Large Earthquakes Cause Tall Buildings In Mexico City And Manila To Sway Back And Forth

When skyscrapers start moving back and forth, that definitely is not a a good sign.  In recent months, there has been a tremendous amount of seismic activity along the “Ring of Fire”, and a couple of significant earthquakes on Monday got a lot of attention because they happened in very heavily populated areas.  Fortunately the damage was fairly limited and only a few people died, but scientists assure us that it is only a matter of time before a killer quake hits a major city.  And considering the fact that hundreds of millions of people live along the perimeter of the Pacific Ocean, when a killer quake does strike we could potentially be talking about a disaster unlike anything we have ever seen before. Churches Have Become The #1 Target For Hate Attacks – An Average Of 105 Every Single Month

The bombings in Sri Lanka have once again put a spotlight on the rising tide of violence against Christians all over the world.  According to Open Doors USA, an average of 105 churches and/or Christian buildings are burned or attacked every month.  That is more than three per day, and almost all of those attacks get ignored by the mainstream media in the western world.  In addition, an average of 345 Christians are killed for faith-related reasons every single month.  Of course these numbers will soon be out of date, because violence against Christians continues to escalate all over the globe, and the horrifying attacks that we just witnessed in Sri Lanka are a perfect example.  The following comes from CBS News(Read More...)

Pete Buttigieg Is Drawing The Same Sorts Of Crowds That Barack Obama Did During His First Presidential Run

When I originally heard that a small town mayor named Pete Buttigieg was running for president, I truthfully didn’t think that he had a prayer of actually being a serious contender for the Democratic nomination.  And yet here we are just a few months later, and he is making it happen.  It is expected that eventually there will be at least 20 Democrats running for president, but right now Buttigieg is creating more buzz than anyone else. Without a doubt, progressives are excited that he is the first openly gay man to ever run for president, and that is definitely helping him with those on the left.  But in order to be a serious contender for the presidency, more is required than that, and Buttigieg appears to possess some very keen political instincts.  He also appears to have a unique ability to deeply connect with people, and that should be very frightening for those that wish to keep him out of the White House. Again? Establishment Democrats Are Plotting To Sabotage Bernie Sanders Because They Are Scared Trump Would Beat Him

Bernie Sanders is on a roll, and this is absolutely terrifying many establishment Democrats.  He has raised far more money that any of the other Democratic candidates, he just took the lead in a major national poll, and a Fox News town hall featuring Sanders was just watched by nearly 2.6 million viewers.  You would think that the Democratic establishment would be thrilled to see such enthusiasm for one of their presidential candidates, but instead they are totally freaking out because they don’t want him to be the nominee.  On Tuesday, the New York Times published an article entitled “‘Stop Sanders’ Democrats Are Agonizing Over His Momentum”, and in that article we are told that “his critics are chiefly motivated by a fear that nominating an avowed socialist would all but ensure Mr. Trump a second term”.  And of course those critics are right.  If Sanders is the nominee, that will give Trump the best chance of winning again in 2020.  It would be a complete and total nightmare for the Democratic Party, and so in order to avoid that scenario some Democratic operatives are already plotting how to sabotage the Sanders campaign. The Internet Erupts With Speculation About Who Started The Notre Dame Cathedral Fire

The entire world was absolutely shocked by the massive fire that engulfed the Notre Dame cathedral on Monday.  We are being told that the structure of the cathedral has been saved, but according to CNN the “entire wooden interior of Notre Dame Cathedral has been lost”.  Now that the initial shock of the fire has subsided, the Internet is buzzing with speculation about the origin of the fire.  In the end, there are only two options.  Either this was an accident, or someone intentionally started the fire.  And if the fire was intentionally started, obviously someone had a motive for doing so. 30 Extremely Bizarre “Florida Man” Stories That Prove That America Is In Far More Trouble Than We Thought

“Florida Man” just keeps getting into more trouble.  In recent years, “Florida Man” has become one of the Internet’s hottest memes, and there is never a shortage of new material because residents of the state seem to have a knack for getting arrested for some of the most bizarre crimes imaginable.  So earlier today when I saw a headline that said “Florida man strips naked and poops in Naples family’s yard”, I knew that I had to do this article.  Normally my articles deal with very heavy topics, and even though this article will be much more light-hearted, I am still making a serious point.  Without a doubt, the “Florida Man” headlines below are very funny, but the fact that there are so many of them should disturb all of us.  The fabric of our society is literally coming apart right in front of our eyes, and if we continue down this path it is hard to imagine any sort of a positive future for our nation.  So please keep that in mind even as you are laughing at these headlines. Survey Finds That Half Of America’s Pastors Are Afraid To Speak Out About Controversial Topics

Have you ever wondered why most church services in America seem to be filled with lots of fluff and very little substance?  As America’s moral foundations literally collapse right in front of our eyes, a large percentage of our pastors are afraid to speak out about controversial topics because they might offend someone.  And it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why they are so afraid.  Most U.S. churches are shrinking, and more than 100 die every week.  In a day and age where pastors are judged by attendance numbers and budget levels, scaring people away is bad for business.
