19 Signs That Israel And Iran Are On The Verge Of War

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

There is going to be war in the Middle East.  It is just a matter of time until it happens.  Israel has decided that there is no way that it can ever allow Iran to develop the capability to build nuclear weapons.  Iran has gone “all-in” on developing a nuclear program and it has become a matter of national pride at this point.  Iran does not fear an Israeli attack against its nuclear program.  In fact, Iran anticipates that an Israeli attack would cause the Islamic nations of the Middle East to come together and declare war against Israel.  Sadly, there is a very strong chance that an Israeli attack on Iran would actually spark a larger regional war.  But there is no way that Israel is going to allow Iran to develop the capability to build nuclear weapons, and time for a strike may be running out.  It has become quite clear that the Obama administration does not want to strike Iran.  So if Israel wants to do something about Iran, Israel is going to have to be the one to do it.  But if Obama wins the U.S. election in November, he might work to actively block Israel from attacking Iran for his entire second term, and the Israelis believe that by 2016 it will be way too late to do anything about Iran’s nuclear program.  If Israel attacks before the election, Obama would be in danger of appearing to be “anti-Israel” if he came out against the attack.  And considering the fact that Jewish voters are a key voting block in swing states such as Florida that is not something he would want to do.  But after the election Obama would not have to worry about what Jewish voters think.  After the election Obama could move to block an attack on Iran indefinitely.

Of course if Mitt Romney wins the upcoming election things would likely be different.  Romney has taken a much harder line against Iran than Obama has.

But the Israelis know that the upcoming election could go either way.

In fact, if the election was held today Obama would probably win.

That is why the next couple of months are such a potentially dangerous time for the Middle East.

If Israel does not move against Iran now, moving against them later could be far more difficult if Obama wins a second term.

So when could we potentially see an attack?

Well, it probably would not happen prior to or during the very important Jewish holidays that are coming up in late September and early October.

That means that the most likely time for a strike would be between mid-October and election day in the United States in early November.

But will it actually happen?

Only time will tell.

The following are 19 signs that Israel and Iran are on the verge of war….

#1 Major drills simulating missile strikes have recently been held in Tel Aviv.

#2 The Israeli military has been distributing brochures to the Israeli population instructing them what to do in the event that Israel launches a strike against Iran.

#3 Israel has ramped up the distribution of gas masks to the general public.

#4 One recent poll found that 25 percent of all Israelis said that they would leave the country if Iran got nuclear weapons.  The pressure on the Israeli government to do something before it is too late is enormous.

#5 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly declared that negotiations with Iran have failed.

#6 Netanyahu reportedly “got into a diplomatic shouting match with US Ambassador Dan Shapiro” recently over what to do about Iran.

#7 According to Ynet News, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is in favor of striking Iran….

“Barak is advocating for action and the defense establishment is investing billions to prepare for an Israeli military operation”

#8 Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren told MSNBC recently that the Israeli clock for a strike on Iran “is ticking faster” than the Obama administration clock.

#9 Former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy made the following statement back at the beginning of August….

“If I were an Iranian, I would be very fearful of the next 12 weeks”

#10 According to a new UN report, Iran’s nuclear program continues to grow stronger.  The following is from a recent article in the Jerusalem Post….

“A UN report released earlier in the day revealed that Iran doubled the number of uranium enrichment machines it has in an underground bunker, showing that Tehran continued to defy Western pressure to stop its atomic work and the threat of Israeli attack.”

#11 Senior Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami recently gave the following warning about what will happen if Israel strikes Iran….

“They have seen our missiles with a range of 2,000 kilometers in the Islamic Republic’s exercises, and in case of an attack, Tel Aviv will turn into ashes.”

#12 Iran is planning to hold a “massive air defense drill” during the month of October.

#13 Iran is promising to take military action against Israel if the United States attacks Syria.

#14 A retired Hezbollah general says that Iran wants to build a nuclear weapon to “create a balance of terror with Israel” and “finish off the Zionist enterprise.

#15 Debka’s military and intelligence sources are reporting that Iran will have enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear weapon by October 1st.

#16 Something very unusual appears to be happening in Iran.  According to a report that was recently posted on Steve Quayle’s website, one Iranian family is reporting that Iranians are being ordered to stay inside for the next two weeks….

The husband said that their government has just shut sown the whole country for 2 weeks. Every business and every dwelling is ordered to close. Every citizen ordered to stay in their home. If they go out they are stopped by police and will have to show their id and or papers. Her husband said they are being told it is because the Arab leaders are meeting with their government for the next 2 weeks, and that’s all they were told.

#17 Russian President Vladimir Putin has severed military ties with both Iran and Syria.

#18 The Obama administration is so worried about an Israeli attack in Iran before the election that they are taking very public measures to let Israel know that they will be “on their own” if they decide to go through with it.

#19 A joint U.S./Israeli military exercise scheduled for late October has been dramatically scaled back by the Obama administration according to Time Magazine….

Well-placed sources in both countries have told TIME that Washington has greatly reduced the scale of U.S. participation, slashing by more than two-thirds the number of American troops going to Israel and reducing both the number and potency of missile interception systems at the core of the joint exercise.

Obama is apparently nervous about having a large contingent of U.S. forces over in Israel just prior to election day.  If Israel were to strike Iran at that time, U.S. forces could potentially be caught in the middle of a major conflict.

So will Israel roll the dice and launch an attack before the election even without the support of the Obama administration?

I think the odds of such an attack have increased, but I still believe that it won’t happen before election day.

But I could be wrong.

The truth is that war in the Middle East is seemingly inevitable, and when it happens it could very well set off World War III.

War is always horrible.  Nobody should desire death and destruction.  But at this point it is really hard to see how war in the Middle East is going to be avoided.

  • Paul

This has nothing to do with Israel’s security and everything to do with the desire of the Jewish Mafia that runs Israel (And America) to dominate the Middle East, lording it over a bunch of divided, warring Arab states that can be easily controlled. Netanyahu would be among history’s greatest liars and criminals.

    • A.S.

If you actually believe in these blood libels, then you should be the first in line to petition the U.S. to give back all of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, to Mexico.

And if Mexico or Canada were to send just one missile into cities like L.A. or NYC, how quickly do you think Obama would respond with brute force? Yeah, you anti-semites continue to believe in lies proven false decades ago.

And Netanyahu a war criminal? What about Arafat? What about everyone in the U.N.? What about mostly everyone in Congress?

How do you think the U.S. would act if both Mexico and Canada were constantly sending missile and suicide bombers over the border. I wish that this would actually happen so that people like you would live in constant fear. Every U.S. city should receive a wave of missile every day from Canada and Mexico so that the U.S. will understand what Israel deals with on a daily basis.

God Bless You and Israel. Theose who are with Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed

        • Bill

I liked what you said, I am with Israel to.

      • edomar2r

I agree with you. When I was living in my country we would be in constant fear of the civil war that had duration of 11 years. The gorillas and military would terrorize the population the same way. Here the only ones that will suffer the consequences are the citizen. All of these countries that hate Israel will in no way think twice about using nuclear bombs against Israel. I’m grateful for this country but the time has come where the same people controlling all these wars now want to destroy this country and what it stands for. I would not be surprised if some organization from the US was providing documentations and resources to Iran on how to build these bombs, they linger in the shadows manipulating these sellout politicians that serve their masters and not the people. As for us in the U.S.A lest prepare if Obama is put as president(puppet) again he will go all out on us with his policies, police state, martial law, and anything he can think of to take our liberties away. There is a reason for the FEMA camps, Fusion Center, TSA, what you see in other countries with wars, faming, catastrophes, and these people want to bring that home. Lest prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

As a Canadian, I can say with real confidence that my countrymen would NEVER fire missiles into the USA.

Not unless they did something utterly reprehensible, like invading our land, killing or driving out our citizenry, occupying our best real estate and creating “Americans only” zones, stripping us of basic human rights in the face of myriad UN resolutions, tearing up our maple trees, arresting/detaining/torturing/murdering our youth, and then demanding that we swear or sign a statement that Canada is and always was and always will be an American homeland.

