, I mean physical or mental abuse.

I do find it curious that while we are discussing these laws, that Michael isn’t describing the laws that are being put into place to either limit or outlaw abortion. For me, this is wrong. It’s not that I support or don’t support abortion. It’s that I see these laws as an intrusion into the decision process of women over their own bodies, and the state is relegating women to the status of second-class citizens. And, while these legislators are writing and passing these laws, they are cutting back on sex education. Both women, and men, need education on how the reproductive process begins so that they can be informed citizens. I do believe that in my lifetime I will see Roe vs Wade overturn, and that decision will have far reaching consequences for both women and our society.

(And, Michael, I agree with you that performing an abortion after six months can be argued as being akin to murder, unless the mother’s life is at risk, which in that case, the life of the mother takes precedence. I am less sure of the first six months. For me, the questions boils down to, can the fetus survive outside the mother’s body? The earliest that a baby can be delivered and have the slightest chance of surviving is 21 weeks, or approximately 6 months.)

      • otter1111

The real question shouldn’t be when an unborn child can survive outside the womb. That’s a point of time that will change based on medical technology. The bottom line on abortion is this-are you killing an innocent human being? At conception, your hair color, skin tone, sex, and many other characteristics were set-you just needed the proper environment and nourishment to grow, be born, and grow to adulthood. After 21 days you had a heartbeat, around 40 you had brain wave activity. If you’ve seen the 4D ultrasounds, I think it’s nearly impossible to objectively say you’re not killing an innocent human being.

As for controlling the woman’s body rhetoric-you’re not killing the woman’s body, you’re killing an unborn child. They are separate.

Women aren’t second class citizens whether or not abortion is legal-I believe the dignity of motherhood should be elevated, not avoided. The people who are second-class citizens are the unborn who have no one to speak for them and are being mercilessly killed.

Ronald Reagan had a great quote, “The only people in favor of abortion are those that are already born.”

      • Orcslayer

If you mean what you wrote in your first paragraph, then you are not a progressive. Progressives think that government knows best, and should regulate anything it wants too. And when progressives say gov’t , they really mean themselves. They think they ( the smart, good and wise ones) ought to be empowered tell you (the stupid, evil, fool) what you may or may not do, according to their personal opinions.
By the way, abortion kills, which, harms someone, therefore, by your own words, you ought to be against the murder of children.

Thank God for an article written like this. If this change is going to be stop, it will be our vigilence and our proactiveness to make the necessary changes happen. We are not collateral to the people in power and the global elites. God has given each of us a brain and a body to take action. If you want America to stay the “free” country you were promised, get involved in Politics

People aren’t buying up all those black rifles for nothing.

    • I bought my guns BECAUSE of this

      • Anon

How will Guns help you? Have you ever seen what happens to people who try and out shoot the cops? Nov very good strategy bro.

        • Jerry

Give us your strategy Bro! I can tell that you have not been around long.

          • Anon

My strategy, is to lay low, and move up I to the mountains. I live in HI, and the ko’olows are pretty steep and hazardous. (That’s why there are so many old concrete bunkers from WW2 in them). From there I can live in peace with little to no gov. Harassment.

          • Anon

If you have direct confrontation with the gov, you’ll die. Best option is just to leave,.

          • You’re a weak tool and you deserve to have your butt fried by any of the new age redcoats. Jeez, I can’t believe people like you even exist in America. Do you honestly think that the govt. wins by default JUST BECAUSE?!? You’re the type of people in this nation that are allowing the police to do what they want and then cry about it afterwards. You’re the type of person that enables our corrupt govt. to do what it wishes with no fear of consequences. Oh, but there will be consequences and The People shall rise up. Time is narrow and I wish you luck you fool.

          • adplatt126

Actually he’s just a pragmatist. I think he may come down and fight when things are ripe, and rebellion is possible. But right now, with its nuclear arsenal, its numbers, among other things, it’s hard to imagine victory. And I’m afraid to admit it, and I wish it wasn’t true, but given modern technology, the window for armed revolution may be rapidly closing for good. A society must be able to transform its government into something respectable peacefully or perhaps not at all. I mean you’re going to fight drones, nukes, and robots? Good luck. If it comes to that, there’s really no hope. Some armed rebellion might help achieve victory indirectly or partially, and most likely because it would force the thugs in government to realize how immoral and corrupt they have become, as pictures of the slaughter they’re participating in, are publicized. Pity would probably go further than your guns in other words. But a full scale victory by force is a puerile fantasy. The empire in Washington really is the largest threat that ever existed to both the world and its own citizens. That kind of power alone is dangerous, almost regardless of who wields it. Unfortunately for us, it’s a highly criminal bunch. But his argument against armed revolution is not necessarily cowardly. It’s realistic. Your tirade has all the trademarks of an American one. It’s sanguine, arrogant, vulgar, rude, and blind to the actual realities of the world. Everybody who disagrees with you is a coward and a fool huh? LOL. Yeah, I wonder how America got to the place it’s currently in… before you respond, try to actually read something I’ve written here. And I’m not trying to offend you. I’m merely telling you how it is and giving you an honest assessment of the character and intellect you’ve displayed towards a guy who just spoke his mind and his heart. It’s not easy for anyone to know what to do with a government like this and in a situation like this.

