Americans are perverted in that they are childish and repressed when it comes to sexuality and nudity. Very few of you have the self-awareness to realize that your condemnation and rejection of sexuality is perverted. The very existence of this misguided article and its vilification of several common, harmless sexual behaviors are further testament to American stupidity, immaturity, and hypocrisy. Furthermore, this article’s author is painfully uneducated in history; humanity has ever been what they foolishly consider to be “perverted”, therefore, any “moral decay” that they perceive is an illusion. I can only pity you and hope that your country’s mindless, socially backwards moral priorities spread as narrowly as possible.

So, the moral rot in the US boils down to sex sin? This is too narrow a focus, which itself is symptomatic of moral rot.

Where is the outrage at Americas vast military spending, its illegal wars, its suspension of habeas corpus, its torture? Where is the upset at American exceptionalism, and the self righteousness and pride that belief exemplifies?

Where is the outrage at America’a contempt for the poor, its greed, its lawlessness in international affairs?

American military adventurism is more dangerous than its addiction to pornorgraphy but american religion, itself so depraved as to exemplify american moral rot, either ignores it or endorses it.

When the Church is shares the national obsession with sex to the exent that that is all itr complains about we know that the rot is deep and terminal

Faulty statistics, looking at the “trends”. If you are going to compare today to 20 years, ago, think again. How many crimes happened, that at one time would have gone unreported. Remember that factoid that 60 million Americans are the survivors of childhood abuse? If you say that there is an increase in abuse, perhaps it’s mostly due to increased reporting by abuse victims. That’s the trouble with all of this, I believe, completely that these ‘perversions’ are proportionally very similar to the past. I would just about bet money on the fact that we are no more or less perverted than 20, 40, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 years ago.

Protect yourselves and be ever vigilant — life is not a walk in the park. Try to balance yourselves and find safety to enjoy the good bits.

Lots of men do look at porn but this was a fact before the Internet. I would love to believe porn and promiscuity is a “liberal” problem but can we explain why the divorce rate is much higher in the Bible Belt down south than in liberal Massachusetts? Divorce has done so much harm to the American family you can probably see in the rise of divorce and broken homes the rise of all other social problems in our society. When you have a one parent home who has time to watch the kids and protect them?

Same thing here in the Philippines. We blame the issue of porn on the Americans because we look at your country now as liberal.