Then… we might start lobbing at least a few frozen hockey pucks.

And who could possibly blame us???

    • marK

When Iran states in public many times that they want to destroy the Jews how would you expect them to react? Iran and the rest of the middle east should worry that if they back Israel up against a wall their last punch would be some of the many nukes that they have in stock.

Really? You’re gonna quote leftists that dont like Israel? The same paper that ran holocaust denials (It’s called the Holodomor) of Stalin’s Russia?

Meanwhile, for the rest of you. Get it straight from the horse’s mouth.

Here are a few of his gems

“the nations of the region will soon finish off the usurper Zionists in the Palestinian land”.

“A new Middle East will definitely take shape, but with the grace of God and the help of the nations in this new Middle East, there will be no American or Zionist presence in it.”
How you gonna remove Israel from the Middle East? How you gonna remove us from the M.E.?

“any freedom lover and justice seeker in the world must do its best for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the path for the establishment of justice and freedom in the world…”

“with God’s grace, this regime will be annihilated and Palestinians and other regional nations will be rid of its bad omen.”

“The Zionist regime wants to establish its base upon the ruins of the civilizations of the region…The uniform shout of the Iranian nation is forever ‘Death to Israel.’…”

“I warn you to abandon the filthy Zionist entity, which has reached the end of the line. It has lost its reason to be and will sooner or later fall. The ones who still support the criminal Zionists should know that the occupiers’ days are numbered. … Accept that the life of Zionists will sooner or later come to an end.”

“With God’s help, the countdown button for the destruction of the Zionist regime has been pushed by the hands of the children of Lebanon and Palestine . . . By God’s will, we will witness the destruction of this regime in the near future.”

Israel already has 100s of nuclear weapons

    • lee

      right. thats exactly whats happening.

the palestnians fired over 300 missles into israel this year already and how many did isrel fire into palestine ?

do you really think the palestinians have the money to buy and fire 300 missles ?

and if someone put 300 missiles in one year in any other country, d you really think that contry would pt up with it ?

IMO, if the entire world wasnt so soft on muslim extremism; israel and the rest of world would have taken care of these threats years ago and muslims that have stated they want to wipe israel off the map would have no capacity t build a fighter jet, let alone nulear weapons.

yet, here we are with the most volatile region of the wrld about to go nuclear with a dictatorhip.

      • whoisbiggles

All of the missiles fired from Gaza have been crappy home-made affairs.

And when I say crappy I mean made from scrap metal tubing, tin cans etc, barely able to fly past the buffer zone.

They are of lesser quality than a rocket kit you can pick up from a hobby store.

Any rockets bought from Iran have not been fired into Israel since the end of the war in Southern Lebanon. Iran is making sure not to give the Israelis an excuse for starting the next war.

    • michael

You’re crazy. This has everything to do with security. If you had a neighbor across the street from you saying you should be killed…wouldn’t you do something? Do some research before you post. Israel has always attacked AFTER being attacked….every country has the right to defend themselves.

Wow, looking at that battle for the White House map, I wish Mexico would just come and take California, or at least the Southern part of it so Obama would loose that many electoral votes. We would probably want to keep the Central Valley since they grow produce for most of the nation though. But I think Mexico should at least take the cesspool of Southern California from us and cause Obama to loose a ton of his electoral votes.

    • OldPhart OutIn TheDesert

As one who IS in Southern California, in the largest geographical district in the Continental United States that happens to be VERY Conservative (i.e. San Bernardino County), in a town so conservative our most famous residents were Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, I would appreciate a little more definition of that suggested Mexican take-over.

My preference would be for Arizona or Nevada to annex us or march enough of their national guard to provide a buffer of this county between their state on the Mexican Army.

Not that it makes any difference since the Mexican Army has made frequent intrusions into Southern Arizona (yep, they have and are and you haven’t heard about it!) to protect drug lords.

Of course, I’d be all for the conquest of Los Angeles, all the way up to the coast to San Francisco. There’s nothing along that stretch but liberals.

      • Matthew

In that case, I want a Mexican takeover of that stretch of the coastline. It would wipe out a ton of the 55 votes and from the sound of it, change the remaining ones into Romney votes. I also have heard of a desolate stretch of Southern Arizona running from the border up to Phoenix controlled by drug cartels.

I’ll post the following commentary before the first anti-semitic, anti-Israel and “occupier” blather gets started….

Yes, the facts are facts but people believe what they want or simply try and re-write history. For what it’s worth, some facts for the Israel haters….

If only Israel would “return” the land it “stole” from Palestinian Arabs there would be a new Palestinian state: that’s the world’s simplistic view of how peace can be won in the Middle East. Despite the continuous repetition of this theme by media, diplomats, world leaders and Arabs, it disregards one foundational truth: Israel does not possess or “occupy” today any land that ever belonged to Palestinian Arabs.

Furthermore, there was never a “Palestinian Arab” until 1993 and the Oslo Accords. It was then that the United States crowned Yasser Arafat as the leader of a new pseudo-state and dubbed its citizens “Palestinians.” Now the world treats the Arabs who live in Israel as if they are citizens of a separate state, giving them multimillions of dollars each year in financial aid. These same world leaders also keep demanding that Israel give back or “return” to the “Palestinians” the land they supposedly took from them in the 1967 Six-Day War.

The world, quite frankly, is on the wrong side of history.

The world seems to forget that during the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel captured the territories of Judea and Samaria, often called the West Bank, from Jordan; the Golan Heights from Syria; and Gaza from Egypt. There was never an Arab Palestine nation.

In 1947 the United Nations voted to divide the land west of the Jordan River into two states, about half of it for an Arab state and half for a Jewish state. The Arabs refused the offer. The Jews accepted, declaring nationhood in May 1948. Five neighboring Arab armies immediately attacked the new Jewish state, and the God of Israel, along with the courageous Jewish people, miraculously defended the existence of the new Israel. Jordan took sovereignty over Judea and Samaria and Egypt over Gaza. 1948: No Palestinian Arab state or Palestinian Arabs on those lands.

The 1917 Balfour Declaration designated the British-controlled area of what is now Jordan and Israel as “a homeland for the Jewish people.” In 1922, however, Britain gave 80 percent of the territory (all the land east of the Jordan River) to the Arabs for a state, which they called Trans-Jordan. Still no Palestinian Arab state; no Palestinian Arabs.

From 1900 to 1948, The Zionism movement brought some 650,000 Jews from European and Asian countries to populate the ancient Jewish homeland. For some 400 years before World War I, the Ottoman Empire controlled the land in question. Before that, the Byzantine Empire ruled the area. Even then, no Palestinian Arab state existed on this land.

Why not go back even farther yet? Accurate historical reports in the Torah and Tenah inform us that this land belonged to the Jewish people for some two thousand years. These Scriptures behold what is called the Biblical Mandate, where the God of Israel promised all this land to Abraham, the father of the Jewish people and nation, and to his seed as an “eternal possession.” Interestingly, Prime Minister Netanyahu often claims this Biblical Mandate is still in effect today.

Yielding to world pressure, several previous Prime Ministers of Israel, under the slogan “Land for Peace,” offered to give the Arabs the land they are demanding. Although Israel has not given full sovereignty to the Arabs over the West Bank and Gaza, they have given them self-government and a great deal of independence. However, these efforts of “land for peace” have not produced peace, but instead continuing Arab terrorism and warfare.

Meanwhile, Israel and her Jewish people continue to hope and strive for peace with their Arab neighbors. Someone has said, “If the Arabs would lay down their arms, there would be peace and no warfare, but if Israel laid down its arms, there would be no Israel.” That is the reality for Israel today, as it has been for all of its 64 years as a restored nation.

“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for allpeople: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, thoughall the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zech12:3).

    • 1stVArifleman

All of what you say is great, and from what I can tell quickly reading it is accurate. I’m glad someone did take the time to write something about facts of the establishment of modern Israel.