          • Lalo

you’ll still need a gun and ammunition to attain food or survive a wild animal attack.

Scary but true. That “cultural revolution” ain’t happening, though: would cut into the time needed to watch Dancing With The Stars and America’s Got Talent…. :-(

  • Tom Blanton

It appears a majority of Americans cling to totalitarian government and even those who complain still yearn to be ruled. Both liberals and conservative believers in centralized government, a clear majority, somehow believe everything will just be dandy if only we elect the “right” people. There is no historical evidence this will ever happen.

We’ve been on the road to totalitarianism since before the ink dried on the Constitution, the document that has either given us this government or allowed it to happen.

    • HerrinSchadenfreude

What are you high? The Constitution didn’t give us this government or allow it to become what it is. What did that is the ignorance of the citizenry charged with enforcing the Constitution and ensuring that the government continued to work for the public. An enforcement order that the majority of the population doesn’t even understand is not an option, but an ORDER.

The American public is too busy feeling superior while deriding others who point out such attempts by government to further invalidate the Constitution, so how exactly is any of this, or the almost certain continuation of this, a surprise to you?

    • Hammerstrike

Translation into plain english: It isn´t my fault I am a moron and vote for one, blame the constitution for allowing me to be born!

    • Dan

The Constitution is a work of genius; it hasn’t been surpassed before or since, but being the best country in the world isn’t saying s****, we’re like the valedictorian of summerschool.

  • Mondobeyondo

One of the reasons why people refuse to believe a totalitarian society cannot rise again, is because we didn’t learn the first, or second, or third time around.

  • Jay Sprueill

I wish I was wrong on this one, but I honestly believe it’s to late o turn things around, America has turned her back on GOD,so now GOD has lowered the shields from around us.

    • ProudInfidel

Jay, you’re not wrong at all. That is exactly what is going on. All of this was prophesied thousands of years ago. There is no doubt whatsoever that we are living in the end times. • John_P617

No one is “intruding into the decision process
of women over their own bodies.” Let me give
you another piece of philosophical fat to chew…
women have a choice whether or not to get
    pregnant. Period.

Rape? Ok. How many instances of abortion are
related to rape? Furthermore… which is
worse? Rape or murder? Both terrible? I
agree! So, why commit two terrible acts?
    FURTHERMORE… the baby being murdered
didn’t do anything to anyone. That baby just
tried to be born. That’s it. What’s that baby’s

To quote you again, Colin… “I am a
progressive. I am not a control freak. My
philosophy in life is this, if you do what makes
you happy, and it doesn’t harm someone else, I
am OK with that. By harm, I mean physical or
mental abuse.” Abortion is abusive. Heck, it’s
beyond abusive. It’s murder! And, the reason
for the murder? The motive? Because the
baby being murdered would be an
inconvenience. Come on man. That’s terrible.

Really what this boils down to is women are
being told that it’s ok to be promiscuous. There
    is neither consequence nor responsibility
associated with it. It’s encouraged. At what
cost? The cost of a HUMAN LIFE. That’s what it
    really boils down to Colin.

    • Gay Veteran

Karl Denninger, one of the founders of the Tea Party movement, says that if you do cannot control your own body then you are not free.
Sorry, but I’m willing to enslave women for 9 months if they become pregnant.

      • Hammerstrike

A fetus is not one´s own body, you dumbass.

        • Gay Veteran

so I guess Hammerstrike has adopted an unwanted baby, right?

Inflation is going to rise even faster, gutting medicare, social security, TANF and the 80 odd other programs.
“Tweaking a few things”, taxing the rich and the corporations just won´t be enough.

Ayn Rand´s dream would come true thanks to the sheer number of greedy, gullible, usefull idiots like you, not because of conservatives or those evil, evil Corporations.
Sure it´ll be a vicious third-world cesspool but for once, you´ll be the one feeding others.

Soilent Green, for Change We Can Believe In!

      • Orcslayer

He’s right. A woman has the right to control their own bodies. Therefore, she has the right NOT to get pregnant. After that, she’s stuck with her choice until the kid comes out.

        • Gay Veteran

          That’s your opinion.

btw, you willing to pay yet more in taxes to support unwanted babies or adopt some yourself?

