Most people don’t realize it yet, but we really are living at one of the most dramatic moments in human history.  If deals are not made with Iran and Russia, missiles will start flying all over the place and we will soon find ourselves right in the middle of the kinetic phase of World War III.  But if President Trump is able to peacefully end Iran’s nuclear program and bring the war in Ukraine to a conclusion, the future could potentially look completely different.  Decisions that global leaders are making right now are going to have an enormous impact on the lives of billions of people.  So let us hope that they make their choices wisely. We are potentially just one eruption away from a horrifying global famine that could kill millions. It takes an absolutely massive amount of dust and ash to create the conditions that are necessary for a “volcanic winter”, and most volcanoes are simply not capable of releasing that much material. It has often been said that “war is hell”, and that is so true.  It has been estimated that somewhere between 70 and 85 million people died during World War II, and now World War III is looming.  I just asked Google AI to tell me how many people will die during World War III, and I was told that “it’s likely that the death toll would be devastatingly high, potentially reaching into the billions”. We are literally closer to that sort of an apocalyptic conflict than we have ever been before, and yet most of the population is partying as if there will be “peace and safety” long into the future.  So many of us have been lulled into a false sense of security, but the truth is that the very small window of opportunity that we have to avoid World War III is rapidly closing. Is any hope of a peaceful resolution to the war in Ukraine about to slip away?  President Trump just told reporters that he is “not happy with what Putin is doing”, and meanwhile approximately 50,000 Russian troops are positioned just across from Ukraine’s “fortress city” of Kharkiv.  A major offensive in the direction of Ukraine’s second largest city would escalate the conflict to an entirely new level, and European leaders would go absolutely ballistic.  So what would President Trump do in such a scenario? In secret labs all over the planet, researchers are playing around with the deadliest diseases that humanity has ever known.  In some cases, the goal is to make those diseases even more deadly and even easier to spread.  If a terrorist organization or one of our enemies really wanted to create complete and utter chaos in our society, releasing a weaponized disease in a heavily populated area would be one of the easiest ways to do that.  A bomb could kill hundreds or even thousands of people, but a highly infectious pestilence could spread like wildfire all over the country and potentially kill millions of Americans.  If you believe that the Iranians, the North Koreans, the Russians, the Chinese and radical Islamic terror groups all over the globe would never do such a thing because they are such decent people, you have a much higher view of humanity than I do. The Iranians are very harshly telling President Trump that he is not going to get what he wants. Over the weekend, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff told ABC News that Iran will not be allowed to enrich uranium, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Monday that “we are 100% committed to that red line”.  Of course the Iranians were never going to agree to that, and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei just made that exceedingly clear.  The Iranians apparently believe that Trump was bluffing about taking military action against Iran, and so now we will see if Trump was bluffing or not.  Meanwhile, CNN is reporting that Israel “is making preparations to strike Iranian nuclear facilities”… (Read More...)

Have you noticed that America has been getting pummeled by a series of major natural disasters in recent days?  Dozens of immensely powerful tornadoes have carved trails of destruction across the middle of the country, Chicago was just hit by an “apocalyptic” wall of dust, and a plague of millions upon millions of crickets is causing chaos in Utah.  Some have pointed out that what we are currently going through is eerily similar to what the U.S. experienced during the days of the Great Depression in the 1930s.  Others are wondering if the weird behavior of the Sun has anything to do with the disasters that we are now seeing.  But what everyone should be able to agree on is that what we are witnessing right now is certainly not normal.