However, the conflict between the Jews and Arabs who inhabited modern Israel under British occupation prior to a creation of Israel has no relevance to whether Israel has a right to a preemptive strike on Iran or not. Israel is its own sovereign nation and if they choose to attack Iran on their own accord than so be it. Although, if Israel does attack then they need to deal with the consequences of their own actions. There should be no running and begging big brother US-Anglo military to come to our aide because we bit off way more than we could chew.

Israel has all the right in the world to defend itself, just as any other nation has that right as well. However, when you attack someone for something they might do in the future, because they have a weapon that you have too. Well that is clearly an act of aggression and Iran would have just as much right to defend itself as the Israelis do when defending themselves against Arab attacks on their borders and in their current lands.

Don’t take this the wrong way I am in no way in favor of Iran. I’m just looking at the facts objectively and from a purely Constitutional/Libertarian American standpoint.

Also, you should definitely look into the Balfour Declaration more. Focusing on the the financial family that was behind that declaration and their personal and continual involvement with geopolitics since at least the Napoleonic Wars. If you do you will see how deep the ‘rabbit hole’ truly goes in this crazy world.

Anyways, great post. Good use of history to bring about your points.

      Long Live the Constitutional Republic!
      Sic Semper Tyrannis!

“Israel does not possess or “occupy” today any land that ever belonged to Palestinian Arabs.”

LOL! Don´t play with semantics, the territory may or may not be Palestinian but it certainly was arab, its arab population had private property, which was mostly seized.
If they can´t keep it or take it back, their bad but North America and european countries doesn´t have to send financial, military aid and “loans”.

      • Mahabone

Israel is Arab in the same sense that America is British.

There is one way to avoid war in the middle east. The M.A.D. doctrine. Any nuclear attack on Israel, by Iran, Iran sponsored terrorists, or any Iranian ally. Will cause a massive retaliatory nuclear strike by Israel on Iran and any other involved groups or countries. Remember Israel already has the Sampson doctrine. They go down, the entire middle east goes with them. Yes they do have that kind of firepower. Remember when we thought N.Korea, was getting near a nuclear weapon? The truth was, they already had two. I suspect it is the same with Iran. Israel may attack, to stop Iran from building nukes. Only to find they already have one or two. But as many of us know, this is in the Lord`s hands.

    • Gat

M.A.D. only works between two States. Unaccountable terrorists (with out territory to bomb) do not care about MAD

      • Mondobeyondo

Maybe so, but the repercussions spread far and wide.

      • K

Gat, even terrorists are based somewhere. M.A.D. is not a preferable way to go, but it beats a premptive war. And for those who say the Iranians are madmen, and this would not work. Remember we thought the USSR was crazy as well.

What happens if the Nuclear Plant in Iran spontaneously blows up? The entire atomic plant goes into critical mass and starts a nuclear countdown.
You may ask, how could this happen? The problem might be a change in the rules governing Nuclear Physics. I refer to the wires controlling the plant.
The Sun is generating some very strong magnetic fields because of the explosions on the surface of the Sun. Some of these explosions are generating enormous plazma jets out past the orbits of the inner planets, which are magnetic. It could be only a matter of time before one of these fields hits the Earth. If that happens, a lot of nuclear material might start acting strange as huge amounts of electricity is generated through it. Enough to burn up critical circuits and set off the material in those plants.
The last time this happened was something called the Carrigan Event of 1859. I refers to huge magnetic fields that attacked the telegraph transformers all up and down the east coast of the United States. Anything with copper wire started generating a lot of electricity! This actually burned up a lot of copper wire in the telegraph stations including the electric transformers used to make signals between stations. It hasn’t happened since, though I am suspicious of the blackouts in the 70s all up and down the east coast of the US. Some say they were caused by Russian Satellites generating radiation to shutdown critical plants.
I suggest we offer sanctuary to any Israel citizen that wants to leave Israel at this time. That includes entire families. Give them the option to get the innocent civilians away before it becomes a blood bath in Israel. Let Israel know we wish them no harm at all. We only want peace and safety for them and their families.
The problem with war is someone has to lose. It is not necessarily the one we think is going to lose. Israel has a long track record of being a very good military power. They cannot afford to lose once. The arab nations know this. The arab countries do not have anywhere near the track record of “wins” in the Middle East. Iran is different. I suggest we need to step very cautiously there.
I think if Iran knew what Obama must know, then they would shut the entire nuclear program down voluntarily. If you are holding a stick of dynamite in your hand and it sponstaneously goes off, you lose a whole lot of body parts. In an earlier article, Michael, you stated that Obama had been shutting down the nuclear missiles here. Why? if what I have stated is true, then that would be a good reason to do so. Those weapons could blow up in our faces. What I have stated is conditional on me being right about the Solar Flares. This has been one of the most violent seasons of Solar Flares we have seen in a long time. It is not over with by a long shot. It should go all the way into the Spring of next year or even longer.
I think the good book says, “Those that live by the sword shall die by the sword.”
Maybe it is bad business for us to be in the center of what could be a major conflict in the next few weeks or months. Maybe we should withdraw our troops until the smoke clears. When both sides have litered the landscape with their armies and dead, then we can march in and take over. But not until both sides have exhausted their fire power.
What profit is there in arab nations fighting one another? Because I see a civil war happening between them, as each has a different view of their faith and each wants to force the other to believe as they believe. I say step aside, because who ever interferes will not profit from it. When they have all duked it out, then the time is right to step in, not before.

  • 1stVArifleman

Sadly war is always inevitable. War is as much as part of the human experience as agriculture, engineering, religion, economics, and health care.

The conflict between Israel and Iran though is quite stupid. No one wants anyone to have a nuke but when they do all you need to do to counter it is ‘MAD,’ or Mutual Assured Destruction. Basically if you let yours fly we’ll let ours fly and then we both lose. This is basically what prevented Nuclear War in the Cold War.

I know people will say ‘but Iran is different, they are Islamic-Fascists, who want to spread an Islamic Caliphate across the Middle East and will attack Israel.’ Well despite that claim, the Persians have not been a threat to spread their territory since Xerxes was defeated by the Greeks. Also, the Persian people have never been conquered asked Leonidas, Crassus, and Saddam if these people can fight. They are not going to just roll over if they are attacked; they will fight back and probably to the bitter end.

Whether you want to agree with it or not, Iran has as much of right to have Nuclear Weapons as any other sovereign nation on earth. And, you do not bomb someone for something they might do in the future, just as you shouldn’t arrest someone for a crime they might commit in the future. Countries just as people need to be responsible for their actions!

The only reason to bomb someone is if you truly intend to destroy and conquer them as an enemy. There is no such thing as missile diplomacy. The only reason the US should bomb anyone is if there is a declared state of war by Congress and we are defending our homes or the Bill of Rights.

That same policy should apply to any nation on earth, including Israel. They should have no right to attack a country for something they might do. If Israel does commit a preemptive strike it is on their own accord and they should deal with the consequences on their own. (Do not be scared into this war by any Biblical references of Israel. The people who run Israel are loyal to the Rothschilds and have no Semitic blood. They are converted Ashkenazi secular Jews. Meaning God is of no consideration to them in a political decision.)

As a concern of the United States strategically, Iran having a nuke is no more of threat than Pakistan, India, North Korea, China, or Russia having a nuke. In reality it is probably a lot less of a threat to the US than Russia or China for sure. The main reason being those two countries have a modern Navy and a modern Air Force with the capability of actually striking the US mainland with a Nuclear Weapon and devastating her with the EMP as well. Iran on the other hand is really only a direct threat to Israel and other countries within their strategic missiles ranges. Not to forget that a nuke would also prevent almost certainly any outside foreign invasion (now I wonder why Iran would would want that with the US attempting to achieve global hegemony). Iran is much more of a threat to the US by attempting to shut off the Straight of Hormuz, which would devastate the global economy, or by selling their oil for gold, instead of US dollars, to further weaken our dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency.

In addition we cannot forget Russia in all of this geopolitical balancing. I truly doubt the article that Michael linked about Russia is of any validity. I doubt Russia will give up it’s highly strategic Mediterranean Port in Syria so easily. Putin has vowed to Stand by Syria publicly in Russian press conferences. Putin has openly declared he will challenge the West/US ‘missile diplomacy’ as he put it. Also, Israel strikes Iran, Russia will be involved. Just for the plain and simple fact that they won’t allow the West to gain access the the strategic oil rich Caspian Sea. This is truly a ‘Guns of August’ type moment all over again. (Way to many entangling alliances in the world today!)