          • Orcslayer

Neither, thats the parents job. Abortion kills a person,(a plain and simple fact) Abortion is evil. Those who support it join the ranks of Mao, Stalin, Hitler, & ISIS.

          • Gay Veteran

OIC. You’re the typical anti-abortion type. You want to force women to give birth but then you are not willing to bear any of the resulting burden.

    • fgbouman

Fetuses are not humans. Humanity is attained later in life. Aborting a fetus should be solely a decision of a woman in consultation with her doctor. Big Brother has no right to interfere in this. Neither do the little minds that insist that fetuses be born but then deny them the right to a decent life after birth.

  • Liberal…progressive…democRat….people to stupid to know they’re communists.

  • The Stand

A psychopath once said after being caught “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s that you (non-psychopaths) are so Stupid”. The demonic maniacs that infested the US Government and Big Business need the closed-minded idiocy of the Average American in order-to-succeed. For example, I always hear “Did you get the score for such and such game?” or “Oh, it’s so horrible how that crazed kid flipped out and killed people! “We need to get rid of guns” or even “Congress and Obama will cut taxes to help the middle class.” Obama supporter: “The fiscal deal works! But why is my paycheck so much smaller now?”

My point is the United States will continue to suffer the dystopic disease of tyranny as long as the Average American keeps their mental cruise control set to “Sucker”. Criminal Psychopaths design elaborate predatory traps years in the making just to reap maximum benefits for themselves and maximum casualties to their prey (Us). Americans actually place their full faith and give their cooperation to a type of human that has absolutely no conscience, no restraint, no remorse, no compassion. Avarice and Sadism are key components to our “masters” mindsets. Keep being all day suckers Americans, but Count on your grand-children spitting on your mass graves because you let these diabolical cowards win without the slightest effort.

I just read “One Inch Below The Surface (America, You’re Being Punked)”. This is an article from the Automatic Front. It’s a very good article. I suggest that you read it, Michael.

When I was reading this article, I was thinking about a theory I heard about in the 2000’s called the Shock Doctrine. In this theory, the elite create one crisis after another, until the people are numb to the effect. This constant state of crisis permits the elite to expand their power and to limit the people’s role in the political and economic sphere.

“Los Estados Unidos has turned into a banana republic, a fascist banana republic.”—Gerald Celente

“The police and the military have become nothing more than enforcers for the crime bosses.”—Gerald Celente

“If the United States or Israel goes to war with Iran, it’s the beginning of World War III. Our lives will be hell after that. If you think we have a Gestapo state right now, you haven’t seen anything yet, because it’s not going to stop.”—Gerald Celente

“Barack Obama is so dangerous because he makes people that are traditionally anti-torture, anti-war, anti-police state
just say, ‘Hey, I want NDAA. I want troops on the street. I want TSA sticking their hands down our pants. I want banker bailouts because it’s Obama.’ And strong conservatives went to sleep under Bush because hey, he’s a Republican.”—Alex Jones

“Government’s getting more insane. The police are getting more insane. Where does it end?”—Alex Jones

“Without bread, Americans will be consoled by circuses for only so long. One more bailout, another high-ranking government official caught with his hand in the till, one more indication that the Marie Antoinettes who inhabit the District
of Columbia believe themselves above the law—and then, watch out. It could get ugly.”—Justin Raimondo,

“We can expect a continuous and dangerous march towards corporatism and even fascism with even more loss of our liberties. Prosperity for our large middle class, though, will become an abstract dream.”—Ron Paul

“We don’t have due process until this NDAA thing is resolved.”—Abby Martin

“The US is a banana republic: bigger, richer and more successful than most, but a banana republic in every sense of the word.”—Bill Perdue

“A proto-fascist movement that coalesces around a mystical nationalism, that fuses the symbols of the country with those of Christianity, that denigrates reason and elevates mass emotions will have broad appeal. It will offer to followers a leap from the deep pit of despair and frustration to the heights of utopia. It will speak in the language of violence and demonize the vulnerable, from undocumented workers to homosexuals to people of color to liberals to the poor. And this force, financed by the most retrograde elements
of corporate capitalism, could usher in a species of corporate fascism in a period of economic or environmental instability. ”—Chris Hedges

“You can do real time in jail in America for all kinds of ridiculous offenses. Here we have a bank that
laundered $800 million of drug money, and they can’t find a way to put anybody in jail for that. That sends an incredible message, not just to the financial sector but to everybody. It’s an obvious, clear double standard, where one set
of people gets to break the rules as much as they want and another set of people can’t break any rules at all without going to jail.”—Matt Taibbi

