Our world has become a really, really bizarre place.  The pace of change has become so rapid that nobody can really keep up with all of the important things that are happening right now.  Today, more events of significance will happen in a single week than used to happen in an entire month.  If we were able to go to sleep right now and wake up in exactly 10 years, we would awaken to a world that would be virtually unrecognizable to us.  To get an idea of just how fast the world is changing, just check out this short YouTube video.  Keep in mind that neither YouTube or Facebook even existed 10 years ago.  Prior to the 20th century, our forefathers could pretty much count on the fact that the world that their children would live in would be pretty much the same world that they lived in.  Today, we can’t even really know what next year is going to look like.  We live during an unprecedented time in human history.  Global events are building toward a crescendo.  The pace of life just seems to get faster and faster and faster.  I don’t know about you, but for me days just seem to fly by.  It is inconceivable that anyone could be “bored” in this day and age.  If it was always your desire to live during a time in which you can “make history”, then you certainly got your wish.

The news headlines that you are about to read are all real.  Some of them are funny, some of them are shocking and all of them are bizarre.

You might find yourself laughing or smiling at many of these headlines, and there is nothing wrong with that.  But there is also a very serious message here.

The world that we once knew is gone.

A new world is emerging.

Sadly, the new world that is arising might not look anything like what many of us were hoping for.

…and these are the headlines we do know about. How many things are brought to bear on the citizenry that never get captured in the MSM/Alternate Media? Even without drifting off into “tin foil” fantasies one can easily note that these headlines could almost be a distraction to the real things happening. Kind of like a stage magician who uses that beautiful girl to distract you so he can perform the real trick without you seeing it.

Follow the money and always ask, “so, what just happened while I was enamored with this story?” Usually you will find that the “real story” is the one never reported.

What’s so bizarre about the atheist ads? I mean, there are lots of good atheists out here (including myself) and atheists are underrepresented in the prison system.

Number seven isn’t bizarre it’s just prudent, but you need to do your homework. Some but not much of this is the 24 hour news cycle, the internet and much more that used to be swept under the rug or dealt with internally #3, #4, #18. The rest is just the general craziness of our times, political correctness, over reaching officials, Muslims who are convinced they’re on ascendant and nothing can stop them, people who should get a hobby.

I think it was Karl Marx who said that sometimes decades go by with nothing happening and other times decades happen in a week.

I am probably somewhat misquoting this but you get the idea.

  • WLS

Well, if it makes you feel any better, in a few hundred years we’ll be right back to living like our ancient ancestors. The Information Age and all of its mind-bending wonders will exist in myth and legend, if at all. There will probably still be plenty of naked child beating (#3), though. That’s always been popular.

Hell yes, IRL post-apocalyptic cars at last! :-D

No I understand it’s really REALLY bizarre. Could you PLEASE let us know when it becomes really REALLY R E A L L Y bizarre??????

  • #1 “The mouse that tweets like a bird: Japanese scientists create genetically-modified animal”
I think they have a lot of free time, and these scientists are just bored of their old stuff to create such as this one. Maybe they’ll teach the mouse to use twitter and facebook…

I don’t know if SC has rural highschool graduations like Georgia’s, but in Georgia, it isn’t unusual for parents to be in the gym during graduation screaming and blasting air horns. No joke! I wouldn’t be surprised if this school has the same issue. I was at a friend’s public school graduation elsewhere, during which they had a hard time keeping the parents and friends from cheering for their particular graduates. No tickets were issued, but they took security seriously enough to have cops and a metal detector portal on hand.

Sure, it’s ridiculous to have cops ticketing well-wishers during graduation, but I can see where they would want to get the ceremony over and then let people woop it up. At this point, a highschool graduation seems like such a pointless non-event, I probably wouldn’t mind just getting the certificate in the mail while I’m out looking for work or applying to colleges.

I agree, it seems like everything is speeding up. Art Bell dubbed it “The Quickening” back in 1994. I don’t think these articles indicate things are really any different from normal. The news always looks for the wacky, the extreme, and the scary to get your attention. I can’t think of a time when it wasn’t like this in the news. Imagine reading the papers and watching the news in the 1960s! You got moon landings, Soviets on the march in Prague, presidents getting shot, Manson, Cuba, Vietnam, Nat’l Guard shooting rioting college kids, etc.

It only appears as time is speeding up because so many events are taking place in such a short period of time.

170 years ago if you wrote a person from Georgia to Virgina it would probably take a month or two just for that one person to get that letter and, depending if that person writes you directly after receiving the letter, it will take another month or two to get a response.

This day and age you send a quick text to someone and in milliseconds the next person gets it.

Unfortunately for the sheeple the media will never tell the truth and continuously report on sunshines and rainbows, how the dems hate the repubs, how the repubs hate everyone/thing, or if Lady GaGa will skin alive a Martian and wear it as a dress.

I also read a theory about the Earth giving off a “pulse,” but I couldn’t understand it.

Here is another one that just came up:

Utah man cited by police and made to pay a fine for paying a doctor’s bill in pennies:

  • Read every one of them,

I know the world is a mess, the problem is that most people thing this kind stuff is NORMAL!!!!!!!!!