I don’t think Putin will back down from this fight. He has to much to gain by asserting Russia geo-politically again. It will strengthen Russia’s stance internationally and assure Putin’s place in history. With Putin being a man of ambition, he will always consider his place in history, for he will know it is his only true way to live forever.

We as Americans should definitely take George Washington’s advice from his 1796 Farewell Address, and mind our own business and steer clear of any permanent alliances. However, it looks reluctantly as if that advice will be ignored again. America in the near future will find herself pulled into another global war designed by global financial and corporate interests. These interests of course will profit greatly from the side line and then attempt to consolidate their power even more in the horrific aftermath of WWIII with a permanent global government who will prevent all wars, save humanity, and save earth.

Also, Michael I have a question for you. Why is it ok for you to use the word Zionist in your article, but it wasn’t ok for me to use it in one of my posts on your past article “U.S. Super Soldiers Of The Future Will Be Genetically Modified Transhumans Capable Of Superhuman Feats”?

I do realize you are referencing another article when you used Zionist, but that word is not in the title of that article. Though it is used inside the content of the article.

I’ll copy and paste my post where you blocked out the word Zionist:

A professor at VMI used to talk about this ‘Terminator’ stuff all the time. He taught a course called ‘Science and Securities,’ basically he told the class that it is not only a possibility but a certainty that soldiers of the future would be genetically and technologically enhanced.

At the time I kind of thought this guy (a Colonel) was crazy. The main reason being that I would always bring up the point that we can’t sacrifice what we are trying to protect, meaning our Bill of Rights and Constitution, to defeat ‘terrorism’. Which, I always would also state is a tactic and not a definable enemy with a ‘center of gravity.’

Thus, all this so called ‘War on Terror’ is a political struggle that is only meant to be sustained and not conquered. For, again, there is no ‘center of gravity’ to conquer. As von Clausewitz says in ‘En Krieg,’ “War is not an independent phenomenon, but the continuation of politics by different means….The political object is the goal, war is the means of reaching it, and the means can never be considered in isolation form their purposes…Everything in war is very simple. But the simplest thing is difficult….Pursue one great decisive aim with force and determination.”

The Colonel’s response, would always be cliche. “This is a different war, an ‘asymmetrical war,’ and sacrifices must be made…The threat is legitimate:” ’83 Beirut, ’93 WTC, ’98 Kenya and Tanzania, ’00 USS Cole, ’01 WTC and DOD. And at the time, I believed that, and would try to justify what I thought must be done to myself.

However, since then I’ve looked deeply into the Grand Strategic Level of War, which focuses on Financial and Political aspects of war, and they are truly damning to the established history as is taught in public schools. There is no doubt that the Rothschild banking dynasty and there banker agents all over the world have funded both sides of every major conflict since maybe the American Revolution, but undoubtedly since WWI. Which, includes this current conflict, the ‘Global War on Terror.’ Not to mention that ‘Al Qaeda’ was the CIA code word for the Mujahideen, and they are currently fighting our *************/Anglo/American-elitist proxy war in Syria against Syria, Iran, Russia, and China. In addition, don’t forget Al Qaeda killed Qaddafi for us too.

*Where the stars are (****************) it should read Zionist/Anglo/American-elitist proxy war.

I really don’t see what the big deal is about that word. It isn’t racist or hurtful. It is just a political term to describe people (usually Jewish and not Gentile, though according to many people there are many Gentiles who are Zionist as well) who are loyal to Israel and the Jewish people above all else. Which if that be the case then that really means Zionists are loyal to the Rothschilds more than anything. For, if anyone were to truly study the history and political references to the creation and establishment of a modern Jewish state over the years there is undeniable evidence of Rothschild pressure and control of the creation and maintenance of the modern Israeli state.

Anyways just wondering Michael…I hate double standards.

When (not if) Iran gets enough nuclear boms, it will be like North Korea. Saudi Arabia must get the bomb, followed by Turkey. Soon every Jihadi will be strapping nukes. Is that what we want?

  • Gat

Oh yeh, Pauls ignorance makes me smile

  • Dave Webb

No one wins a Nuclear World War. Not even China thinks they can win a nuclear conflict. And China definitely has the numbers. The Chinese Army is potentialy the largest on the planet. The result of a nuclear conflict can be radioactive clouds killing people all over the planet. Everyone loses.
“#17 Russian President Vladimir Putin has severed military ties with both Iran and Syria.” What has China done diplomatically? I see China becoming a major player in this area of the World. No one thinks China will enter a conflict, but I think they are wrong! I see the Chinese Navy in the region. Beware of Russians playing cautious. They are a player on the world stage. They do have a strong military even now. If they are backing off there is a good reason behind it.
China is a player for resources. Resources anywhere in the world that they can readily access them. I think everyone is under estimating China’s military in the Middle East. If they move into Iran, even Iran does not have the numbers to win a conventional war with China.
Everyone is looking the wrong way. Israel has a big stake in no one having nuclear arms. But China could want the oil resources of Iran and the way to get it might be to simply take over the country. Who would stop them? I don’t see Russia stopping them. I don’t feel we have the financial resources to do so. If nuclear bombs are not a factor, then it is down to conventional weapons and numbers.
What about the other Arab Nations? Most likely they would back off. In the past, the Arab Nations have not had the power to stop Israel by themselves. Why would anyone think they might have the resources to stop a major power like China? It is one thing to threaten tiny Israel, it is another to challenge someone like China. No one should be that stupid.

Iran leaders are belivers of the 12th Imam and starting a World War will bring their prophet to Earth to turn everyone Muslim. If you don’t believe they will start a war because of mutual distruction, then you don’t understand their thinking.

  • Randome-11

It almost seems as if republicans seeks defeat on purpose, lol! At least republicans knows they must simply not allow the kind of tactics used to dismisse Cain from the candidacy.

Iran already is a nuclear power, the Shah (the 1953-1979 one) had an atomic program running and supported by the United States by 1955.
Sometimes later the Persian governement worked in concert with South Africa and isreal, despite Persia facing troubles, there was a nuclear test in the Indian ocean in 1979.
A book written by some NATO generals in 1978 about WW3 in 1985 described Iran as a nuclear power by that time.

So what they seek is to cause whatever instability and unrest they can, until the Iranian governement is overthrowed or surrender ala Gorbatchev, what they want is a weak kleptocratic banana regime agreeing to disarme in the name of peace, allow Washington / IMF / Wall Street to dictate Iran´s internal and foreign policies.
Isreal plan is a “pre-emptive strike” against Saudi Arabia and the gulf states, possibly Turkey as well (they are more important than NATO to the US and holocaust a few tens of millions in western europe) to take over the arab oil installations, expand to become economically sovereign, a large conventional military power backed by nuclear capability makes much of that plan difficult.

The Iranian regime answers to its principles, even more, it answer to a higher power, instead of the naked self-interest of the social-marxists.

  • kytim89

Honestly, I do not see Israel winning the war in the long term. In the short term they will inflict heavy casulties upon their enemies. However, it will all be for not when the second wave of the united Islamic front washes over Israel’s borders and conquers it. Israel will have no other choice but to activate their Samson Protocol and vaporize large sections of the Middle East and Africa with nuclear weapons. Whole setions of the desert in that part of the world be turned into glass.

However, the conflict will not stop in the Middle East. Over the past few years there have been what is OTM (Other than Mexican) being caught at the southern border of the US. Most of them are members of Hezbollah and Hamas. Keep in mind that these groups have dealings with the narco gangs of Mexico, which have tenticles in all of America’s major cities. If a war with Iran were to occur then expect to see massive terrorist attacks being conducted within the mainland US. Mass panic would engulf our society as no one would know when or where a attack would occur.