“As the economy unravels, as hundreds of millions of
Americans confront the fact that things will not get better, life for those targeted by this culture of hate will become increasingly difficult. Rational debate will prove useless.”—Chris Hedges

“All the themes of incipient fascism are present, to some degree, in our present-day political culture: the fear of The Other, the need for a powerless scapegoat, including the theme of expansionism.”—Justin Raimondo,

The police state, however, will not make the BRA safer, only more repressive. Nor will it reduce violent crime or prevent the arrival of The Desperate People Doing Desperate Things Tax (DPDDTT). Expect to be abused by both cops and robbers as the BRA goes from bad to worse.

so how many unwanted babies have YOU adopted? None? then STHU

    • otter1111

Last time I checked, there were waiting periods for newborn adoptions. So you’re saying you can’t be pro-life unless you adopt children? What nonsense. The bottom line still remains-abortion kills an innocent human being.

      • Gay Veteran

“So you’re saying you can’t be pro-life unless you adopt children?”
that’s right! otherwise you are merely placing the entire buden on the woman

        • fgbouman

If you don’t adopt, then you are a hypocrite. Without abortion there will be millions of unwanted kids born. You will need to adopt your share.

    • You’re a tool and you need to go hide in a dark room because you’re a sad excuse for a human.

      • Gay Veteran

hey Matt, how many unwanted babies have YOU adopted?

  • Mark

Zero hedge has a post about The City that never sleeps going to use drones with their police department.

  • Lalo

They might as well just put shock collars on all of us

  • Gay Veteran

“Had a few of them as childhood friends.”
I asked how many unwanted babies have YOU adopted.
Quit trying to enforce slavery on women

    • Hammerstrike

Nope but that is irrelevant, especially without being a solid societal asset.
Should society kill orphans if no one wants to adopt them, since their lives are so not worth living? I doubt even Objectivists would agree.

There are already not enough young people to pay for your pensions, so you people who supported abortion have screwed yourselves, in the Big One, the governement is sure going to cut you guys off to focus everything on the police state.
I don´t mind paying extra taxes, even if I don´t make that much, so they can have a good education, instead of just wanting to bill everyone better off than me.
It sure beats supporting individuals who indebted themselves instead of saving, voted in liars and charlatans for+50 years and now want younger generations to pay for their MacMansions.
Instead, you´ll have to farm sewer rats for meat, work dynamos, help build roads to pay for your medicare.

Slavery, nice you would mention that.
Why take away the choice of people to own a slave? Quite trying to imposing slavery on the people who would beneficiate from it!

      • Gay Veteran

Social Security is easily fixed, so abortion is NOT a factor when we have massive unemployment

        • Hammerstrike

With the current rate of borrowing, one can pay for both social security, selfare and military.
Without it, even these taken separatly cannot be affordable and your pensions are already getting eaten by inflation.

      • fgbouman

How are they going to get educated when the fanatics who insist on their birth refuse to adopt them after birth?
        Hypocrites, one and all.

        • Hammerstrike

Well, those with the wrong number of chromosomes are off to the owens instead, lol!

Those fanatics are still better than those scumbags who would rather kill out of convenience.

That category cost society far more than an orphan.

  • Anon

Anyone got any bibles to burn. I want to piss a lot of ppl off!

  • Dan

Oh, I think Ronny Rayguns and Kings George I and II had pretty much turned us into a police state before high yellow came on the scene. Had a piss test lately? Huh? Been to a prison-either state or corporate run? They don’t have cells anymore! It’s more like an aircraft hanger! In 1980 prison pop was 500,000 and AR (after Reagan) it shot up to 2 million! Tell me about a police state.

  • Dan

Too bad Reagan’s parents weren’t pro choice. I’m sure they would have made the right one!

  • Kat

The first paragraph of this article is stupid. Countries like North Korea and the Soviet Union, when it existed, where much worse than the United States. People were and are killed there for just “thinking” something. Ever read 1984? “Thought crime” was a real thing, it was called Kempeitai, a Japanese secret police that killed people for having “unpatriotic” thoughts. That is totalitarianism. This article is a joke, you should be happy where you live. Not many people in this world have as much as we Americans do, this just shows how greedy and ungrateful we are. More than half the world population lives in a dump, at least the U.S. gives some care about poverty unlike other countries.

  • fgbouman

Exactly what is a human? What is a fetus if not a parasite?
As for Reagan’s quote – the only people in favor of anything are those who have been born. The unborn have no capacity to be in favor of anything.

    • otter1111

In history leaders have often used word games to dehumanize the vulnerable. Hitler often called the Jews parasites. Would you call a baby that is born a parasite too? They certainly need help and care from someone. Is every fetus a parasite? So you can go kill some seal fetus and that’s OK? Or would that be more repugnant to you than killing a unborn baby?