The whole continent of Europe would crack like an egg and burn to a cynder because its Muslims population would go ape shit and burn major cities to the ground. Massive strret conflicts would occur as a result. The armies of Europe would round up Muslims and ceal off their boders as a result.

In the United States there would be massive food and fuel shortages. Mass looting and rioting breaks out in major cities and the parking lots of major food retailers becomes a battle ground for hungry Americans desperate for food, water, and medicine.

  • Eisenkreutz

Every Muslim country on the face of the Earth is a cesspool of terror, torture, opression, poverty, and murder. This is real simple. We should not be accepting any significant numbers of immigrants of believers in this faith, nor should we be involved in that part of the world, nor should we allow the idiot populace to be brainwashed into believing that all religions deserve to be respected. Why are we giving money to these countries when Sharia-compliant banks are forbidden to charge interest? DO YOU MORONS UNDERSTAND THAT THE STUPID MUSLIMS CREATED A BANKING SYSTEM THAT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE COUNTRIES TO BE WEALTHY, AND THEN OUR IDIOT GOVERNMENT STEALS OUR MONEY AND GIVES IT TO THE MUSLIMS? Why the hell are we shipping weapons to these people and then we are surprised when they use them on neighboring countries and then we turn around and fight wars against the people we just armed? HOW MUCH EVIDENCE DO PEOPLE HAVE TO SEE BEFORE THEY FINALLY GET IT THROUGH THEIR THICK SKULLS THAT ALL GOVERNMENTS ARE THE BANE OF HUMANITY?

Rene, yeah but try and tell that to all these Israel supporters. This site is great and the commenters seem really smart, except on this issue. They’ll talk about how horrible Islam is but what about the Talmud? They actually think the Jews are our friends! I’d laugh if it wasn’t so sad. Nobody seems to realize that if we minded our own business and let Israel deal with the mess they’ve created, we wouldn’t be a target of “Islamic extremists” at all! I wonder how many of them are in the military, fighting and dying overseas for Israel (because what are We The People getting out of these wars other than debt and dead/maimed soldiers)? I know I’m just an anti-Semite (because I don’t buy the propaganda AND have read the Talmud) but it’s infinitely preferable to being a deluded fool that cheerleads for the worst side in the conflict. Maybe they’ll change their tune once the nukes start going off a little closer to home (God forbid).

Gerald Celente has often said that if Iran and Israel go at it, that’s the beginning of World War III—especially if The Banana Republic of America jumps in on the side of Israel. And the BRA will be going to war with Iran regardless of whether Barack “Goldman Sachs” Obama or Mitt “Wall Street” Romney wins in November. The neocon bloodlust will not be denied. Signore Celente has also been saying that when all else fails economically, the politicians take you to war—and there’s no way that this ponzi scheme of an economy can be saved. So get ready for war in Iran. Get ready for the next Romney/Obama/War Party economic stimulus plan: war.

“These are Gerald Celente’s three Gs: gold, guns and a getaway plan. If you want to keep bombing other countries—if you want to keep expanding your global reach in wars—then as we used to say in the Bronx, payback’s a bitch. —Gerald Celente

“I’m all for Ron Paul: let’s end these wars, bring back the troops and rebuild America.”—Gerald Celente

“Ignorance in a candidate is a strength as far as the neocons are concerned.”—Justin Raimondo, Antiwar.com

“The conservative movement of today is a Bizarro World version of the historical doctrine of the American right, which up until the 1950s, was anti-imperialist as well as anti-government.”—Justin Raimondo

“Death is what ‘your’ government in Washington, both Republicans and Democrats, are bringing you. Both parties are driven by the neoconservatives who believe that American hegemony over the world is worth nuclear war to accomplish. If these dangerous ideologues continue to prevail, life on Earth has a very short-run prospect.”—Paul Craig Roberts

“The Soviet Union collapsed instantly. It was here one day and gone the next. The CIA was denying that it would collapse right up until the moment that it collapsed…….And the American collapse could be very sudden because of the massive debts. There’s no way you can be the reserve currency when you have this sort of debt explosion. There’s no way you can finance deficits that are so large. It can’t be done. That means massive money crashes; there goes Washington’s power, and all of their puppet states will abandon them.”—Paul Craig Roberts

“These globalists hate humanity and enjoy ugliness and pain and raw power. They love raw power so much.”—Alex Jones

Dick Cheney infamously said that “deficits don’t matter,” and war hawk Hillary “Bombs Away” Clinton obviously agrees. So does Romney, who insists that he will be an even better imperialist than Bailout Barack and Hillary The Hawk. For the War Party, no expense is too great when it comes to empire. But imperialist war will not save The Banana Republic of America from a grim future as a Third World hellhole. In the words of Chris Hedges, “Brace yourself. The American empire is over. And the descent is going to be horrifying.”

    • Gary2

El Pollo–Don’t you find it highly hypocritical that these politicians are always so eager to send others off to war? The way I see it if the war is such a good idea they should go over and fight with the poor who always get sent. I do not see any of the president kids etc over there fighting.

Its pretty easy to advocate for war that you do not have to be a part of and send others off to die.

I am with the Ron Paul crowd on this one. Stop being the worlds policeman.

I personally could care less about either countries.

      • El Pollo de Oro

Gary2 in Wisconsin: Politicians love wars as long as their kids aren’t the ones doing the fighting. They figure, “Why should my kids become cannon fodder? That’s what the poor are for.” And in The Banana Republic of America, there are a lot more poor people in 2012 than there were in the 1980s or 1990s–which means a lot more cannon fodder for the next war.

A libertarian friend recently “corrected” me when I said, “The only thing neocons are good at is empire-building.” He responds, “Actually, they aren’t even good at empire-building. The Third World countries neocons like to invade are major shitholes. So neocons actually suck at nation-building and empire-building.” Ha ha!

If Mexico were developing nuke capability over the last several years and repeatedly threatened to wipe the USA off the map, do you think the US would still be pursuing completely ineffective sanctions? Decisive action would have been taken long ago. Why would any reasonable person expect anything different from the Jewish state. Also, if the “Jewish mafia” runs America, how did the most pro-muslim/anti-Jewish president ever elected end up in the White House?

  • piazi

You either dig a hole deep in the ground to protect yourself againt a n bomb or you move next to a holy site where no one would dare to nuke. I do not think there is any one crazy enough moslem , christian, or athiest that would dare to nuke the land which is dear & holy to most humanity. This is misinformation & the real prize is control of resources in the region & may be some sick belief of supremacy by a few.

  • Gay Veteran

Gerald Celente thinks the elites, to distract us from the economic mess they made, will start a war with Iran and WW3 will be the result.

  • whoisbiggles

Yes Israel is looking for any excuse to launch an attack on Iran.
So what about an article that proves that Iran has the capability to build an atomic bomb? I posit that nobody can because we know that Iran doesn’t have the capability to enrich Uranium past 25%. That unlike Israel the IAEA is able to visit any site they want to.
What Israel fears is that they Israelis may have to start to rely on genuine diplomacy and negotiation.
I’m not apologist for the mad mullahs, but there is no way I want to see my kids getting involved in war between Israel and Iran.

About Syria (Arwad=Arpad?) Iran, Jeremiah 49 may fit of what is going on in the M.E.
    First Damascus:
Jeremiah 49:23Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

24Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.

25How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

26Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.

27And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.Jeremiah

Then, after the Syrian air space is free: Elam (Iran nuclear sites)

49:35Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

36And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

37For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

  • Gary2

let them kill each other, we will deal with the winner. I could care less about either of them when we have child poverty in this country at 25%.

Israel and Iran are irrelevant to me and pretty much everyone I know. We need to care about THIS country and not other countries.

Maybe Ron Paul is on to something when he said we need to end our foreign adventures.

  • McKinley Morganfield

IMO, the mullahs are not bat crap crazy. Iran’s propaganda is merely bluster. They know IDF has the means to scorch their cities into radioactive rubble and turn their oil fields inoperable for decades. So Iran will push and bluster, cause much mischief, and get everyone’s panty hose in a bunch; but nuke Israel? No way. What Iran wants to do is assume the mantle as the leader of Islam and marginalize Israel. Its a long term plan.

  • Mark

Lots of deference to religion in the comments here.
I would say that religion is irrelevant.. except for the fact that the Iranian leaders hold an apocalyptic delusion of reestablishing a califate in Palestine (sans jews of course). The messianic nonsense from Christians is no more helpful.

So here is the problem. Logic tells us that a war in the middle east will have many losers and no real winners.. That should be enough to avoid war we would hope.

But since when did religion ever hav anything to do with logic.

All along since America became the most powerful nation the world has ever seen, a crown that was placed on its head at the end of the cold war, it seemed kind of strange that the Bible would not mention such a kingdom. Well, you know what? It would be strange for the scriptures, which have identified and foretold the outcome of every world dominating power from the beginning to the end, not to mention this country. America has made its identity known when it stepped on to the middle eastern map and took residence, PERMANENT residence in the exact position in between the EXACTLY identified Kings of the North and South! If you want to know what the future holds for the war on terror, the situation in the middle east, and the great kingdom of the United States of America, turn to the book of revelation, and carefully consider chapters 17 and 18. The only country that has ever stood in the position as Israel’s protector has now taken its place in prophetic history, and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is finally, with no puzzle pieces missing… in view!

“Netanyahu Has Lost His Wits Over Iran: Mofaz

(photo)Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (L) and leader of the Kadima party Shaul Mofaz

        September 3, 2012

The leader of the Israeli opposition party Kadima has blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his war rhetoric against Iran, saying the hawkish premier has “lost his wits”.

“He seems to have lost his wits, and rather than making thought-out, responsible decisions, he is creating the sense of an impending war,” Shaul Mofaz said Sunday, following his last week’s meeting with Netanyahu where they discussed Iran.

Netanyahu seemed “confused, stressed out and unfocused” over the issue of Iran, Mofaz added.

“The prime minister has lost the faith of the security chiefs, United States President [Barack] Obama, and [Israeli] President Shimon Peres,” said Mofaz. “This is a bankrupt leadership.”

He added that there is a direct relation between Tel Aviv’s bellicose rhetoric against Iran and the economic woes in Israel.

“You cannot put the country into the frenzy of war,” he said. “There is a direct correlation between the talk of war, the economic situation, and people’s despair.”

Recently, thousands of Israelis have held demonstrations in Tel Aviv, protesting against social inequality and the government’s austerity measures.

Israeli demonstrators, furious and concerned about a potential Israeli attack on Iran, have also been protesting against the warmongering policies of the Israeli regime in the recent months.

Mofaz also supported the remarks made earlier Sunday morning by former Israeli Supreme Court justice Eliyahu Winograd, who described the talk by Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak about an aggression on Iran as “extremely irresponsible.”

According to Mofaz, Winograd “joins a long list of people” who have expressed strong opposition to a possible Israeli strike against the Islamic Republic.

“Winograd’s primary arguments against an early strike have also been voiced by every head of the defense establishment, the president of the United States, and an ongoing stream of highly placed administration visitors” to Israel, Mofaz said.

The US, Israel and some of their allies accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program with Tel Aviv repeatedly threatening Tehran with a military strike.

Iran refutes the allegations and maintains that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a committed member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it has every right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Iranian officials have also promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country.”

I well remember reading in March 2007 that within two months, if Israel didn’t attack Iran, it would be “too late!” Israeli leadership has been frothing to kill lots of Iranians for quite some time now. This isn’t about religious differences (that the BS for the gullible public), but instead it’s the usual reasons that have plagued mankind forever. Our glorious leaders desire power and control of natural resources. The Israelis seek to be the undisputed top dogs in the region and the US wishes to bring to heel all those who are not already client states.

I keep reading news accounts that confuse “nuclear program” and “nuclear weapons program.” The two are not the same. Our own intelligence agencies are unanimous in stating there is no Iranian nuclear weapons program but political leaders just continue to lie about it.

The Iranians have not attacked another country in hundreds of years. We and the Israelis can’t seem to do the same for a couple hundred days. If it’s not out in the open, then it’s done on the sly with proxies and outsider-supported coups.

And let’s be clear. Israel is not an ally of the US. Its espionage efforts against the US are second only to those directed against its immediate neighbors, and Israel can get away with it because of its political influence in this country. Its real attitude toward the US was reflected in its attack on the USS Liberty when it sought to sink the ship, kill all of the survivors, and blame it on the Arabs to gain US support for its upcoming aggression. Anyone who thinks the attack was just a mistake (lame excuse) should read the book by the ship’s former executive officer.

The Israelis use the US as its muscle and their powerful lobbies here virtually own our political leaders. Despite this country’s horrendous financial problems they are able to continue to siphon off billions every year and get anything else they want from us. So which country is truly the most powerful nation in the world? The one with the land mass, the assets, the big economy, the huge military, etc., or one that tells such a country what to do?

  • Handy

The ****** that rides the beast. I am sure that there are true Hebrews that sigh and groan with what the nation of Israel and it’s sold out leaders do in their (and God’s) name. But lets call it what it really is. You cannot ride a beast unless it lets you. Try to get on a horse if it does not want you there. So you either break the horse until he finally says ok, or it simply lets you ride. So thus we look to see what Amerika does. Will it have to be broke or will it just let her ride. We will see. They divided my land for gain.

1)israel area compared to iran`s 1,648,000 km is a joke by itself especially if the war break israel minute area makes it an easy target.
    2) if israel went to war , it will be bankrupt in 96 hours.
3)israel nuclear facilities are exposed while those of iran are all built & hidden in the 5000 meters hight persian mountain pleatau.
B)If america joins israel So really US military knows that another war in our region will result in a resounding defeat and kick the US economically from the region. because of the unjust solution of the palestian problem…people are disgusted from the american role .

“Netanyahu – The Mouth That Roars

    by Stephen Lendman,
    5 September, 2012.

His bluster long ago wore thin. Iranian/Israeli/Middle East analyst Meir Javedanfar said he put himself up a tree and wants Obama to bring him down. “It’s come down to threats, threats, threats, but we are at a saturation point.”

Growing numbers of Israelis reject him for good reason. He menaces them like others. Attacking Iran assures retaliation most Israelis fear. It’ll mean widespread destruction, radiation contamination, and large numbers killed or injured.

Gush Shalom founder Uri Avnery asked if he and Barak are mad or crazy? Netanyahu “may be crazy, but he is not mad. (Barak) may be mad, but he is not crazy.”

They’re an incendiary duo, but won’t attack Iran. Avnery quoted the film line: “If you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk.” He calls Netanyahu/Barak “beyond rational thinking.”

Israeli political analyst Yossi Alpher called Netanyahu’s antics “overkill. The US establishment is fed up with him. The Israeli public is fed up with him.” He created a “public controversy” and doesn’t know how to get out of it.

His vow to go it alone is bluster, not bite. Instead of calming things down, inflammatory comments follow earlier ones. On August 2, the Jerusalem Post headlined “Winograd: Striking Iran may endanger Israel’s future,” saying:

Former Supreme Court Justice Eliyahu Winograd opposes attacking Iran for good reason. In 2006, he headed the Committee of Inquiry on why Israel’s Lebanon war failed. He said:

“I am not convinced that the decision-makers will implement the findings of that report. If that is the case, we are all in big trouble.”

He denounced Netanyahu/Barak hawkishness on Iran despite strong opposition by senior Israeli past and current officials.

“All the heads of the defense establishment, the Shin Bet, the Mossad, both former and current, and military intelligence, everyone is saying ‘Don’t attack!’ ”

“(O)nly Barak and Netanyahu have decided yes,” or have they? Bluster often hides intentions. Bullies usually back down when confronted.

Winograd’s committee called Israel’s Lebanon war a failure. Political leaders didn’t sufficiently consult with military officials before attacking. They left before they looked.

Home Front preparedness was also inadequate. Little attention was given then and again now. A “rain of missiles” may follow attacking Iran. Israel is woefully unprepared. How many Israelis will die for Netanyahu/Barak’s folly? Why should any when peace avoids bloodshed.

How much longer will they put up with their bluster? Winograd criticized Netanyahu for complaining about former officials expressing views publicly. He’s more vocal than anyone.

“You intend to act. Sit down and shut up. Decide secretly if you’re attacking, and if you decide to attack, attack. But what are you talking for? So that the Iranians will be even more prepared and ready their missiles to target us?”

“You are going to endanger our entire country, everything we have built. Both the country physically and the economy.”

Opposition leader Shaul Mofaz echoed his comments, saying:

“Israel cannot act alone to prevent the Iranian nuclear program at this time. Such action might bring us into a very difficult war.”

Days earlier, Mofaz called Netanyahu “confused, stressed out and unfocused. (He) lost the trust of the security chiefs,” Obama and Shimon Peres. Former Mossad head Efraim Halevy fears a generation of war if Israel attacks Iran.

“We have to take into account the possibility that if we attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, there will no longer be a political horizon in regard to Iran or sanctions against Iran.”

“We have to deploy for the possibility that while the immediate result of the operation will be Israel’s glorification in the Sunni Arab world, the later result will be a sharp anti-Israeli public wave in the spirit of the Arab Spring.”

“We need to understand that after the attack, a deep Israeli complex will develop in Iran, one that crosses parties and opinions and communities, because we will become the symbol of those that humiliated Iran and prevented it from restoring its greatness.”

“We need to remember that we are very much dependent on the United States and not utter boastful slogans that we are sovereign and therefore will take our fate into our hands.”

Weeks ago, former Mossad head Meir Dagan said Israel faces no existential threat. He criticized inflammatory warmongering and urged changing Israeli’s system.

“(W)e need a prime minister,” he said,” who will not be subject to political pressures when deciding on such issues as an attack on Iran or a peace agreement.”

“The State of Israel is at a critical point in time of great challenges both foreign and domestic. Minority groups are controlling the state and the majority is not being heard.”

Former Military Intelligence head Major General (ret.) Uri Saguy also believes Netanyahu/Barak are heading Israel over a cliff. He expressed outrage over their dangerous warmongering. He called it “orchestrated and purposely timed hysteria that puts the country into a state of anxiety, artificial or not.”

His bottom line is that Netanyahu/Barak can’t be trusted. How can they be by putting Israelis and others in danger. IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz and Mossad head Tamir Pardo also oppose war.

So do Air Force head Amir Eshel, Military Intelligence chief Aviv Kochavi, Shin Bet director Yoram Cohen, and other top Israeli officials. Netanyahu/Barak are increasingly isolated.

On September 4, Haaretz headlined “In the Iranian poker game, Netanyahu and Barak have overplayed their hand,” saying:

The Israeli Hayom daily has close ties to Netanyahu. In recent weeks, it’s featured a barrage of worrying reports on Iran’s alleged nuclear progress and Washington’s failure to halt it.

In the last few days, something changed. On August 31, it highlighted Joint Chiefs Chairman General Martin Dempsey’s comments about America’s unwillingness to be complicit if Israel goes it alone.

The strategically timed IAEA report got second billing. On September 1, Iran got back page coverage. On September 3, it again made headlines, “but only in the form of Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Benny Gantz’s vague statement that the IDF can act ‘anywhere, anytime.’ ”

In other words, the daily out in front echoing inflammatory Netanyahu comments now backed off. “Does this indicate that (he’s) seeking a ladder to climb down from” his perch high up in a tree and very much out on a limb?

Perhaps he overplayed his hand. Crying wolf enough times begins falling on deaf ears. Growing Netanyahu/Barak public disapproval also matters. So does disagreement with Washington. It’s over timing, not policy.

Key is that Netanyahu/Barak talk is bluster. Without Washington’s support, attacking Iran won’t happen. Haaretz thinks inflammatory Israeli comments damaged US/Israeli relations. Perhaps eventually but not now.

Key is what major media reports don’t say. Their common theme is suppressing truth and full disclosure. On Iran, Haaretz is no different. The Islamic Republic poses no Israeli or regional threat. Its nuclear program is peaceful.

Top world leaders know it. Over 100 NAM countries support it. They oppose US/Israeli warmongering. Their agenda is peace, not conflict. They respect national sovereignty inviolability.

They know international law prohibits interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. It’s also unequivocal against attacking another one except in self-defense.

These issues are ignored in America’s media, what’s seen and read across Europe, and what Israeli broadcast and print media report. They’re key above all others. Failure to discuss them advances the ball for war.

Doing so is reckless, irresponsible, and complicit. It puts culpable journalists in the same category as propagandists. Blood will be on their hands if it’s shed.

Apologies won’t be forthcoming for being on the wrong side of rule of law principles, support for what should be condemned, and failure to do what good journalists should – their job.

    A Final Comment

On September 4, Israeli intelligence officials briefed Netanyahu and security cabinet members. They do it annually or when special occasions arise.

They focused on Iran, Syria, Egypt, and US/Israeli relations. The meeting was closed. Ministerial aides and advisors weren’t invited. Military intelligence, Mossad and Shin Bet participated. So did Foreign Ministry representatives.

A follow-up meeting is likely. Hopefully opposition to inflammatory rhetoric was stressed. Honest talk about no existential threat needs highlighting and repetition. Truth needs to be separated from what’s not. Above all, avoiding potentially catastrophic war is vital.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is no peacenik. He’s hardline for direct Western intervention against Syria. His no-fly zone/safe haven advocacy means war if either or both are instituted.

At the same time, he warns about attacking Iran. “I think that if there were an Israeli attack, unfortunately it could come back to haunt Israel,” he said.

“I am absolutely opposed to the idea that Iran would gain nuclear weapons,” he said, “but I think if there was an Israeli attack,” Tehran will be victimized and gain legitimacy.

Britain’s defense establishment Royal United Services Institute director Michael Clarke says there’s “no basis in international law for preventative, rather than preemptive, war.”

There’s no basis for either except when clear evidence shows foreign forces mobilized for attack.

Israeli borders aren’t threatened. Iran supports peace, not war. Its nuclear program is legal and non-military. It fully complies with NPT provisions.

Those issues deserve daily headlines. Don’t expect warmongering media to feature them.”

As a history buff, I love to take a lesson from the past. When the boat, the SS Missouri, set sail from Nazi Europe to the United States and was denied entry at the port in Florida, God brought about one of his promises. Centuries ago, He said to Abram, and it is recorded in Genesis, “I will bless them that bless thee and I will curse them that curseth thee.” (Sorry for the paraphrase.) The SS Missouri was carrying 900 Jews fleeing persecution. The Coast Guard would not let them in and Roosevelt would not answer a telegram sent to him. Wouldn’t even acknowledge it. The year was 1939. And in two years, 1941, the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor was the deadliest terrorist attack until September 11. God always brings about a fulfillment of his word. He keeps his promises.

I read all the opinions of man..but G-d tells us in scripture, that has never been wrong that it is better to believe G-d than man. Why wonder when the truth is in scripture and is more up to date than the lying media. I see from remarks that not many know history so are hell bent on repeating it, nothing new under the sun. Jeremiah 49:38..G-d speaking. I will set MY Throne over Elam/Iran , and will destroy from thence the KIng and the Princes, saith the L-rd. Iran will be destroyed and that includes the nukes plant..Genesis 12:3 tells us from the beginning that anyone that goes against Israel is cursed, even the one’s who don’t care one way or the other is acursed. Anyone whois dumb enough to have more faith in Iran or see’s G-d words as no effect s blind. Isral has the power to destroy the world to say nothing of Iran..Psalms 83 tells us and G-d namest the natios who will attack around Israel..He also tells us Damascus will be rubble and the nations around will cry ..Read the scripture and find out the lands G-d gave to Israel and the Jews and is a everlasting Covenant..HE IS NOT a Covenant breaker. and if you all think HE is then start doubting the Salvation for those who believe on HIM. I see no part of mention of the US in Prophecy, but I do see America falling as G-d won’t be mocked. HE says He is in the wind and the seas obey. Every time the US goes against Israel we get hurricains and drought and now here came Issah..Now Michael is on the way..HE is the G-d of Abrahm, Issac and Jacob..who has been thrown out by gov. Anyone who thinks the talking heads talk truth in our gov is fooling themselves..Bush drew up the American, Canada and Mexico North American Union and handed obama the reighn and also the Patroit act , the all want a one world gov under communism , Islam ..obama is a muslim, radical who brings in Muslim brotherhood and thousands of jiah. Believe it or not. Will Iran fall……..yes…Damascus , YES…nations going aginst Israel ,,YES..and when the nations do allgo against HER G-d says, HE will kill them on the shores, follow them home, killing them on the way, follow them into their countries and kill the men , women and children and the ox..HE IS A G-d of Justice and HE is coming soon. and war..sure enough..HE tells us NO ONE will have an excuse..and all Israel will be saved and of HIS Kingdom, there will be NO END. Shalom

Doesn’t matter if one is red, white, black yellow or whatever. there is evil in many of whoever it is. How anyone can not love Israel and the Jewish People are insane. don’t like them, then send back the cell phones, Job, Bill Gates , Ford and many other who descovered medicine and all else..they have blessed the whole world for all of us and now they are to ly down and just die?? Remember our L-rd came to die for us all but we either except Him or NOT…HIS Word is TRUTH..We all have a choice wh we will serve…HE also warns of those who go around stealing, KILLING and destroying. even their own..ring a bell? Like they say, we smile in their faces and curse them all in our hearts and Allah will rule the world..Maybe for seven yrs,,no more…For whatever reasons the mind set is believing the GOP is good, Dem is bad..following that mind set is destroying us too…They all think they are smarter than G-d, they don’t need HIM…even tho G-d blessed us with America…Throwing G-d out, trashing the commandments and people scream YES WE CAN..unreal..Pithetic..and very sad…A hose devided will fall, and fast………..

I chuckle at all you who relate to GOD’S position on this and all other matters.
    Why do I laugh?
    Consider this……

Athelete’s ‘prays to God’ before each game to give them the strength or ability to ‘win’ the game.
Does not “GOD” love all of us equally?
    No matter what religion.

Why the hell would “GOD” who loves ‘me’ too give you any special strength to defeat me ?

Isn’t this what’s going on with each of the ‘opposing sides’???

Without ‘GOD’ we all take the side of ‘our’ life’s way of living whether it be democratic, communistic Islamic theistic atheistic agnostic Hindi Bhudda-ism etc…or any other way of life ‘you’ chose.

The real question is how can we get people to follow the ‘real’ 6 commandments of ”human nature”…

The first 4 are for the ‘preying religions’.

Honor thy father and thy mother:

    Thou shalt not kill.

    Thou shalt not commit adultery

    Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife,(what about the husband?)
nor his manservant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass,
nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s.

The first 4 are the fear tactics of the religious ‘leaders’ who prey on human fears to enhance their
way of ‘making a good living’ by ‘bull-shitting’ you into the fear of the here-after if you don’t
do and live as ‘they’ preach’ in the name of “GOD”

They, some of whom are pediphiloes, homo-sexuals, adulter-ors (sex with Nuns and vice-versa),murderers (ala abortions etc with ‘
Nuns”)blasphemers ( by threatening you to Hell in the name of “GOD” and just plain ‘half-truthers’ to support them a good living and using “GOD’s ( true blasphemy) name to achieve their successful businesses and allow their ‘followers to ‘hunger in poverty ala the Catholic Church one of the richest entities in the world stand by as many of their ‘flock’ live in ‘hunger and squalor’….
Read the ‘Dead Sea Scrolls” for these truths written also by the same kind of ancients who wrote and re-wrote the ‘bible’ for over 800 years and even to this day to further perfect control over their flock…….

Remember the ‘Dead Sea Scrolls” were also written by the ‘ancients’ who were also there like the ancients who wrote and re-wrote the ‘bible’….
Didn’t the current ‘ Nazi Pope Benedict’ just decree that ‘Christ died for ‘some’ of us”??? Before wasn’t it Christ died for ‘all’ of us ??..
and that Christ was made out of the same kind of stuff that ‘GOD’ was made of.

Yes, I know Benedict was forced into a Hitler Youth Corps and has since rejected being a NAZI because he was forced into it.
Well I was born a Catholic and forced into it by birth and then left it and subsequently told by a ‘priest’
    Once a Catholic, always a Catholic….Well doesn’t that apply also to once a ‘Nazi’ always a “Nazi”…

Why my tirade on religion ??

It makes sense to me that dealing with world problems boils down to taking ‘sides’ with ‘our side’ of life and not yours
    and nothing else………..

Yes I believe in “GOD’ but not in the blasphemous way that most all churches practice it..
Heaven is true communism, everyone is equally benefitted……Right ?

I agree with you, I’m almost certain if or shall I say when World War III starts it will definitely start with Israel, Iran, and the United States. As probably your only atheist reader what really scares me is the glee in the eyes and or the excitement in the voice, article, or comment of Christians at the thought of war in the “holy land” that would bring back their “lord and savior” but sadly all it will bring is death and suffering to millions possibly hundreds of millions of people. If the human race is not completely destroyed and after all that death and destruction the only real winners will be the military industrial complex, banks, and other profit from death and suffering companies.

“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought,
but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

What a read. Haven’t been around for a while Michael, but good grief, the level of forum opinion, debate and the newly allowed use of certain “words” have really opened things up. Big increase in site hits? The differing opinions and data highlight how successful the PTB “Divide and Conquer” tactics have been. On one side are what I call the “proxy’s”, on the other side are clearly some very thorough researchers. Tip.. go well beyond Egypt’s commonly assumed history!

Israel and all that pertains to it is the most difficult subject to deal with. I will refrain from stating why. Some past posts purposely opened that door. Many still need to awaken to the bigger picture. It’s all in the bloodlines and nothing has changed. Neither have the plethora of bizarre “contradictions”. People need to get better at joining all the dots.

You will likely see all the “symbology” in action once again at tonight’s “final” closing ceremony of the London Limpics. The last three ceremonies have been put up on YouTube with a full overlay narrative as to what the symbology means and where it all points back to. The process or “grand plan” will not succeed. This planet will be taken back and returned to a state of “fully conscious” integrity. Time will prove how this will occur. Too many differing theories!

Note for all the US readers. A retired Major General has confirmed through the FOIA that “multiple” agencies have purchased just under one billion hollow point bullets. They are illegal under the Geneva Convention. I will leave it to each individual to determine the reasons why they have been bought and delivered.

Fear brings about its own reality, so always guard your thoughts. At least ensure they are not “fear” based. Ironically, fear based propaganda generates revenue for many and disaster for the rest. Positive or negative, thinking is an energy and that energy will always produce a result, based upon what you are thinking. Why else do you think the mainstream media (etc) is highly controlled? Because they must shape your thinking in order to ensure the desired results are delivered.

Iran is not a genuine threat and probably never will be. The country has a fascinating history and I dont believe the so called threat to the West is nuclear based. It is something else which has been suppressed. Tesla is the key! Study harmonic equations and geometrics! It’s old knowledge, but is publicly available.

Iran’s actions are likely to remain defensive. They are essentially a peaceful people, unlike the West who suffer from extreme egotism, sociopathy and psychopathy. Keeps the billions rolling in for the “owned” pharmaceuticals, who are actually killing you along with other food and drink company’s. Stay clear of fluoride and so called “diet” products that contain aspartame (etc).

The next three months will be very interesting. Watch the Gold price closely. Will Ron Paul go independent? Much is at stake with the other “puppets”. Romney is no friend of the USA. Friends invest and don’t avoid paying taxes. Under NO circumstances let that guy into the White House!!! America is a severe threat to itself, nobody else. The genuine bloodlines of “Israel” are under threat, not KZ’s.

hi.i live in Iran.this part “The husband said that their government has just shut sown the whole …” it seems like a joke to me!!

I’m afraid the west is gonna get ashed themselves due to their wrong and bloody policies committed by their devil governments….

Today’s USA type of bulls and wolves have already been sent to graveyards in history… even stronger than them (only history is the witness).
